Michael our server always makes us feel welcome and like family

Stephanie, Justin, Jonathan and Mateo were absolutely wonderful. Dining out should be as much about the experience as the food. The food is off the charts, but the experience is second to non. The whole team puts out an amazing product that makes us want to come back for more. Thank you Matao’s Osteria for providing such a wonderful experience.

We love Matteo’s! So happy that they have reopened. Staff is contagious with their enthusiasm and we just felt like we were ‘home’ for incredible food and a great date night!!

We had a wonderful evening, my husband and I. Our server was extremely busy but worked very hard to serve us well. We will definitely visit Matteo's the next time we are on Maui.

We ate at most of Maui’s best restaurants and Matteos did not disappoint. Everything was absolutely delicious. Beautiful ambiance and excellent service.

Our last night out in Maui before returning to the mainland. Our server Kiana went out of her way to ensure it was a very special night. She was so kind and very knowledgeable about the menu options. She recommended the specials (Odo Buco and Catch of the Day) to my husband and I. My kids loved their food as well. Our son had the buttered noodles which were spectacular and our daughter had a cheese pizza, also amazing. We loved it! Probably the best Italian meal we’ve had in a long time!

I've been to Matteo's 5-6 times and it doesn't disappoint. Stephanie and Justin are excellent waiters. The chef's always do an outstanding job with the food and any special requests. And just like eating in Europe, there is no rush to get you out the door after/during the meal.

Once again, went to our favorite restaurant for my girlfriends birthday! It was absolutely delicious!

The Osteria is just the best!! Stephanie, Justin and Johnathan made Valentines super special. The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere spot on. The host (did not get his name) is always warm and welcoming. He gave my beautiful girlfriend a rose at the end of the night... good thing because I forgot to 😬. Thank you Matteo for making your restaurant more than dinner, you and your staff make it an experience.

This place is fantastic!!! Great personal service. We always get treated like family. The food is amazing. Stephanie and Justin are incredible as everyone else is too. Mateo personally served us our main dish. It was delicious.

Just going out for dinner at this lovely restaurant! The ambiance is lovely. We ate at an outside table. Justin, our waiter, was fantastic as usual . He has been there since the restaurant opened! He was our waiter last year as well.
I enjoyed the fresh catch of the day, and my husband had the lamb shanks. Both were served on polenta,. Mine was a fried polenta...which was delicious , we both had half a Caesar salad. The food is consistent, the bread freshly baked, and the service not intrusive... just a nice evening out!

The eggplant parm appetizer is so, so good. And the Portofino pizza was great. The Pinot Grigio was superb. It is like a little bit of Italy on Maui. I want to mention how great the hostess was. I had called to move up my reservation at the last minute and couldn’t be accommodated. Ten minutes later I received a call say there was cancellation and could come in immediately. She even changed the reservation on Open Table so they would scold me for missing my reservation.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Wrong picture

Waitress was great, I ordered flatbread and husband ordered a pasta. Had to request Parmesan because there was not much flavor in the pizza and my husband needed salt for his pasta. Just ok

Matteo’s was recommended by friends and didn’t disappoint. They served home baked bread to start. We shared a fabulous but small eggplant Parmesan appetizer and split a large Caesar salad. The seafood linguine was excellent with black pasta and a generous serving of many types of seafood. The waitress suggested an excellent wine. Although I was full I had to try the cannoli with lillikoi (passion fruit) sauce. Mmmm
