Marzano is so good every time. Took my parents here during their visit, they loved everything g on the table, the brussel sprout pizza gets a shout-out, and the warm apple crisp on a cool night was a vibe. Love this place.

We had a wonderful time tasting wines from Tenuta Del Meriggio hosted by wine expert Angelino Sandri from Siena Imports. The wines were excellent and we enjoyed them with a generous selection of appetizers from Marzano's menu. The event was held in the parklet - it was nice to be outdoors on a warm Autumn evening, drinking wine, talking and nibbling. Thanks for a fun event!

Normally, I have no complaints but last night the waitress was really off. I asked three times to have a glass of ice brought to my table and she never brought it. The pizza was way over cooked. The prosciutto was dried out, and the crust was black in parts. The desert a pot de came to the table and looked not nicely prepared. The chopped salad was great!

Marzano makes excellent pizza, such that it is the only “main course” we ever get there, but the appetizers are wonderful, too. The pizza dough is the best part of the pizza—it’s perfect, and the wood fired oven serves it well.

It is not always the case when you go to a restaurant and actually get exactly what you asked for. . From entering to leaving I felt like a valued customer . Not always the case. No more happy hour but I found their prices very reasonable with 1/2 glasses of wine available after you order your first one of course. They let you taste wines and everyone there had a great attitude. All in all thoroughly enjoyable for me.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Oakland! The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the cocktail are great! It’s a Black owned, Italian restaurant that plays music hip hop and R&B from the 90s! Me and my wife love this place. Also the review that called it 3rd world is racist and should be taken down.

And just like downtown Oakland and San Francisco, this place took a deep dive in quality, value and service. The food was not very good, service was dismal although I’m sure the staff was trying their best, and just over all ambiance was third world. I wish this business luck and hope they bounce back.

Not many pasta dishes for an Italian restaurant, so I assume they just focus more on their pizza. We got meatballs as an app and it came out extremely quick but it was not warm the food was like at room temperature.. so I assume they just had it already made and gave it to us. The pizza is good just come here for the pizza. The pasta dish we did get just had no flavor, unfortunately. The sauce was just so bland and it was $22 for a dish that tasted like nothing. Just stick to the pizza when you come here. This was my second time here and I had a better experience the first time but still the rage pasta was disappointing but decided to come again and now know it’s probably not the place to go to for pasta.
