Masselow's - Northern Quest Resort & Casino Ratings and Reviews
The restaurant was fantastic. Your service was not. Although I had an email confirmation stating I had a reservation, the restaurant had no record of it. They were kind enough to seat us anyway. Then as we were leaving the restaurant I received an email from you chastising me for not showing up for my reservation. Rude! I won’t be reserving tables with you again.
We came to Northern Quest Casino for The Tenors concert and enjoyed our stay at the hotel and especially dinner at Masselow's. My mother had the half chicken which was delicious and I had
the Chilean Sea Bass which I hadn't had since I lived in San Diego before moving here in 2009.
It was fantastic as well and was a very pleasurable dining experience as we had a small table
tucked away for more privacy. The hostess and wait staff were all extremely friendly and timely
and I would highly recommend this restaurant to others. We also had breakfast there the following morning before we left and had the breakfast wrap which was also outstanding.
Kudos to Masselows for an enjoyable experience.
This was our first time at Masselow’s and found it to be an excellent experience. The bone-in Ribeye was outstanding. Atmosphere was cozy and the service was exceptional. Our waiter’s
name is Cory and he really makes you feel special. Wine list is very good. The menu is a bit
Pricey but you get what you pay for.
Service was excellent, food was also excellent except for one of the steaks was a little tough. Flavor of the food was excellent. Server was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you want an excellent meal served by a friendly and knowledgable staff.
Our table was against the wall and lighting in that area was quite bright and could not be dimmed.
Service was satisfactory but not what is typical for high-end restaurant. Table settings had only one fork, taken with our salad plate. Had to request dinner forks when meals were served. Unused wine glasses were not removed from table while we dined, nor were water glasses checked and refilled.
Food was good, but not special.
Would try again sometime, but our experience did not compare favorably with Churchill’s or Spencer’s for its level of service, presentation or food quality.
We have dined at this restaurant previously and rated our meals highly. On the most recent occasion we were disappointed. My husbands meal was cold so he sent back which they restaurant did quickly however the quality was poor especially for the price charged.
Service was good, but the food was just okay. Everything seemed really salty. We ordered the ribeye steak. For the money, I would prefer a steakhouse with better ambience and better taste. Okay if you're just hanging out at the casino, but we wouldn't make the drive out there for this restaurant alone.
Chef was a little off his game. Food was delicious but both of our entrees should have had a sauce with them. Mine came out on the side moments after the dinner. My wife's came on the side when she was nearly finished.
Waiter was very apologetic and food was still delicious. Just not what we normally expect when we go here.
We came to your restaurant a year ago for our anniversary in October 2016 and had an incredible experience, the food was amazing, our server was incredible , all together a experience to remember.
We came back again for our anniversary again this year looking forward to the same kind of experience, but we were sadly disappointed. Our server was ok, we got nowhere near the service we got the first time. The food is another story though, our appetizers were sad, my wife's escargot were slightly rubbery but edible while on the other hand my shrimp cocktail was horrible, the shrimp the first time had a mooshy texture like they had been soaking in water way to long, so she brought another , it wasn't as bad but still far from being acceptable. I believe the shrimp had turned, because after our meal we went down to the casino and i spent about 20 minutes in the restroom dealing with some unexpected issues. The steaks were ok,mine was extremely charred on the edges for med rare but once you got past that it was allright. My wife brought her's home she wasn't overly enthused with it.
The other thing we a little disappointed in was the first time we were there the server was very interactive with us, he asked us how long we have been together , you know just trying to get know his customers a little bit, and at the end of our meal he actually brought us a complimentary dessert on a real nice plate and wished us a happy anniversary. We were really disappointed in our visit this time.
So unfortunately this was probably our last visit to your establishment.
This was a birthday celebration and it was not the best visit. We have been here before and have always enjoyed our visit, This time the steak we ordered were not up to there usual standards. My wife's was full of fat. I found a piece of plastic in my steak from a plastic bag. Sine it was a special occasion I chose not to make a big deal out of it. But in the future we will be choosing a different restaurant.
Expected a bit more from the meal, especially after reading all of the amazing reviews. Our meals were both GOOD, not excellent or the best we’ve ever had, by any means. I’d go back & try something other than steak. My muddled grapefruit and basil? martini was excellent!
Very delicious meals, attentive service; the tangerine butter was such a pleasant surprise! Slightly disappointed in the cauliflower---- just didn't taste the gruyere coming thru.
A bit on the high side for price making it a special occasion sort of place. My water glass barely could be empty before someone would refill it! Lovely waitress
We were impressed with the service, Cory our server was fantastic and knowledgeable. We were truly pampered and well taken care of. We had the Prime Rib, Escargot and salmon chowder. Everything was delish especially the prime rib, it was cooked to perfection and perfectly marbled. The Martini's were the best I ever had! We also liked the seating, it was very private in the booth, luxurious wood trim and high sides made for a great private dinner. We will definitely go there again can't wait!
This is my favorite restaurant, the staff know who we are and are always so friendly and accommodating. The steaks are incredible and their other menu choices are just as delicious. We usually ask to be seated in a booth. The layout of the restaurant makes you feel like you are the only one there. Even at a table they are spread apart so you have your own space. For any special occasion or just a good meal come to Masselow's!
Masselow's has BY FAR the best steaks in the Spokane/Cda area. We have eaten there 4 times now, trying different steaks; and we very highly recommend the Buffalo Rib-Eye. OMG, it is juicy, without a lot of fat; and it melts in your mouth. Best steak I have had, anywhere in the country.
We also had a Mussels appetizer... it was the biggest bowl of Mussels I have every had, and the light buttery sauce it was cooked in, was to die for! Amazing. Make sure you try this app!
Everything at Masselow's feels very upscale and nice; yet it is more affordable than other steak & seafood restaurants of the same upscale level. Drinks are top-shelf, yet also affordable.
By the way, our server/waitress (on 9/13/17) was exceptional; she went the extra mile for us, anything we asked for... it was a true delight to be served by her.
They also have a very nice cocktail bar adjacent to the restaurant, where you can order from a bar menu, OR, anything off the restaurant dinner menu as well. It's a nice touch, and a more relaxed place to sit and have dinner if you prefer; or if you do not have reservations.
I very highly recommend Masselow's... 5 BIG STARS (of 5)!!! They do it right!
