Short ribs were excellent. Surprised both steak and short ribs were served exactly the same. Soup was bland but salad looked good. Dessert was excellent.

We've been to MATC for lunch several times. We've never been disappointed. We're seniors, and prefer to go for an elegant lunch vs. dinner; as such, we've enjoyed the cuisine at MATC. Thank you, students at MATC.

Cuisine is such a treasure, I love going there for lunch. They always offer a nice variety of menu options and the food is delicious! They also knock it out of the park on presentation and service. It's easy to tell that everyone wants to do a great job. Plus, it's always interesting o speak with the students about their learning process and career plans. I have introduced many friends and family to Cuisine and they've since become equally devoted. Cuisine is my favorite downtown restaurant.

The culinary program at MATC has continued its degree excellence throughout the years. What a gem Cuisine is!! Stop saying the food is prepared by students because I don't believe it! 🙂 Although you could tell there was some nervousness in service, it was fabulous! The plating was superb! The corn soup was soothing and hearty. Temperature of my beef was perfect. Nice crunchy broccolini. Creamy mashed potatoes. The . I'm running out of positive adjectives, so suffice to say a 10 from me!

Our appetizer portions were generous! (Delicious mixed greens salad & prosciutto flatbread). Entrees: duck leg was moist and perfectly cooked. Sirloin was tender and cooked medium. Desserts: kitchen was out of sour cherry sorbet (disappointing) but the raspberry was delicious. The peanut butter/chocolate dome was large & rich enough to share. Floor staff were the best we've ever had. Personable and helpful, well-groomed and efficient. Thanks for another great dining experience!

One of the best kept secrets in Milwaukee. Service is a little slower than a regular restaurant but that's because the students are in training. It is well worth a little wait. The food is always delicious and a good value for the price.

The food was served at the right temperature and fresh. I ate bass with sauteed baby bok choy and water chestnuts and thai curry rice. The bok choy might have been a little overcooked, but not by much. Every flavor came through and was delicious and well-blended with the other flavors. Good meal planning! The bass had a light breading - perfect. There was a full plate of food - good value. What can I say about the dessert? I love sweets. But this was as eye-appealing as delicious. It was chocolate dome. The lightly toasted pecans with light caramel sauce and chocolate streusel was excellent. I should have taken a picture, since I've never seen such a beautiful dessert.

This bothers me at a lot of restaurants - when serving the next course, please remove the previous course dishes FIRST, then serve the next course. I am not sure what they teach and I know it will take some additional time, but having the patron make room or lift their plate for the next course is really not acceptable. I might as well buss my own table then. I do enjoy seeing the next generation of chefs/servers and whole heartily support the program!

I enjoyed watching my granddaughter and her class cook. It was nice seeing how the kitchen really works versus on tv. Definitely will be back again. Food was really good and had really great service Micah our waiter was really nice and made me and my daughter patti feel welcomed. He was every nice and helpful and made sure everything was good.

They consistently top the previous visit...who’s is tough to do. I gorge myself on their delicious breads then have to bring home part of the entree. Special touches such as a complimentary canapé, parking validation, etc don’t hurt by any means. Have to mention Service shows great training is in place, but this week was looked after by Lowanda with exemplary attentiveness to timing, add to order, etc. , most pleasant. Dessert was to die for as well. If one can’t find something enticing on their changing menu, then I’d truly be amazed.

Every bite was delicious. The student server was delightful and knowledgable, and the manager/faculty on duty was enthusiastic and informative about the culinary program at MATC. We made another reservation on our way out.

It is a real treat to go to Cuisine........we don't just recommend the restaurant to family and friends, we take them and buy their lunch and they are always pleased. The food is always good and there are plenty of choices. The servers are well trained and pay attention to details. I also enjoy when the instructors come around and talk with us. It’s a little unfair to compare this restaurant to a typical business, but their food is top notch, so that’s worth celebrating. Otherwise, the front of the house, including waitstaff and ambiance is very much a work in progress or outwardly academic. Overall, as long as you go in with reasonable expectations, this is a great experience.
