We had such a fantastic meal with excellent service. The food & drinks were all so good!!!!! We were celebrating 3 of our friends Birthdays and we loved our table!!
Best restaurant in Denver! Food is always on point and never disappoints.
It was worth it
Hands down the best Japanese culinary experience. We were celebrating our Anniversary and decided on the Omakase. Genevieve, our server, picked the best suggestions for each course. We will never forget this evening!
Great food, REALLY slow service
Food was exceptional and service was very attentive. I only would have sat farther away from televisions playing football. Would definitely do the omikase again!
Every time we’ve been has been a great experience. Brian took care of us this time and was outstanding. The food is second to none here so we always opt for the wait staff to pick for us and Brian and the chefs did not disappoint! We will continue to come back again and again!
Great food and atmosphere, the service was fantastic.
The food was exceptional and the service was outstanding.
Food great. Service was very slow. It seemed like the issue was the kitchen, not the server. Server was nice.
The cuisine is unbelievably delicious. I had no idea how much difference there is in Japanese restaurants it this one is IT!
Service was a little rushed but a great team of people. I think the rush was due to high demand. Excellent food.
Always a great time!
Our waitress Andi was tremendous and put a wonderful meal together for us.
A great Japanese restaurant. Sumptuous and cozy slice of Tokyo in Denver. One of my favorites and I missed it during the last 18 months. Was able to introduce some friends to Japanese dining and they were impressed. See you again soon!
Amazing as always, everyone was great and so nice.
I was excited to try this place out but the food was average at best and for the price we paid, it was not worth our time.
The food was fantastic. I especially loved the truffle salad. The service was amazing per usual.
What an incredible experience! The food, service, ambiance were all equally outstanding! We had the best service from Jessica and she gave amazing recommendations. We will def be back!
Great Food, Great Service, Great Vibe. Great Location.
A bit too expensive for the total ...
Very good dessert.
Overall good experience but not fantastic.
Service team was very attentive and clearly communicated well. Our food was brought out in a timely manner and every dish was absolutely delightful.
Service was just ok. Had to wait 20 minutes for our table, despite having a reservation, so it's a popular place. The food is so incredible though, as are the drinks. The random tiktok music station was strange, but it really is an amazing place. I'll go back for sure.
Love the tasting menu and trying new dishes. The experience is always amazing!!!
Had our anniversary dinner and the food was delicious. Stand out dishes were the baked crab hand roll and the bento box dessert (best green tea ice cream I’ve ever had). We had a lovely meal but the only down side was the service. Our server was apathetic, for lack of a better word. He barely came by our table and when he was there he was looking around and not really paying attention. He did not ask if I wanted another drink, simply took my glass away and also did not ask if we wanted anything else after we had finished our first round of orders. There were other staff who seemed to pick up the slack but that was a big disappointment.
The Omakase was amazing, as always. Highly recommend!
Amazing per usual
We were disappointed by 2 aspects of our dinner last night:
1 -- The service was so fast and abrupt that we hardly finished the last bite of one course before the next course appeared on the table? There was often no room for the server to put the next plates because we were still eating from the previous ones. I've never felt so rushed, and it was a shame because our friends had come to visit all the way from Hawaii.
2 -- The background music was really intrusive. We couldn't hear our friends across the table, and had to squeeze into the booth seats next to them so we could converse.
If anyone actually reads these comments, please pass them along to the restaurant. The items they address are easily fixable.
Always our favorite spot.
Best Sushi in Denver. Staff and Chefs are amazing!
Great customer service very attentive, very nice presentation, quality of food is excellent!
Wonderful staff and manager, great food!
Alex took great care of us and every course was more delicious than the last! Thank you for a great evening celebrating birthdays and life!
Waiter max was outstanding food was incredible will be back soon!
The fish was very fresh, and tasty. The service was also excellent.
one of the finest dinners ever. food was magnificent. service was perfect. i'll be back.
Love this restaurant! Pricey but worth it.
For my 50th birthday, my boss treated me to a $100 gift card at Matsuhisa. I booked my reservation via the Open Table app and arrived promptly at 5p on the date reserved. The restaurant itself is very attractive and every guest is welcomed enthusiastically - in Japanese. My food was exceptional. I was a bit shocked by the $76 charge for 2 oz. of Wagyu beef, but it is upscale fine dining and I only turn 50 once. The tuna sushi was gloriously fresh. Chef Jason was very kind and professional. Julie is an absolute gem and one of the best I have encountered in the customer service realm. My mushroom soup was perfection. And every meal should be capped off with that magnificent dessert bento box. My God! I highly recommend this special experience and the brilliant Matsuhisa.
Outstanding!! Everything was amazing. Great service, wine list, our server selected everything for us and we enjoyed it all. Pricey but worth it!
