I did love this spot last time ... too bad it's closing next week. Maybe that's why the food was rather unremarkable and the attitude of the brown-haired waiter was so aloof ... already somewhere else.

After our lukewarm rose arrived (our first choice of wine was out), I knew we were in trouble. For the price-the service was decidedly poor and the food was meh. One dish was way over salted and the others lackluster. This was my first time and I was disappointed. It will be my last visit.

Aside from the food, which was great. Our server was very professional, skillful, and on point. I am a nurse and worked as a waitress for many years. I do not not recall her name, however, she should be recognized for her ability to read a dining situation and work accordingly. Thank you Mason Pacific for a good meal and great time!

Superlative service - attentive yet not disruptive - some of the best service I've ever received - excellence achieved!

Sumptuous small plates and the pork chop is truly excellent in every way.

Make it here for dinner and you will be amazed.

Food was good though expensive; service was excellent and they did respond as promised to a prior reservation cancellation when repairs from their small fire had not been completed on time by comping us wine and an extra dessert. They have removed some of the less expensive choices from their menu which may account for the less full restaurant. However, they provide NO bread unless you buy it from them. I do not eat in restaurants with this behavior (which I have only encountered at one other in the U.S.) and do not expect to return.

We had a great evening at Mason Pacific! The food was delicious. Our server Eric suggested the octopus as an appetizer and while we were a bit doubtful, we went with it and were sooooo pleased! It was tender and delightful! As were the burrata and assorted cheeses from cowgirl creamery. Our rack of lamb, halibut and salmon were also wonderful!!! Such a great night out.
Would highly recommend.

We were very excited to try one of their charcuterie boards and while the food was excellent they forgot to bring that board out and the prices were not cheap. so while the food was good, there was too little to enjoy for the price we paid.

The pork chop was delicious but the Caesar salad was not good. It had way to much of an Anchove base to it. Also any restaurant that pours a sixteen dollar glass of wine should give no less than five ounces the glasses were filled to about 3.5 ounces. That is a horrible look for a restaurant.

The cheese was great as was the table and the service but please give more value for your food and drinks. It's not acceptable to pour that small a glass of wine. I'm always happy to pay top dollar for elite food but when the food comes out like that with limited wine glass pours I take my services elsewhere.

I rarely take the time to write a negative review. But our meal here was a complete disaster. Super slow service. Absurdly small wine pours. Also something of an odd smell in the place. The food was fine but that didn't matter. Too bad as we had high hopes based on the website and other reviews here.

The servers at Mason Pacific went above and beyond to provide an invaluable dining experience. We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday, and they were incredibly accommodating to the occasion, even bringing out a surprise dessert wine with a candle! Great experience! Food was excellent too!

So glad to have discovered this elegant little atelier. Dining early on a Friday we nearly had the whole professional waitstaff to ourselves! Oysters on the half-shell with the perfect mignonette were stand-out delicious, and a succulent pink trout steak served with small clams on a bed of curly pea shoots and other botanical delights further raised our gastronomic sights, curiosity, and tasted amazing. Thank you! We shall be back.

Terrible experience. I never write bad reviews, but I feel like I have to for Mason Pacific.

It took them an hour past our reservation time to seat us and they never checked in with us or offered to serve us at the bar while we waited. It was a struggle to get someone to take our order, finally someone did and it took an hour after that for food to start coming out. Then, another hour between apps and main dishes. As soon as we told the waiter "forget the mains, we have to go, we've been here a really long time" they appeared from the kitchen.

When you are drinking wine for three hours waiting to eat, things get a little blurry and expensive. Could not even enjoy the main dish, I was so hungry and tired at that point, but after three hours of drinking, waiting hours between bites, the whole experience cost us about $100/person.

Nice comfortable spot with a calm pleasant atmosphere. The food was horribly overpriced though. Appetizers were ~$15 and entrees were ~$30. Prices need to be cut down significantly to match the quality of the food.

Very disappointed. We had friends in from out of town and wanted to take them to a nice neighborhood spot. Food was uninspired, bland and COLD!
Cannot imagine returning. Had eaten there before and the food was ok but this time it was horrible. I think something must have happened in the kitchen because we waited forever for our food and when it appeared it sucked!

They had a pre fix menu for Valentines. Very inferior menu that night. Choice of steak with bone in it with mashed potatoes and salmon. Two underwhelming deserts. Also they would take only a 5;45 reservation for us and we were there until 8 with lots of empty tables!! We eat there on non special occasion nights and it is better but we will wait a while to go back

Intimate two room restaurant with well appointed interior, looks fancy but not snobby. I enjoyed the limited items and the simplicity of the menu. There weren't many options but all looked tasty and the three items we had were great.

While the food and decor were lovely I wish the staff was a little more attentive to detail. Is tarnished silverware a thing now?
