Great as always
Just fabulous food in a delightful setting with awesome service.
Outstanding. The food is incredible and the people are even better.
Marx Brothers is an extraordinary restaurant. The food delicious and the service impeccable. It's not everyday we can afford to go there, but every now and then and for a special occasion, it hits the ball out of the park every time. We are from Fairbanks so getting there is also a once in a great while thing, but as part of a special trip, worth going to.
Food was great as usual. Caesar Salad was excellent. Also learned they have a Caesar Salad class on Saturdays so we're now signed up.
Delicious menu. Amazing cesear salad made at your table. Reminds me of restaurant dining in the great restaurants of Philadelphia. Some of the best food in Anchorage.
Delicious! Excellent service! Get the Cesar salad that they make tableside. The best I’ve ever had!
Marx Brothers is always a good place for special occasions. We celebrated our 16th Anniversary. Their Caesar salad is the best in town. You just can’t go wrong with the Marx Brothers!
Excellent food and fantastic service! Food is a little pricey but well worth it for special occasions. Have eaten at Marx Brothers on a number of occasions and they have never disappointed. Caesar salad was phenomenal!
My wife had the white salmon which she said was outstanding. I had the scallops and shrimp which was in a very good sauce. The portion was sized perfectly.
We've eaten here for our most special occasions. The staff treats everyone like royalty. Marx Bros' signature Caesar salad, made by hand at tableside, is DELICIOUS. There are only 10-15 tables, nice ambience; very nice staff; excellent, unique foods, delectable desserts, well worth the price. In the summer they grow their own herbs & produce. This place is a gem. Take a taxi so you can enjoy the great wine list & the selection of port wines. One of Anchorage's best kept secrets. Reservations a good idea.
My boyfriends birthday, food and wine was amazing as always:)
Amazing food and service
We meet friends for dinner. The food service and scenic views were just wonderful.
Consistently great. Over last 15 Years never a bad experience. Best service ever.
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. We enjoyed the duck and the lamb, but started with the famous Caesar salad. Bread was also served before everything else. Each dish was intentionally made and placed on the dish itself and on the table. Service was exceptional and respectful. The ambience made me feel at home, like I was at a dinner party of sorts. Then we got dessert, deciding to get both the tiramisu and the chocolate mousse. They were each flavorful and light, with berries that accented them well. Overall it was a wonderful dining experience, and we will be returning for another anniversary when we can enjoy the wine list in a year or so.
One of anchorage’s Best dining experiences. Caesar salad is the best
Totally delicious! A bit pricey, but we had a nice bottle of wine /so much ceaser salad/desert/ the works! Enjoyed the evening.
The food was mostly excellent, but the whole experience is not worth the exorbitant prices. The tea smoked duck and the warm berry cobbler were both delicious. The steaks, however, were overseasoned. While the service was good for the most part, it definitely grew inattentive as the night progressed. The ambience is nice, though not as elegant as you might expect given their prices. This restaurant is located inside a very small house with a very small dining room. The extremely close together tables make the restaurant feel claustrophobic and overcrowded. We felt like the entire restaurant could hear our (relatively quiet) conversation. As diners paying a great deal of money to be there, we felt undervalued. I definitely recommend this place for a rare, special occasion, but don't expect the sky-high prices to equate to a perfect dining experience.
Very nice dinner selections. The menu was expanded to offer more choices.
