I did not know that MATC had a restaurant where students could get training in the Culinary Arts. That intrigued me. Then I saw that they were serving lamb which I had never tried. So I invited a friend to have lunch with me. The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful. We had good food and a good time! What a wonderful program MATC has!

Food is extraordinary. Atmosphere is classy, despite being an actual classroom. Service is sincere. Remember, these are students. Slightly nervous, but they put their heart into it. Presentation is first rate. And, they validate parking in the Bradley Center ramp across the street (with a sky walk between buildings). This is one of Milwaukee's Best Kept Secrets!
I've heard of this MATC treasure from friends for the past several years, and finally tried it. The food was impeccable: fresh ingredients, well prepared, exquisitely presented. The flavors were spot on and complimentary. A delicious dining experience I will repeat.

First time eating here, food and service were excellent . We had the corn and seafood soup, salad and prime rib. All were the best I have had in years. Meets or exceeds the quality I have received at Bartolota's . The students are really focused and professional, working hard to learn and please the customer. I will definitely return.

OVERALL THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. I HAD THE SEA BASS, IT HAD A NUMBER OF BONES. I'VE NEVER BEFORE EXPERIENCED BONES IN SEA BASS.
Food is always great here. The service is slow because it is a training restaurant. I wonder if it is possible to have a process to speed it up thought as for lunch many people have to go back to work.
Food was outstanding. I especially liked the vegetable side with squash and parsnips. Students were friendly and eager to talk about preparations. Keep up the good work!

This was an experience. We were super impressed by all the young people who were hustling. Our server was very new and we really gave her a challenge. She was such a super gal trying to make us happy. God bless the students who are really going to be successful in their careers and their teachers. Excellent food. This is such a great place.
The Cuisine restaurant on the MATC campus is a secret gem. The food was out of this world and beautifully presented...service excellent...our young man Matt a pleasure to talk with about his schooling experience. If you are looking for a special lunch - I took my friend for her birthday - don't hesitate to make a reservation and you will have a fabulous meal to remember!
Food as usual was very good. Service was a bit off, perhaps because of the beginning of the new semester.
I was very impressed by the professionalism of the waitstaff and the appearance/taste of the food. My daughter is in the MATC culinary arts program and I think Cuisine offers students a good opportunity to learn and practice their restaurant skills.

The food was wonderful, especially the small plates. I very much enjoyed the braised beef spring rolls.
From a good soup, fhrough a delicious entre of plump tender octopus over tasty pollenta with excellent accompanying vegetables, to a concluding superb innovative dessert, our experience could nor have been nore enjoyable! And—in a most appreciated low level, but not dead, sound atmosphere, inviting natural conversation! How rare these days! A great comfortable value packed high level dining experience, indeed.
The food was wonderful; however, I think because it was the first service of the second part of the semester, the service was poor. We also thought a few students didn't come in on Thursday.

Great food. Very freshly made. The main dish has a good portion, not too big, just enough. The desert portion however is too huge. Service was poor. The service screw did not work well together. They never came back to our table to ask if we needed any help. They did not even look into our direction even that we signaled that we need something.

Lunch was wonderful as usual. It was "Porkfest Week" and we were surprised by some of the creative menu selections. The Ham Croquettes were outstanding and were reminiscent of classic French cuisine. My Pork Chop was grilled to perfection, and the desserts were incredible.
I absolutely love this place. I have never had a bad experience and the food is always delicious.
I try to eat there at least once or twice a semester. I have never been disappointed in my meal. I am retired and I always meet a former co-worker and it's our way of staying connected.

This is a culinary school restaurant. Dishes were elegant and delicious. Students were also the wait staff. Plan to spend an hour or more. Enjoyed being able to watch the students prepare meals on a big screen.

It is first and foremost a teaching lab, but under the tutelage of their instructors are producing some of the best food in Milwaukee
I took my husband to Cuisine Restarant for a lunch date. He was skeptical - until we experienced the surroundings and the excellent meal! I am a graduate of MATC, and this was
something I had wanted to do for over 20 years. I was very pleasantly surprised to see the new ground floor location and decor. The food was wonderful, and the service left nothing to be desired. I have told co-workers and friends about our experience. We look forward to our next visit.
The food is fresh, prepared when ordered, and delicious. The selection is great and the decor soothing and quite with low playing music. Students prepare delicious meals with the guidance of their instructor who ensures attendtion detail.
I have never had a bad meal at Cuisine. this is the best kept secret in Milwaukee! the food is wonderful, right size portions for lunch, reasonably priced. Selections are limited to a few entrees, but there is something for everyone! Shrimp bisque soup is outstanding - the best I have ever had. Meat is always tender. Fish is always fresh. Desserts - we always order one more than our party size and share them at the table. It is a perfect spot for lunch (not open for dinner). I would give it a 50 on a 10 point scale! Hats off to the chef and his students for preparing such elegant meals!
I have been here many times and have never been disappointed. The food is great with excellent presentation and is a great value.
Gregory our server was a very nice gentleman with a plan for retirement. I was impressed with his drive. Food was excellent as usual. Unfortunately a whole group of seniors came that day and it was very very busy and loud. Oh well just lucky I guess.
We have dined at Cuisine several times, and totally enjoyed the experience. This time, our wait person was attentive, but not knowledgeable, and had a bit of a memory problem. Couldn't read his own handwriting, had to check back to confirm he got the order correct, was not attentive with coffee or iced tea refills. Did correctly give the kitchen direction on my salad order (no frisee, beets on the side).
The biggest disappointment was the small plate that my friend ordered. She ordered prosciutto wrapped chicken, but buried in the description was the word "terrine". An astute server would have known the menu, and when she ordered prosciutto wrapped chicken would have asked if she realized that it would be a terrine. I think the description of the dish should have been "terrine of prosciutto wrapped chicken" so that a customer would know what they were getting.
Great food and service as always. Brought a friend who did not know about the restaurant. She was "wowed" and is spreading news about her secret find to all her friends.
