Join Chef Massimo for an artful blend of Italian and Mediterranean cuisines paired with an award winning wine list and full bar.
Appetizers range from Hudson Valley Grade-A Foie Gras, Pistachio coated Pan Seared Duck and Brie to Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and rice flour battered calamari. A rich, creamy lobster bisque is a favorite among customers.
Other specialties include Veal Cognac in a creamy truffle sauce, veal chop, sweetbreads, risotto and Chilean Sea Bass.
Last, but not least, are the homemade delectable desserts.
Complementing his efforts in the kitchen is the gracious, knowledgeable and efficient staff.

Another wonderful meal at Massimo’s. We had the seared tuna loin which was perfectly prepared and the daily special of porcini mushroom ravioli in the best Alfredo sauce I’ve ever had. For dessert we finished with our favorite apple strudel and a slice of super soft and rich chocolate raspberry cake that was a special for Valentine’s week.

called 1/2 hr before reservation time with a last minute guest pushing from 2 to 3...there was no problem; they graciously provided additional always a wonderful evening !

The very finest Italian restaurant in Clearwater/North Pinellas. Outstanding wine selection...well beyond what one might anticipate for such a small restaurant. Personal visit from Massimo to every diner. This is my “go to” restaurant for an always pleasing meal.

We advised at the time of the res we were celebrating our 42nd anniversary. We were given a nice table by the waterfall feature; however, that's where any special attention ended. Our drink order was not taken for 15 minutes. Our waitress inadvertently laid down the wine list on an adjacent table. It was a Tuesday night so the lackadaisical service wasn't a result of being very busy. The food was not what I expected after good comments we read online. My husband's rack of lamb was perfect but my veal scalopini had a flour coating that was pasty. I was told I would get pasta with it and instead received mashed potatoes. When I questioned the waitress she insisted she had said potatoes. I wasn't going to argue. She should have been all over making it right. Our friend's lobster/crab entree had very little lobster. No offer of a complimentary dessert for our anniversary just topped our feeling of an uneventful night. Sorry, we weren't made to feel special.

We have eaten here on several occasions and always enjoyed our meals. This was the first time that we had a problem with a meal. My husband said his steak tasted like the meat was bad. I smelled it and it smelled sour. I wasn't sure if it was the meat or the sauce. Anyway, my husband, who never complains or sends food back, sent it back and asked them to check the steak. They were very apologetic, offered him another meal, and ended up removing his meal from the final bill. Everyone can have an off night I suppose. I felt bad because it was my husband's birthday and we like to celebrate there. This will not stop me from returning.

Wonderful dining experience. Celebrating our friends anniversary and a birthday. Atmosphere was great as was the service and the food. Bertrand, our waiter, was excellent. All four of us tried something different: Rack of lamb, lobster ravioli, orange duck and a seafood risotto. All delicious as was the lobster bisque and salads. And, as usual, the chef came by to see if all was to our liking...and it was. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

This was not our first trip to this restaurant. It is such a special place to celebrate special events. The food was excellent, the service wonderful and just being there with someone special made my birthday very happy. This is a gem of a place and I can hardly wait to return..

This was our third visit and once again we had a delicious meal. We had one of the specials and one item off the menu, plus an appetizers. Everything was excellent. Service is very good. The only caveat is the wine list. Most of the wines are very expensive; it would be nice if there were more choices at more reasonable prices.

We came to celebrate our New Years Anniversary. It was a small menu but still had many choices. Our server was amazing and every food course was delicious. My husband had the King Salmon which he absolutely loved and I had a perfectly prepared filet mignon. There is an extensive wine list. We will definitely be back.

Food was ok, not great. The duck was very good, fish very sauced and veggies were soft. Crab cake was average, Ceasar Salad average. Nothing notable. Restaurant gave us a card for our anniversary which was thoughtful. Will not return.

One of the best, if not the best restaurants, in the Clearwater area. It is very impressive when the chef and owner comes out to check on each table. We love this restaurant.

Fine dining in off the beaten path location leads to better ability to get reservations, and less crowding and noise. All of our meals were excellent. My friend likes duck and said his was one of the best he has had. I had veal scallopini and it was presented well and had great flavor and temperature. Wives had rack of lamb which was also very good. Service was very good and Chef Massimo came to all tables to schmooze and answer any questions

I have been here for lunch a few times but never dinner. The service was timed well but not intrusive. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The chef came out and seemed genuinely interested in our experience. We will certainly be back for special occasions.

I will preface this review that our standards have been skewed after living and eating in New Orleans. However, this is one of the better restaurants in the local Clearwater/Palm Harbor area. The appetizers were very good (riced flower calamari) and excellent (maple leaf duck and brie). If you stick to the regular menu, the prices are VERY reasonable for what you're getting. On the other hand, we heard that the specials are where you get the best of what the Chef has to offer at the moment. The only drawback is that the specials jumped from $20-30 for main entree up to $40-50. One of us had the veal chop which was very good ($47 I believe?) and the other had the lamb rack (regular menu), which was very good as well. The rest of the specials all sounded awesome and we would have been happy with almost anything on the regular menu. The server was very attentive but not to the point of annoyance- which was appreciated. One other thing to note is that although we weren't in a rush nor did we ever feel that from the staff, we were in and out of there within an hour- that's appetizer, drink, main course, and dessert. Granted, it wasn't terribly busy. With all the strip-mall, commercialized, run-of-the-mill food spots up and down Hwy 19, it's refreshing to have some real quality dining nestled in.
