Masseria dei Vini
Restauranteur Pino Coladonato, Peppe Iuele and Enzo Ruggiero have teamed up again with Interior Designer Libby Langdon, bringing you a modern update version of "Masseria". In the region of Puglia, in South Italy, Masseria were Fortified Farmhouses, and many of them now have been transformed into Restaurants or Hotels.
Executive Chef Pino Coladonato, native of Rutigliano (Bari), has created a menu that blends traditional with modern without overpowering one or the other.
The Menu features typical dishes from Puglia, such as "Crudo", the Italian word for "Raw", made with fish and shellfish, a lot of fresh homemade pastas and Ravioli.
The menu also offers Gourmet Pizza Neapolitan style.
The Restaurant offers an extensive wine by the glass program and a large selection of wine bottles, mainly from Italy, but without ignoring the rest of the world.

Ravioli Di Angelina
home made fresh caciotta cheese ravioli in a light tomato sauce capri style
Due to the pandemic and working from home, I hadn't been to Masseria deli Vini in more than a year and a half. Great to know that the restaurant hasn't lost its luster: attentive service, delicious food, lovely ambiance. My friend and I had a wonderful dinner.
Enoyable to dine at this fine establishment, especially after the pandemic pause, and the restaurant week lunch menu suited me just fine.
Good setting for a business meal near Columbus Circle
perfect dinner spot with great service and delicious Italian food!
A most horrible experience. We went to celebrate our anniversary and got seated next to a crying infant and toddler with stroller and all. This was the farthest from a romantic dinning experience at 9pm. Whoever wrote the article listing restaurant as a NYC romantic option, should reconsider review. Manager and Waiter attempted to address situation which was chaotic but it was a bit too late. We ordered a bottle of Veuve Clicquot, drank one glass, paid and left. Other patrons did as well. Restaurant should define if they want to be known as a family or romantic option. Not both.
Food was very good, service was too fast and while I loved seeing a full restaurant and an Energetic environment it was very loud hard to have a conversation!
Exceptional restaurant, one of my favorites in the city. Haven't been there since covid started and I thought the menu was more restricted than it used to be. Construction in front of the building made for cumbersome access. Serve was exceptional and the food we had was excellent.
We had an artichoke salad which was a special appetizer and it was very tasty. I had the rigatoni with bolognese sauce and it was very flavorful. I would recommend. My daughter had the lasagna, which in my opinion was just okay. It seemed like the meat was pureed into the ricotta cheese. Just not what was anticipated. I would pass on that . Restaurant got very busy after 7:30pm, so go early. Oh, there are no refills for ice tea, charged for each glass :-(
Just recently discovered this restaurant and happy to have done so. Based on the full house others have already made the discovery. The food and service are first rate — highly recommend.
Black truffle gnocchi was AMAZING!
Great vegetarian options. I recommend the RAVIOLI DI ANGELINA and the GNOCCHI DI PATATE AL TARTUFO NERO. The VEGETARIANA pizza is also good, but the Ravioli and Gnocchi win my vote.
outstanding service outstanding food, management accomodated my requests.
Everything was excellent food and service,
Well done. We will be back again
I am a regular here and it never disappoints. Great service, atmosphere and food.
Excellent authentic Italian. Excellent service. Fantastic list of Italian, American and French wines. Will be back.
Consistently good food. Excellent service. Great wine list. My only complaint is the noise level
Masseurs Dei Vini is a consistently high quality option for diners as they provide a plethora of specials and regular dishes that I’ve grown to love
Truly great old world service and style across the board with a great wine list and beautiful ambiance.
Food was ok. Had calamari which was a little undercooked and was a bit tough. The monk fish was excellent with a nice savory lemon sauce. Overall like the spot, attentive and relaxed service.
Food amazing. Service 100% excellent. I recommend this restaurant. It is really fabulous.
We brought family from out of town for a birthday dinner. It was an amazing night. The food was great. The service was even better. Would highly recommend for any occasion.
Great food and seeing
Excellent as usual in service and consistently the food is to die for. Worth the trip
I picked this place because of it's incredible reviews. I went with my girlfriend but we were really disappointed. The food quality is mediocre at best. We actually ordered their most recommended dishes. The squid ink pasta & gnocci were okay, but the biggest disappointment was the escalope milanaise. Not recommended for the food quality but the waiters and service was amazing! That's the reason for the 3 stars!!
One of my favorite places
The restaurant is a lovely, quiet place. The authentic Italian food is consistently delicious.
The food and ambience were fantastic. Our server seemed a bit over-stretched but still did well. I gave a 3 to food value because we felt the burrata appetizer -at $28 - was a bit over priced... even for New York.
All-in-all a fantastic restaurant that we would definitely return to.
The service was great. The waiters were very attentive and kind. The food was pretty good too. Great if you like pasta!
We had a delicious dinner with great service! Will be back ;)
Start to finish this was an outstanding experience. The service was exceptional - attentive but not overbearing, and the food...the FOOD! Best southern Italian food I've had outside of Italy proper. Nothing overly fussy - fabulous fresh-made pastas, beautiful salads perfectly dressed, lovely meat and fish options. Even the breadsticks (which are addictive) are house-made and served with an assorted very fresh, bread basket. Many items are made using imported DOP ingredients from Italy. (DOP is a strict labeling of food in Italy to preserve and protect regionally produced foods from less superior versions.) The wine list includes really beautifully chosen Italian (and some French) wines that are available by the glass or bottle. The bar even has an extensive single-malt scotch list which pleased my partner's discerning palate. The prices are on the high side but not outrageously so but the quality dining experience is well worth the cost. We will definitely return to this hidden gem.
Our group of 5 definitely enjoyed our meals. Outside area was great as they had nice separation from street. Service was outstanding.
Amazing all around (except for the waiter guaking at my date)
The food was terrific! A few hiccups on the service but very welcoming and lovely.
A delicious capers salad for just $22. The start of a very pricey evening. Once you have adjusted to that, the food and wines are very good.
The food is amazing italian authentic beautifully prepared , elegant yet casual , great wine list, amazing service.
We were in NYC to visit my son. My husband is vegan so we needed a vegan friendly restaurant. The service was outstanding and they were very accommodating to my husbands dietary needs. On top of that, the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend it to friends and go again when we return to NYC.
Two minor details: We felt dinner was a little rushed (understandable given the circumstances) and my wife's favorite dessert (a custard based dish) was not available. We definitely will be back in the near future.
This is a wonderful Italian restaurant with delicious food and friendly people. Mille grazie!
Great food and great service!
