My fav restaurant in Miami. Every dish was beyond delicious. Our server Michael was wonderful. Gorgeous atmosphere. Matador Room never disappoints.
Food was okay. Waiter was terrible. Beautiful views and ambiance, but saw a huge mouse running everywhere.

First, I must say the food was excellent however, the timing of the kitchen was dreadful. In an upscale restaurant like this, there is no excuse for a hot appetizer to arrive 10 minutes before a cold appetizer (pre-cut jamon iberico) to show up. The jamon appetizer was suppose to include bread. When I asked the waiter, he brought a dish of excellent olive oil with bread STRAIGHT from the refrigerator (ice cold)!
If you place a bottle if wine 20 feet away on a table, the staff better make sure that the glasses of the diners don't sit empty for 5-10 minutes every time a glass needs re-filling but, waiter pulled a disappearing act over and over again. The entrees again arrived one at a time (my lobster dish arrived about 3-4 minutes before my wife's red snapper entree). All in all, tasty dishes however, poor, uncaring service made it a forgettable night. Not a Jean-Georges quality restaurant.
Absolutely loved everything on the menu especially the unique arroz con pollo. Food and drinks were amazing. The charcuterie board was a bit of a disappointment but everything else was great! Amazing atmosphere.

Service was incredible from arrival until departure. We ate on the terrace and it was lovely. We each ordered specialty cocktails and could not have been more pleased with the taste and quality of our drinks. We shared a charcuterie board, and although it was a bit smaller than expected, the meats and cheeses were great. Ordered a variety of the tacos on the menu and very pleased with those as well. Highly recommend Matador Room.

We expected to have a Jean George culinary experience and his brilliance was nowhere to be found. The menu and food was ordinary.
You won’t be disappointed here! From the ambiance, to the service to the food and drinks, everything is perfect! This is my most fav restaurant for food. Their flavours are bang on. Dishes you must try- raw shaved snapper, tuna tartare (add the hot sauce to this) octopus, arroz con pollo. For food alone, you will fall in love. But on top of that, the ambiance and service is top notch.

Fabulous Spanish. Great sharing plates. You can spend a lot or keep it moderate. A gem on mid beach and beautiful location.
The truffle and fontina pizza is incredible. Great experience
Terrible waiter and service. Never checked in with us. No food was delivered for hours. Waiter was rude several times. Spend $ 1700 on dinner. Good food and ambiance ; however overall a terrible experience because of that waiter.

Loved our meal - our waiter was great. We also loved Elizabeth!!!
Love the look of the place. 200 dollar each person for Christmas was DEFINITELY OVERRATED AND UNNECESSARY. Waitress was sick and burped next to my ear while serving.
The ambience was just gorgeous!! The atmosphere was very serene. We sat outdoors.
Service was great. Food was served with perfect timing. Presentation was great. Great all around.
Make sure you try the truffle pizza and octopus VERY GOOD.

We had our honeymoon dinner at Matador Room last night and we were greeted with beautiful complimentary glasses of champagne, impeccable service, and delicious food/drinks. Our waiter was especially pleasant and knowledgeable! We had an amazing time and will be sure to return the next time we are in Miami.

Horrible service we stayed with dirty plates and table the whole time the food is good but super overpriced not what is used to be . Disappointed!
Food was lovely and well-prepared. Service was lacking. We had to ask for utensils after the fist course was served. Water glasses went un-filled - all surprising, since it wasn’t busy at 3:30pm on Saturday and there was plenty of wait staff wondering around with not much to do.
Our server did not tell us the kitchen was closing and we weren’t able order entrees. We did not receive 2 of our orders of appetizers
Went there for my birthday! Service was great until the room got busy! There was only one waiter! He was very nice though! The waiter recommended the crispy arroz con pollo! I didn’t care for it! Too much rice not enough chicken to me. Guess the crispy was the skin? Yikes! The guacamole with peas was excellent and the grouper taco! I got a free dessert for my birthday! They didn’t push the 1 hour 45 minute alloyed time to eat… thought it a todo rule any.

Choice of indoor and outdoor spaces. Elegant decor. Superb servers including Juan, a bright young Venezuelan, and Elizabeth from Guyana, the grand dame of this chic restaurant.
The meal here should be shared around the table, tapas style. Every dish was tasty. Our entire group of 4 particularly enjoyed the maiitake mushrooms. A selection of tropical sangrias and cocktails are available.
Be aware that, due to the ambience, personalized service, and refined cuisine of this high-end restaurant, the bill is not cheap. An 18% service charge is included in the total.
I dined here with my boyfriend for our anniversary as we were visiting Miami for a few days. Upon entrance, there was a beautiful lounge/bar area before heading up to the host desk. As you peered into the dining area, you could see the sunken inner dining section surrounded by the outer rim. We sat on the outer rim of the indoor section which was lovely as we had some privacy. The music was at a moderate volume and was pleasant for conversation. The food itself was very nice - we had the nachos with guacamole, everything calamari, rib eye for two (absolutely amazing) and had tres leches to go. Our server was also very lovely and snuck in extra cookies with our to go :)
I’ve been going to the edition many times over the year even have been a guest at the hotel it’s usually incredible place to have breakfast the host was hung over and even told us so
And took her a while just to find a reservation
The food was cold the order was wrong the waitress was horrifically in attentive, I asked the bus boy three different times plainly and kindly as one can possibly ask to have a refill of coffee he never made it happen, The waitress gave us the wrong check!! UUGH UUGH
The menu has been reduced and became a shadow of its former glory. What is absolutely unforgivable is that they try to dupe their (less discerning) clients by offering them Cinco Jotas Jamon Iberico on the menu and then placing a third rate Publix-grade cheap prosciutto on the table.
I consider this nothing short of scandalous - a sign of profoundly dishonest chef and management team.
Unfortunately for the Matador Room i came with a group of very discerning business people who immediately knew what they were getting.
This was my favorite restaurant in Miami before the pandemic - now i have to tell you all that besides beautiful setting and an undiscerning extravagant crowd you are missing absolutely nothing. Miami is just getting worse...
Exceptional food for sharing tapas style. I was with a larger group which was easily accommodated outside, but in addition there were many romantic tables for two. I only give four stars due to service being a touch sporadic, but it was still reasonably attentive. The interiors and exteriors of the reasturant are both outstanding,

Outstanding international guest experience under a canopy of staghorn ferns. So grateful for feeling like I belong.
Waiter was good but otherwise service was terrible. I asked them to put a candle for my wife cake and they forgot. Won’t be coming back here.
