We decided to go to the restaurant based on reviews alone. The food was very good and good selection of wines. The only down side was the long wait for food. The upside was that, when it eventually came, each course was wonderful and we will definitely return.
My husband and I love Massa. The chef, Francesco, is absolutely amazing at what he does. His passion for delicious food shines through every dish. The freshest fish and in season ingredients every time we've eaten there.
Food was good the tuna special was great... wish it had a little more vegetables I was just really hungry just and wanted more 😁
Was disappointing. Service was very slow. Food was good but not spectacular for the price.
The food was good. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the service was attentive. The only thing I would say is that the price of the food seems to be a bit high for what you get. Some entrees came with no side dish at $30.
Worst service anyone in my party has ever experienced. Do not go unless you plan to wait 45 minutes for your first drink and 2 hours for your meal....and get very little by way apology or explanation. It was a Saturday night and the restaurant appeared to be run by children.
Top 3 of my favorite places to eat in Hudson valley
Wonderful! Fresh fish, creatively prepared. I had a veal chop, garnished with onions and mushrooms. Perfect.
Not inexpensive, but worth it.
Some of the best Italian food in the area.
The food was very good, but the price made this something than a restaurant for a simple night out. With one drink, two salads and entree,s and one tea the price before tip was $105. It was not that special.
There was one overworked waiter serving 14 tables of two to four people. So, service left a lot to be desired given the prices, although he tried very hard. So many better places for dinner within one or two miles. Worth looking elsewehere!
Our first visit to Massa will not be our last, for sure. Everything, from the bread all the way to
dessert was excellent. My wife and I shared the spaghettini for an appetizer, and wound up
getting extra bread to dunk in the white clam sauce. The bronzino on spinach was
excellent, and a fair sized portion. I had the affogato for dessert, and it was probably
the best that I have ever had. Also, if you like vodka, ask for the house-infused pineapple
vodka which was amazing. The ambience was warm, with brick wall and white tablecloths.
Small selection of food. The main dish had a limited selection of side dish. They only offered broccoli rabe, spinach or green beans. I would've preferred sautéed broccoli or potatoes. Calamari was bland. Branzino was very good. They ran out of desserts by 9pm (gelato, chocolate ganache, profiteroles) the place is lovely. Server was excellent. But I won't be back.
Nice ambiance, very good menu, many fish choices as well as meat and chicken. Fish was very fresh, well prepared and nicely presented. Service fell down after dinner, waited 1/2 hour for mediocre desserts. All in all, good experience.
I find it quite refreshing to find ownership that gets it. With so many mediocre restaurants in the area, MASSA does it right!
Freshest fish! Hands down best fish restaurant in westchester.
Wonderful pre fixe lunch and only $21 , great value , I'll be back !
As always a pleasure to dine here. Fish and oysters stand out
Great dinner with family and friends.
Had the DOVER w/ roasted almonds. Perfect!
Great menu . I can eat here every night of the week. Food is great and the staff is very welcoming. And I just tried the new Massa product line olive oil, sun dried tomatoes , artichokes, and a black olive spread I was also told there is a tomato sauce in the works . Very excited to see what's next . So glad I found this place. Thank you MASSA
