Masseria dei Vini
Restauranteur Pino Coladonato, Peppe Iuele and Enzo Ruggiero have teamed up again with Interior Designer Libby Langdon, bringing you a modern update version of "Masseria". In the region of Puglia, in South Italy, Masseria were Fortified Farmhouses, and many of them now have been transformed into Restaurants or Hotels.
Executive Chef Pino Coladonato, native of Rutigliano (Bari), has created a menu that blends traditional with modern without overpowering one or the other.
The Menu features typical dishes from Puglia, such as "Crudo", the Italian word for "Raw", made with fish and shellfish, a lot of fresh homemade pastas and Ravioli.
The menu also offers Gourmet Pizza Neapolitan style.
The Restaurant offers an extensive wine by the glass program and a large selection of wine bottles, mainly from Italy, but without ignoring the rest of the world.
Girls trip to NYC
Wonderful evening. The specials were terridic
The server had a perfect wine recommendation for us. Much appreciated given all the choices.
Solid Italian restaurant. Woke up the next morning still thinking about the food. Will definitely be back.
True Italian pasta, good cost benefit
Never disappointed with Masseria dei Vini. Excellent service, efficient without rushing you. varied menu well prepared.
This is a top italian restaurant in NY. Combination of classic dishes and good variety of specials. Service is excellent. Its a go- to location.
Great food but costly. Good for a special occasion.
Fabulous food! Fabulous service!
Finally got to try this rest and I wasn’t disappointed! It is def a cut above most Italian rest. Hits were the truffle pizza and pork in truffle sauce. Service was great! My only complaint was that they wouldn’t let me sit at a table I liked because it was reserved for a regular customer. That customer never showed up. But I def will return
The food was good but not extraordinary. We don’t drink wine, which probably this restaurant is know for, judging by the wine bottles decor. The prices on line are different than at the restaurant which was much higher.
Service though was excellent. But for that price I have better Resteurants to go to.
Tutto perfetto con un accoglienza speciale da parte di Andrea
Great food! Great atmosphere! We had a wonderful time! Would highly recommend and would love to visit again!
Great food with excellent wine choice. Reasonably priced.
Always enjoy this amazing restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is impeccable. A fantastic varied menu and extensive wine list. Highly recommend.
Excellent food and service. Great selection. A must on your list.
The BEST dinner. The best Bolognese we’ve ever had. So happy we tried this restaurant. Next time we are in NYC, we will be back.
Had a great meal with the family before a show. Food was delicious and service was warm and professional. We will be back!
Great authentic Italian food with a phenomenal selection of wines. Place is full so be sure to reserve your table. I noticed tables for 2,4,6 to 12 .
Nice crowd with an Italian feel. All are welcome and the Ambiance is friendly.
only complain - it was very warm at the restaurant
You might not notice this restaurant on West 58 st from the street but inside it’s framed by a beautifully lighted wine wall. The service was excellent and the food was delicious there were 4 of us and everyone thought their choice was delicious. A bit pricey but well worth it.
Amazing!!! This resto is one of kind. They have great service, great menu, great ambiance. Definitely would come here again!
Attentive waiters and delicious food. Would thoroughly recommend!
Everything was superb, from start to finish! Excellent service, delicious food, wonderful ambience. We will definitely return!
We had a great dining experience. The food is superb, the service was impeccable &tge atmosphere pleasant. Definitely will return.
Consistently excellent food and service keep us returning to this restaurant.
Service was good, but food was average. Nothing we ate was great! With so many other restaurants in NY I would not return here. The agnolotti entree was unbelievably bland.
Always a great dining experience
I felt that the atmosphere is pleasant but it seemed overpriced when I paid 5and a bit too loud
Another fine pre-theater meal here. Four of us had two different pasta dishes, the black truffle pizza and a shrimp dish. All were excellent. Attentive, professional service, good advice about wine, and we left with plenty of time to make our curtain.
Very accommodating. Food and service were great and we were out on time for our show! Wine was a bit marked up, but overall was a good experience, we will return!
Good food and service but due to the high noise level of 'conversation' from guests at other tables this detracted from our enjoyment of the dining experience.
Masseria dei Vini is always reliable with excellent service. Perfect spot for dinner before theatre or Lincoln Center.
Given the part of town it looks more modern but food is sub par and overpriced.
The food is really good, and you pretty much can't go wrong with what you order. Service is attentive. Just be prepared to spend a lot of money. Pastas start at over $20 (tomato sauce) and mostly go over $30. Fish and meat are also pricey. Their wine list is huge, with few low-priced bottles. But give it a try if you don't mind spending the money.
We had a party of 5 for dinner. Lovely round table in a very crowded dining area. The staff & servers were all very welcoming. Menu selection was vast, which gave everyone a lot of choices. We all had different apps. & entrees. And all 5 diners agreed the food was very good.
Only recommend for special occasions as it is very expensive
Noisy - we were given a table for 2 at the far end of the restaurant next to the bathrooms and the server station, so a lot of traffic. We made a special request since it was an anniversary mind you. Price for pizza at $30 and pasta at $30 is on the high side, especially when the pasta came out in under 5 minutes and the tagliatelle were all congealed to each other. The service was good but everything else makes it a not so memorable experience, being a New Yorker there are better restaurants to go to.
