I have been dining with you for 30+ years and it justs get better. Front of house is at times a bit rough but I don’t mind. I have introduced many friends to you as well who often say what a gem!!
Dined at Cuisine many times and again it did not disappoint. Food was excellent with wonderful service. Host was pleasant and efficient. Commented to service staff about beautiful napkin folding (looked like a Christmas tree) and server offered to show us how it was done as well as another fold option. Also, had the tropical fruit dome dessert with pineapple sorbet. The sorbet was SO good, my friend asked for a pint to take home and they happily obliged. Will be back again soon!
The steak was perfect, and the service was excellent.
This is a Student run Restaurant and menus are designed and tested by students. Everything was great. Menus changes each time the restaurant opens for a run of two days. The big winners this trip were the Arugula salad and the Korean Meatloaf with Kimchi which was a small plate. Would love to see it as an entre someday on the menu. One of Milwaukee's best kept secrets!
Great food and great service. Will be going again. The ambiance was great and servers were great too.

Everything was wonderful with the exception that my entree came out lukewarm. I let the wait staff know and they in turn let in the House Front Manager know. Everyone that I mentioned this to was extremely apologetic.
I made sure when stating this I started out with the positive the the food was delicious. This is why the food only received a 4 star rating.
I was able to talk to each of the wait staff since I was extremely interested in know what they wanted to do with their degrees. What a fantastic learning experience for all of the students.
Anna did a nice job serving us. My sister's salmon was very good. My lamb chop was good, but the braised lamb was flavorless.
This is my second visit to the MATC Cuisine restaurant. I must say, everyone is extremely friendly and courteous. The sirloin steak was wonderful as was the salad and dessert! Hard to believe these are student chefs!
Three of us enjoyed lunch at Cuisine MATC Restaurant in celebration of a 65th birthday. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. He was somewhat attentive, but we often had to wait for quite some time to find him and get his attention. All three of us ordered the top sirloin with mashed potatoes, a brown sauce and a spinach and red pepper vegetable. I ordered my steak medium. It was perfectly prepared and the spinach vegetable side was excellent. My steak was a bit tough. The shrimp bisque soup was outstanding. Both of my friends ordered their steak medium rare. One was prepared nicely, and she was delighted with her entree. Our other friend got her steak, and instead of medium rare, it was medium to medium well. She could not find our server but was able to get the attention of a supervisor. He took the steak back to the kitchen to have a new entree prepared. After waiting for at least 15-20 minutes, the second steak was brought to her. This steak bordered on well done and the spinach side was lacking the peppers. Again we were unable to locate our server. The supervisor/manager appeared again, and he agreed that the steak was improperly prepared. I will say that he made right with us on our tab. While I realize that the chefs and servers are students, it seems that they should be able get a medium rare steak properly cooked or at least close on the second try. Having said all of this, we all agreed that we will go again. The desserts we ordered were delicious. It is a nice place to enjoy lunch if you understand that mistakes will occur with these students.
This teaching restaurant offers great food options that you don't always see and offers up a good environment to enjoy it in.

We have been several times to Cuisine, part of the MATC culinary school. Never disappointed, a varied choice of high class food,consistently done well. A very comfortable setting, one can actually carry on a conversation at a normal tone. Friendly staff and students, they try hard to please. Very reasonable prices for the quality of food. Always an enjoyable time. Wwe’ll be back!
I have been there many times. The food and service are always excellent, and it is always fun to talk with the students about their future plans.

Love the Cuisine. Celebrated the end of Upholstery class with classmates (two hadn't been to the Cuisine before). Had an excellent dinner and time.
I ordered the sirloin cooked rare. It was perfect. They believe you when you say rare. I also ordered a Malbec wine which was very good. Love that the vegetable preparation is always special and not just an afterthought to fill the place. Cheesecake was excellent as well.
What a great opportunity to get a table at The Cuisine Restaurant. It's on the first floor of MATC and it is staffed by students in the Culinary Program. The menu is creative and different each week. They focus on use local ingredients as much as possible and build the meals based on what's available. I visited the week when Lamb was the star of the meal. I was delighted with the Lamb Plate with two offerings. BraisedLamb Roast and a Lamb Chop with a delicate Mashed Potato Dish. I chose a Lovely Spring Salad and the Fresh Baked Bread was a beautiful way to start the meal. My daughter chose Lamb Cigars for her entree and was glad to find her appetizer stuffed with Roasted Lamb in a Flaky Buttery Crust. She also enjoyed the Hangar Steak cooked to her request. On a recent visit, we ordered Christmas Beet Soup just to see what it was like. We were elated with the velvety smooth rich red Roasted Beet Soup with a drizzle of Creme Fresh. We were so visibly impressed with the beautiful presentation and the hint of cinnamon that we identified as we were trying to figure out the secret of this lovely gift. The Restaurant is only open during the school year a few days a week and you need a reservation as they are often filled over the Lunch Hour that they are open. I've been bringing friends and family to this neat little Eatery for over a decade and it just gets better and better.
I did not know that MATC had a restaurant where students could get training in the Culinary Arts. That intrigued me. Then I saw that they were serving lamb which I had never tried. So I invited a friend to have lunch with me. The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful. We had good food and a good time! What a wonderful program MATC has!

Food is extraordinary. Atmosphere is classy, despite being an actual classroom. Service is sincere. Remember, these are students. Slightly nervous, but they put their heart into it. Presentation is first rate. And, they validate parking in the Bradley Center ramp across the street (with a sky walk between buildings). This is one of Milwaukee's Best Kept Secrets!
I've heard of this MATC treasure from friends for the past several years, and finally tried it. The food was impeccable: fresh ingredients, well prepared, exquisitely presented. The flavors were spot on and complimentary. A delicious dining experience I will repeat.

First time eating here, food and service were excellent . We had the corn and seafood soup, salad and prime rib. All were the best I have had in years. Meets or exceeds the quality I have received at Bartolota's . The students are really focused and professional, working hard to learn and please the customer. I will definitely return.

OVERALL THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. I HAD THE SEA BASS, IT HAD A NUMBER OF BONES. I'VE NEVER BEFORE EXPERIENCED BONES IN SEA BASS.
Food is always great here. The service is slow because it is a training restaurant. I wonder if it is possible to have a process to speed it up thought as for lunch many people have to go back to work.
Food was outstanding. I especially liked the vegetable side with squash and parsnips. Students were friendly and eager to talk about preparations. Keep up the good work!

This was an experience. We were super impressed by all the young people who were hustling. Our server was very new and we really gave her a challenge. She was such a super gal trying to make us happy. God bless the students who are really going to be successful in their careers and their teachers. Excellent food. This is such a great place.
