We have chosen Mason Street as our "go-to" anniversary restaurant for a number of years. The location is convenient to our favorite Milwaukee Hotel (The Pfister); the service is always excellent (Heather was or most recent waitress); the food is always noteworthy and the ambiance is lovely. We expect to continue this tradition in the future.
I have been to Mason Street Grill twice now and both times exceeded expectations. The restaurant is beautiful, friendly and attentive staff, excellent food and overall a wonderful experience for an evening of fine dining.
Delightful. Nice service and food was delicious.
Our experience at Mason Street Grill was just as good as was our last visit to your establishment. We will definitely be enjoying your excellent establishment many times more in the near future.
Always a great experience. Always the best for a special occasion,
It was a rushed experience from the bar to the dining room. Push and push through the process. Waiter was good when he was serving us but spread very thin with no back up from staff.
We loved the intimate atmosphere, the service was fantastic and the chopped salad and filet were the best I've eaten in years. Loved the entire experience. Highly recommend!
Wasn’t really great. The best thing was the French martini. The carrot cake was not in any respect tasty. It tasted burned but how because it was not even made in house. The fried rice gumbo wasn’t good- just very blah and no flavor. If I went back it would only be for the French martini.
Great place! Always enjoy it.
Go hungry and enjoy. Good selection to choice from.
Been there many times. One of our favorite places.
Mason Street Grill (located in the Pfister Hotel property) is always a great "go to" for business lunches or dinners with clients and family. We were able to have a celebration dinner this past weekend and the service and food was outstanding.
It was my wife’s birthday. Our server Shauna was engaging, friendly and extremely attentive. She even set up a face-time for us with a server we came to know well who had moved. My wife made a meal of a variety of appetizers and their French Onion soup. I ad a petite filet, Maytag crusted with scallops. We shared a seafood cocktail - a great discovery for us. All the food was superb, as we have come to expect. But what we really come here for is the ambiance, great service and the embrace of a staff that makes dining here a joy and a blessing.
Delicious dinner! Had the surf 'n turf. Service was great too! Shauna was wonderful. Can't wait to come back.
Overall great time only "complaint was the dessert did the sampler dessert 3 different items and only one I liked to my tasting
This was my second time back at Mason Street Grill and I can’t wait to be back. Our server, Graham was outstanding he was very patient and attentive with us as we have not been back since the pandemic started. Food was amazing and Valentine’s Day was great. Definitely a great spot for a date night.
The night was excellent! Our waiter was wonderful and the food was delicious
Mason Street continues to be our favorite, staff, ambiance and the food never disappoint. Not shy on prices so be prepared , COVID has driven them up .
Everything we ordered was spectacular! Will definitely return soon!
It was wonderful! It was our first time attending this restaurant and we will surely be coming back soon! Everything was amazing from the staff to the food! Well done.
We had an enjoyable day early Valentines dinner. Everything was superb. Our waiter Graham was on top of his game. The food was delivered piping hot from the kitchen on an extremely cold evening. The wine selections are great even by the glass. The best part of the evening is that our hotel room was a coatless hop, skip, & jump away. Happy Valentines!
The food was good but our table was awful. The establishment had moved it too close to the kitchen door and we practically had to shout at one another to be heard.
Great food and ambiance. The service was also outstanding, our main course did take a little long to be served but once we received it, was great.
Valentine’s day
Great place! Steak is awesome!
The Pfister is one of my favorite hotels and I just knew that Mason Street Grill would do the hotel proud and I am happy to say that I had an amazing dinner with my crew last night. The restaurant was warm and cozy and the service we received from Emma made it just that much better. The wine list is stellar and I found some of my favorite wines, Hess, by the glass! The French onion soup was delicious and for our main meals, we had the scallops and 64-hour braised short ribs which were both divine! I was happy to learn that you can order the sides in half orders, so we were able to enjoy the white cheddar and smoked gouda mac & cheese without feeling too guilty. We also ordered the roasted brussel sprouts, but they were disappointing. The dessert options only consisted of carrot cake and chocolate cake, so we passed. Will definitely be back!
My date and I had the short ribs. They were done to perfection.
My very favorite restaurant. The food was amazing. I had to chop salad my husband had the seafood soup both were very good. He had the salmon I had the short ribs. Mine were very tender didn’t even need a knife. I had carrot cake and he had chocolate cake. If I had any complained it would be that the drinks Were a little high priced. Old fashions for $15 each is very high
Delicious!! We had a wonderful experience and our server, Grady, was outstanding!
We went for Downtown Dining week. I felt like MSG really didn't want to be a part of that event, nor did they believe in the concept...our waiter told us about their other daily special, but didn't mention to us that it was DD week, or call our attention to the (very small, one copy per table) DD menu. Otherwise, the food was decent, but not outstanding. The whole point is to lure the people in with a value priced offering and then knock their socks off, so that they remember how great an experience it was, and come back again, repeatedly.
Downtown dining week. Everything was great. Might have need more staff in bar area. Would definitely return.
Everything was great The waiter was very knowledgeable
Dinner was great, would recommend this restaurant to anyone
Our server was amazing. He was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendation. His attentiveness made us feel like we were his only table. The short rib special was delectable.
Great service and great food. Ordered off the Downtown dining week menu. Very good options
The filet is outstanding
Great downtown dining experience
