   Service was on point. Pizza and Sea Bass were excellent as well. A bit pricey but not unexpected for a Five Star hotel. We enjoyed our experience.

   Maria and the whole staff were absolutely outstanding. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the states. We visit whenever in Miami. Kuddos to the whole staff and kitchen. Wonderful experience.

   Maria provided exceptional service. Dinner here was our best restaurant experience from when we were in Miami. Can’t wait to go back.

   We were a party of two and asked to sit outside and they told us we'd have to wait 15 minutes, which was fine. When we got outside there were no less than 5 open tables for two. Why did we have to wait 15 minutes? The $42 Arroz con Pollo was highly recommended by our server. It was basically just rice and there was little to no chicken in it. Bad value, bad recommendation. We liked the atmosphere, but there was loud music blasting from the hotel next door. I would come here again and recommend the restaurant as the other food was good and it's beautiful, but not the greatest experience.

   The set I e was disgraceful. Think being out in a seat told there was. I other then when I complained I was moved. Place never more than 50% busy anyway! Them 30 minutes before being served when seated them mix up and delays with food. People trying hard but with zero understanding of how to serve in a place like this. So disappointing and then food at next average not good or great.

   I’m a regular here and always have a great experience. But last night was a cut above. Our server Maggie was excellent. She was polite, funny, engaging, and created a great experience for us, all while training someone else. Maggie was excellent! The sever assistants were also amazing. Very funny and also engaging. And always at the ready whenever we needed something, just like Maggie. I also had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Wendy. Stellar manager. I can see why Maggie and the crew are so great. Wendy leads by example and runs a great team. The Matador is one of my favorite restaurant experiences in Miami. Excellent food to go with amazing drinks and wonderful service. Don’t miss out on getting a table. Whether you sit inside or out, the decor, people and atmosphere are amazing. You won’t regret it. Thanks Maggie and Wendy!

   I am a frequent guest at the Miami Beach Edition so trips to the Matador Room for either drinks or dinner have become one of my favorite parts of any visit. The food is always spectacular and the staff is wonderful. Some nights, I eat on the terrace alone when I am traveling for work, but have dined indoors in the dining room as well multiple times and have always enjoyed both experiences immensely. Menu favorites (I am a pescatarian for context) always include: the Maitake Mushroom appetizer, the Crunchy potato nuggets, the Wild Gulf Shrimp in chili oil, the Charred Octopus, the Whole Roasted Cauliflower, the Seared Snapper, and the Potato Puree with queso fresco although it is difficult to find a bad meal here. I also am a big fan of their cocktail menu which you can get at the bar or in the dining room. The cucumber martini and matador mule with hibiscus are two of my favorites (if you choose to sit at the bar you won't be disappointed as the bartenders/team are superb)

   Beyond amazing experience at Matador. From the service to the food - it did not disappoint. The little details did not go unnoticed provided by Philip our service and the rest of the staff.
