We were disappointed in our recent trip to Matt the Millers. One person in our party ordered the Kale Caesar Salad only to find that it had no kale in it. She then ordered another half flatbread, but it didn’t arrive until after or bill. Another person ordered a different salad only to find that it was lacking flavor and slimy. We also had to ask numerous people to get refills on waters.

We went today for the Thanksgiving buffet. Everything was delicious. I especially enjoyed the prime rib, turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing. The cornbread soufflé was yummy. The turkey was so moist and flavorful. Lots of desserts and coffee to choose from. There was pecan pie, pumpkin pie, French silk, brownies, and a chocolate cake. The service was very friendly and efficient.

Food was good and the buffet was well stocked. I get it’s thanksgiving but our server clearly didn’t want to be there. All the other staff members were very nice

Family came in from out of town, we had Reservations for 6 on Thanksgiving. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. We were seated right away. Our waiter and management did an amazing job. Highly recommend MTM for all celebrations no matter how big or small.

Your salmon dish is amazing. I love the sweetness of the glaze & combined with the vegetables & coconut rice, mmmmm - good. My husband loved his filet & mashed potatoes & our other 2 diners enjoyed their meals as well. At times, our server was difficult to find on a Thursday evening at 6PM. Perhaps that is a busy time but we could have used iced tea refills & drinks from the bar delivered in a more timely manner.

Sat in front of the kitchen, super loud. Ordered ahi tuna pizza, swimming in soy sauce, yuck!

Please if you are going to upsell an appetizer give all info - don’t just say chips, look at the two children with us and then come back with something covered in blue cheese. Your look at our children implies something they will eat - fine me a child who love blue cheese?? I am sure they are hard to find.

Really was just not very good food at all. There were four of us there and only one meal was good. The other 3 where pretty bad. One of the two appetizers we ordered came out cold. I mean I have been in the refrigerator recently cold... not just not hot. Waiter was slow and didnt write anything down so he kept forgetting stuff. For the price there are many other places significantly better I would go to. Doubt I will ever go back.

Matt our server did a good job serving us. We were greeted at the entrance and our reservation was quickly found. We were seated immediately. The food was good, especially the house salad and soup. We had a nice bottle of wine- Joseph Drouhin Chardonnay. The decor is fun and we noted that the company a number of other restaurants in Ohio. For a bite with friends, it is a nice place to stop but would not be a destination for us.

Getting together before going to a concert at the palladium-we had a schedule to keep and it was no problem! Service was terrific; food was awesome. Everyone in our party of 6 had something different and we were all quite happy with our choices. Gluten free options were available with lots of variety.

My wife and I had not been here for the last couple of years and were looking forward to a nice meal. Unfortunately the food has gone downhill since we last ate there. I had the walleye and my wife had shrimp and grits...both dishes were delicious the last time we had them two years ago but now the food was no better than what you might get at a truck stop on I 79...very disappointed.

We made a reservation for four, but were told it was only for two (the open table app said four). They stuck another table next to a table for two to fit us in. The table jutted out into a busy aisle away. I was waiting for a server to bump into us all evening long. Other customers looked at us like we were placed in a strange location. The food was decent and the service was prompt though a bit hurried. We have been to Matt the Millers many times and so this was quite disappointing.

Seated immediately near 5pm. Restaurant was not busy. Once seated, and we were not in a rush given it was date night, we waited 15min for water. We chatted. Waited another 15min for server to return to order wine while multiple four tops were seated around us. Trainee walked over and we requested wine. He quickly stated that he didn’t know how which was fine. Another 10min goes by - I lost patience and we walked out. We saw the waitress once in 25min for water. Had wonderful meal elsewhere and great service. Refuse to pay $100+ on a meal when service is lacking. If you want people to eat there, serve them. Not sure we will return.

Consistently good food & service in a pleasant atmosphere. This is our go to restaurant when we are meeting another couple for dinner. There is a wide variety of food options at varying price levels, along with good beer and drink options, making it enjoyable for all tastes. While always crowded, the sound level in the dining room allows for good conversation over dinner. The bar tends to be more vibrant and louder, but the dining room is pretty quiet.

We have been to Matt the Millers many times. Had a very early reservation and the restaurant was not too busy when we arrived. Took at least 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge that we had been seated at the table. When our appetizers FINALLY arrived (after we asked the waitress to check on them) one of the appetizers was now cold. Once we ordered dinner, took at least another 10 minutes to receive a second beverage and dinner seemed to take forever!!! Our meal was satisfactory but one of our guests didn’t receive part of her meal - so we had to wave down the waitress. Clearly they were short staffed because our waitress seemed to be the only one serving the area we were sitting in. We did try to speak with a manager but could not find one.

Sunday Brunch for this visit. Lots of options along with the mandatory made to order omelette and Belgium Waffle station. Bloody Mary and Coffee bars available for additional cost. We enjoyed the Bloody Mary bar.

We had the brunch buffet last Sunday. We’ve had lunch and dinner there before and we generally liked the food. The service has always been spotty, but acceptable. This time we seem to have hit the jackpot. The quality of the food was terrible and the service was even worst. I doubt we will ever go there for the brunch unless and until management fixes things. There is no reason the food made for the buffet should be so much worst than the rest of the dishes.

Yes but only for lunch. Never go (as we did) for dinner! Food was cold and fish had bones (should have been without bones as we have had many times at other restaurants). Although we did receive gift certificats because of this, we would rather had good food that was delivered hot! Staff seemed overwhelmed by the crowds.

Second time at Matt the Millers Tavern. I really like the ambiance, food and the energy/buzz.
We ordered the flat breads. The margarita and the mushroom flat breads. Both were very good.
I ordered a glass of pinot grigio. The pour looked a little under the 6oz. it was suppose to be. Little pricey on the wine. The service was good. Overall a good experience. Ill be back
