It was very good had been there in a long time enjoyed sitting outside enjoying the beautiful day and a delicious food and good company

Had a GREAT time! (As always) My boyfriend and I enjoyed our food... especially the spinach artichoke dip! Our server was Fabulous and her eye brows were on point!!

Not a bad place for lunch. would like to see more healthy choices.

We did not stay. They refused to serve alcohol to family members in town for a funeral. They are 21 and 25 years old but because their out of state drivers license had a vertical photo they refused to accept the ID. First the manager said it was a law that they could not accept it and when challenged they then changed their reason and said it was corporate policy. Our group left and went to another local restaurant that had no problem accepting g the valid ID.

Food was excellent and fresh!

Nelson was our server. He was excellent. We were celebrating our 35th anniversary. He made us feel so special. Food was excellent as usual. Spacing was great no worries on that end

Jada was excellent in demeanor and timing. She never intruded on our conversations and took care of all our needs.

Excellent food (crab cake meal) and even better service. Great ambiance. Will definitely revisit this location.

Waitress was very good. She was attentive and made sure we were aware of what was happening with our order. She performed her job with excellence.

Family reunion after Covid separation.

Server forgot our request for coffee at length and had to be reminded; no birthday treat; very loud music.

Social distanced. Food was good. Nice to have a place to eat in MoCo.

Our sever forgot about us. Our food took for ever to make it to our table and they did not seem that busy. Maybe they are understaffed but it would have been nice If the server had tried a little harder. We normally go to one Loudoun but now this location is closer. We may drive to Ashburn next time.

Food was way over priced for what you get. I understand restaurants were closed because of Covid bt you should not try and make it up through price gauging for what you receive.

Great waitress and hostess! Unfortunately the clients need to be told to keep their masks on and not get up and go around the restaurant without one...even kids. Made my experience a bit stressful. The avo/crab omelette lacked any seasoning. It was the egg/egg product that was bland to both the taste and the eye. You may want to check that product out as I am sure there are better ones you can use. I love your food so this was surprising. I’ll be back this week for another try though. My friends and I really do love you!!

Terrific service and menu. Excellent everything including drinks, appetizers, and entrees.

Socially distanced and still good. We had multiple waiters making sure that everything was perfect. I miss the vibe from the old set-up (pre-pandemic) but they still have great food and drinks even with capacity limits.

Once again, Matchbox hit a home run. Of course, the meal was delicious. But our waitress was more than fabulous. As busy as she was, she provided perfect customer service, a wonderful personal touch, and a smile that could not be hidden under her mask. You made our day! Thanks!

Outdoor seating, very cold, very little outdoor heating provided.

Thanks to Matchbox for keeping its restaurant open. My wife enjoyed her crab cake and the minestrone soup (they first brought the wrong soup...). I had some tuna tacos and found the tuna largely missing. Then I had a steak-frites and was stunned to see the frites seasoned with parmigiano cheese. The waiter had a hard time opening the bottle of wine and later vanished: one of his colleague came to take out our plates and bring up the cheque. Sorry to say that the dinner was forgettable. I am sure Matchbox can do better in normal times.

Met a friend for lunch and we have a lovely meal on the patio.

Having a reservation did nothing; they sat us at their worst table or we would have had to wait 25 minutes.

We took advantage of the warm temperatures to grad a mid-week meal out. The food and service were great.

The food is always good but the server was rude and impatient.

Great spot for outdoor eating. Staff and managers are well trained and pleasant. The food is always good at this Rockville Matchbox restaurant! Not so much at others. Hope they can get outdoor heaters so I can continue to go as it gets colder!

we were seated immediately and we really enjoyed our food. the risotto was excellent!

It was my birthday and only my 2nd time eating in a restaurant since COVID 19 hit... My pizza could have been hotter but it was good.

Went and needed to sit outside. They had my reservation and I didn't have any problem changing. The waiters were very attentive. They all wore masks and had gloves on.
