Consistently outstanding. Their Sunday fixed price dinners are a great value.
Celebrated our anniversary and received a complimentary champagne toast which was a nice extra touch to a wonderful dinner experience!
Thought is was a low key style restaurant. Then noise was extremely loud and very difficult to have a conversation with my wife seated across from me. We didn’t receive any service for bread or possible drinks for nearly 45 minutes after the initial explanation of the menu. The sides ordered could feed one person and for the price not really worth it. Steaks were great. Waitress was nice, but too busy of an atmosphere. Waitress didn’t show much attention to our table or offer drinks during our dining experience. We were at the restaurant for approximately 2 hours.
Unfortunately, while the food was delicious there were several hiccups with service. We ordered steak with Oscar, but Oscar didn't come until we were half finished with the steak. We ordered a wine and it came with dessert. We ordered a scotch and it came with the check.
Went for Valentine’s Day, salad, corn, steak all great.
Our first visit to mason Street Grill, was wonderful. Great service and delicious food and drinks.
We love going to Mason Street Grill and eating at the counter. It is fun to watch the action from the kitchen! It is definitely worth the hour drive. This last visit we stayed and listened to some great music after our meal. It is always a lovely evening.
The ambiance here is wonderful and our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable. I had the filet Oscar and it was delicious. I also had the chopped salad and that was delicious as well. Topped it off with a Bourbon Old Fashion that was outstanding! It's a little pricey for my taste, but very good.
We had a great evening with friends at Mason Street. Food and service was very good. After dinner we went into the bar to have desert and listen to some super great live music. An all around lovely evening.
Our waiter, Dan, was knowledgeable, quick, and courteous. Our food was cooked to perfection. We had a great dinner.
We were in town from new Orleans for Valentine's day weekend. I lived in the area years and years ago and it we came to vidit.
Mason Street Grill was an excellent dining experience, easily as good as any great restaurant in NOLA, where the food traditions spa. Three centuries.
I had the short ribs with potato and parsnip puree and red cabbage. The beef was perfectly cooked, tender but not falling apart. And the cabbage was delicious. It's a flavor profile that really works, and not common in the south at all. Washed down with the house draft, also very good and a bit hoppy, which suits me just fine.
My beloved had the trout with lemon and capers and really enjoyed it. Oh, and she had the onion soup which was quite good too.
She had mimosas and had seconds.
Dessert was an apple crisp for her and orange cranberry cheesecake. I almost always have cheesecake and this was awesomely good. Tart cranberry sauce - more like a compote - with the orange flavor of the cheesecake was a really good combination. Ad a candied orange slice garnish. Like marmalade.
Service was impeccable. Attentive, friendly, and understated.
The atmosphere is a bit of the oak, old school steakhouse but not stuffy.
I definitely recommend.
Always outstanding food, fantastic carrot cake, wonderful wine selections.
Excellent food and value. Very good service from all employees. Will definitely go again.
Service was excellent. The food average stake good but the side dishes nothing special for the price you pay. The dessert creme brûlée was not good at all.
Drinks are good.
I had pan roasted chicken which was dry and skin was salty. My spouse had the Chicken Picatta it was also dry and not enough sauce. The creme brûlée was the best part of the meal and was enough for two.
We did tell manager he just said he would tell the chef. We had a much better experience there the previous visit.
Pre- symphony
Food delicious. Great server. Wish you could hear the live music in the main dining rolm
Food was awesome, but a bit pricey for the quality.
Both fish entrees came out VERY overcooked. Sent them back and the issue was quickly resolved. But very disappointed a restaurant of this caliber would even send food out of the kitchen that was that overcooked in the first place.
As a Business group, we were all very happy with the service, quality of food and ambience of Mason Grill. We would recommend for future gatherings.
Everything was really good except one order of Halibut had a lot of bones.
Went for a birthday celebration. The staff was very friendly. My steak was cooked to perfection. They made a special treat for the birthday guest which made the evening more memorable. Highly suggest!
My steak came out medium instead of medium rate, and they refired a new steak. They even bought us a dessert to make up for it. Good was great. We’ll go back.
Our experience with this restaurant was exceptional! Our steak dinners were prepared exactly as we wanted and the entire meal was timed perfectly. Our server, Grady was excellent!
Great lunch with good friends, always good food and great service.
Great place for any occasion.
Blake our server and the rest of the staff were outstanding! Food and atmosphere were also tremendous!! Great birthday desert also, don't try to stay on your diet!
Great food and great service!!
I have been to MSG numerous times for happy hour drinks and small bites at the bar and have always been very satisfied with the food. Friendly bartenders and a nice ambiance. We decided to give it a try for a nice steak dinner with friends and were very disappointed in the food. Our steaks were tough even though they were done medium rare. The brussel sprouts were flavorful but barely cooked. My husband did enjoy the garlic mashed potatoes. We were very pleased with the level of service provided by our waitress.
This restaurant is my favorite restaurant in Milwaukee, the place is fantastic. I will say it's on the high end price wise for non millionaires, but if you want to indulge in a great meal, this is the first place to go in Milwaukee.
Great place for business lunchens. Service is nice. Food is great. Nice decor.
This is my favorite restaurant in Milwaukee. The bar is always active with live music and people having a good time. Food, service and ambiance are all great! Steaks are mouth watering and the chopped salad is my favorite! Ask for John” as he’s the best waiter in the place. Great experience every time.
Went to dinner with friends before a game. Had a great time.
Visited for a business dinner. Waiter seemed in a big hurry which was unfortunate for a Monday night. I ordered a filet and was quite disappointed with the level of fat was attached. I cannot say i have ever encountered that with a high priced filet. Not sure i would rush back.
Another great dinner experience - came half hour early to catch the jazz show in the bar, then proceeded to the restaurant for delicious dinner and exceptional service. Five stars!
Great meal and service. We had some dietary restrictions and the server and chef accommodated us easily.
Best service I’ve had at any restaurant, EVER! Dan and Francis were amazing!
Dinner, restaurant and service were simply outstanding. Posted the chocolate cake on facebook. Out of this world.
Service is amazing! Get the chocolate cake it’s delicious!
Waitress very nice. Food very good. Good place for a date.
We celebrated our anniversary and had a lovely albeit expensive evening. Oysters Rockefeller were especially delicious. They make a very good Sazerac, my favorite cocktail. Service is attentive without being intrusive. This is one of the few restaurants where you can have a conversation without having to shout above the noise. An important feature for an intimate dinner.
