A return visit to Matteo’s for my wife and me. As we experienced at other times the menu was excellent with a wide variety to choose from, the service and ambiance was superb.

As always, the service is top notch , the food is exceptional and the servings are huge! We love Matteo’s and look forward to our next visit !

Always delicious! Not the least expensive Italian restaurant around,,,,everything is a la carte, but the quality of ingredients and preparation of any dish we have had is outstanding. We tried chicken ultima this past time - prepared with a light Francese sauce, topped with thin slices of cherry peppers and finished with mozzarella. The shrimp parmigiana we ordered was also quite tasty. Having been to three Matteo’s, one in Boca Raton, , another on Long Island and Hallandale, Hallandale is my favorite.

Our favorite place to go when visiting South Florida. Love Nonna's Ragu, the huge portions and the great service.

Edwardo is the best server ever. The food was incredible. The quality and portions are great. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a 6:45 pm reservation and was not seated until 7:15 pm

We sat in back corner next to wall. Lots of construction going on behind wall. Banging, drilling,etc. when we mentioned it was difficult to hear ( my husband wears hearing aids). No apology. Just remark it was construction
No recovery or drink. We still tipped waiter over 20 percent not his fault

We had a great time and enjoyed the great service as well as good food. I would recommend to anyone.

Always an enjoyable experience. Food was fantastic and service was superior. We were 6 people and the waiter plated all the portions of 3 appetizers and 4 entrees perfectly.

Matteos is a fantastic neighborhood italian restaurant. We love their food, service and quantity! Great portion size. Always accommodating and willing to adjust items. We eat there weekly! Thank you Matteos for being such a great restaurant.

The waitress was excellent. Food was great. We had an early res so we missed most of the crowds when it got very busy and noisy

We usually visit this restaurant for a birthday in the family each year. In the past the food was tasty and we weren't so crowded together. This time the food was lacking taste all around so I'm not sure we will be visiting again going forward. For the prices charged I expected to have a really good dinner but that did not happen. The serve staff was absolutely wonderful and couldn't have done any better. Perhaps if the prices came down and the food was enhanced we would reconsider but at this time I do not expect that to happen.

Manager was a bit rude , asked a question and his answer wasn’t patient and kind , more short and dismissive ( all I asked was if my meal came with a side because my husbands’ did . - next time I’ll read menu more closely I guess) Second time going and food & waitstaff do not disappoint - definitely go.

I did not like this restaurant. The food used to be better. Salad was underdressed and we asked for anchovies that never came. The pasta dish was not flavorful. The service was inattentive. I will not eat here again.
