We were not rushed. Appetizers and drinks first then we ordered entree. Good ambiance
A great place!!
Their Sunday Brunch was excellent!
Let me begin by saying the service was EXCELLENT. The meal itself, not so much. We ordered the Bar Chips thinking they would be fries, but they were actual chips, hand made and tasty, but that was a surprise. For our meal we each ordered a flat bread. I had the mushroom flatbread and it was severely short on mushrooms, although generously draped in arugula leaves to the point you really couldn't see what was topping the flatbread. He ordered the Black & Blu and found the blu cheese lacking in flavor and the drizzle of sauce to be over-generously applied. However, dessert (brownie) made up for all that being fantastic.
Restaurant filled up quickly on a Saturday evening starting at 5:00pm. They had several good gluten free options for my wife.
This was our third time visiting. First visit was when they first opened and we didn’t feel that it wowed us for the price. I went for lunch recently and had a better experience and decided to give it a try again with same friends that we went with on our first visit. We booked thru Open Table and requested a table. Arrived on time and table (half table/half booth) was ready however it was in the back corner of the restaurant next to the kitchen:( The noise level was such that we had a difficult time carrying a conversation. Kudos to our server as two of us have food related health issues and he was able to accommodate what we requested. Overall food was good but we won’t be returning anytime soon due to noise level.
Good food. Friendly and attentive service. Good alternative to everything else in the downtown restaurant district.
I love the Sunday brunch and always make a point to come when my mom is in town visiting. The food is always great and the servers are very friendly.
We were attending a concert at the Palladium so it was very convenient to eat here beforehand. It was a Friday evening & we had made a reservation ahead of time; otherwise it would have been an hour wait. Food, drinks, & atmosphere good.
Another excellent visit; never been disappointed!
We tried the Sunday brunch with the family and had a great experience. The buffet options are tremendous, the Bloody Mary bar is a stroke of genius, and we had fast and attentive service not only table side but throughout the buffet experience. For a family of 6, it was a bit pricier than we normally would budget for a regular Sunday brunch, but the all you can eat nature of such a wide variety of delicious food options will have us back for special occasions or budgeted surprise treats for no reason at all but to stuff ourselves silly (which we did). Don't plan to eat much the rest of the day!
Everyone’s meals were good, heard no complaints We thought it was a little pricey for what you received.
At 7 pm, on Saturday, I set up a reservation through Open Table for 5 at 8:00 pm. We arrived about 7:30 and were told it would be a few minutes before our table was ready. We went to the bar and got drinks and within a few minutes we were told our table was ready, well before the 8 pm time we requested, so that was a positive.
Our server was very helpful with recommendations and was attentive, without being overbearing.
Everyone enjoyed their meal. The food is a good value for the price.
It was a very good experience overall.
12th birthday dinner special request by our daughter. Waitress was busy and visibly shared that with us. Food was top notch.
The best restaurant in Carmel
Enjoyed the evening with the family. Seated promptly on a Saturday night (with reservation). We were 25 minutes early but they found a table for us within minutes of our arrival.
Love Matt the Miller's. Food is always good and service is above average. Have never been disappointed with either the food or the service. Highly recommend
had a great time. The server was very good. Veggies were not cooked well but it was fixed.
We were short on time for a concert at Palladium when we arrived. Our food came out so fast and was delicious. Don’t miss the pretzel bites. They are the size of a small dinner roll and definitely enough to share. I had a mushroom burger which came out medium rare as requested and the Miller Salad instead of fries. My wife had the grilled chicken with angel hair pasta and enjoyed it as well. We definitely will return when we have more time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
We went to dinner before going to a performance at the Palladium. No leftovers on our plates-food was delicious. We would definitely dine here again.
OUTSTANDING FOOD & SERVICE AS ALWAYS!!
We actually celebrated Valentines Day on Saturday for lunch it was a great experience I just wish we didn't have three small kids within earshot of our table otherwise it was a 9 experience.
Food was great and great beer. Only issue was they sat us in the corner behind a pillar that was about 2 feet from our table which blocked view to entire restaurant it was a really awkward table location. It also took a long time for a server to come to our table. We had to ask for a server to come over. Probably due to not being able to see our table.
Atmosphere was great for Valentines Day, service was great, some food items were excellent.
I ordered the pan seared walleye at $22 per waiters recommendation and my love be for fish.
It was pathetic! I received two small fish stick size pieces that were 3”x1”. The waiter actually brought extra sauce for them. Hahaha!
I may get a burger if I ever return?
We made reservations and upon arrival our table was ready. Our server was very personable and energetic. She was very knowledgeable on the menu items and attentive to any needs at our table. Our meal was delivered as ordered and was quite delicious.
Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Great food and great service at decent prices. Portions were proper and the quality of the food was great. I definitely recommend the ribeye.
This is my third visit to Matt's and it just keeps getting better! A great place to dine and I highly recommend!!
Good food for good price and server was great. Excellent experience and would highly recommend.
Great combination of food and atmosphere. The Ahi Tuna flatbread is superb as is the pretzel bites appetizer.
Hamburger ordered and cheeseburger provided. Salmon so salty it could not be eaten. Server worked hard to get things right but disappointing food quality unlike any of our many past experiences.
Great food and service. Easy to get in for the appointment. Great beer choices.
Great food at reasonable prices! Their giant carrot cake is to die for & really big enough for 4 people!!!
The Bavarian Pretzel Bites are amazing! Any of the flatbread entrees are great!
Went here for dinner before a concert at the Palladium. Had great service. There is a happy hour from 4-7 on Mon-Fri and they have 5 dollar apps. Very good atmosphere
Excellent service, food and atmosphere! We had reservations for 4 and ended up having another person join us last minute. It was awesome they made it work for us during a busy Friday night! The food, and service was fantastic!
Love the food...nice variety so there is something for everyone. Have always had great service, no matter the number of people in the party (from 2-20). And the people I’m with always seem to want to go back again.
Food was wonderful all around the table. Chicken tenders, fries and fruit for my granddaughter. Bacon burger and fries for myself and the Walley, asparagus & sautéed mushrooms for my guest Courtesy of BIRTHDAYPAK gift certificate. What a great partnership. Brandon seated us & David was our server. GREAT guys!
Way to noisy in the bar area. Several loud people (with lots of cursing) who were drinking way too much with our table really close did not make it a good experience.
Ordinary contemporary American. You won't be disappointed, but you won't be thrilled either.
