We arrived 15 minutes early for our 6:30 reservation (we were going to see an 8:00 live performance). We were greeted by an unsophisticated hostess staff. Not very welcoming and not very polished. Whatever, our table was ready, and we were seated right away. Greeted at the table by guy we thought was our waiter. He mumbled a great deal. We were able to discern that he was asking us: bottled or tap water? Next, another guy comes and takes our drink order and apologizes for our waiter: "be with us shortly." Finally, our waiter comes! We tell him we're going to the show. After showing us pics of specials off a tablet (can't the staff be trained to eloquently rehearse 3-4 items??) he warns us that we should probably order asap, as the restaurant is going to get very busy soon. We tell him we want to enjoy our drinks for 5 minutes, which we did. We ordered at 6:30ish. We each ordered a pasta dish and a salad to share. The salad came right away, and was tasty. We finished in about 10 minutes. At 7:15, we were still waiting for our entrees, and my husband asked what was taking so long, as we noticed other diners around us, who came in afterwards, had been served their meals. Waiter tells us, um maybe we should order appetizers because the food is delayed. Impatient, I go to ladies room. Ick!!! There were 4 women waiting in front of me. I think there were 4 stalls. One woman came out of a stall telling me the toilet didn't flush. This was VERY obvious. I also overheard a couple other women lamenting the same issue with 2 other stalls. VERY unappetizing!!!! Back at the table, no food, but my husband had asked for a manager. Manager comes over, and tells us that what we ordered (pasta) takes longer than other items. He never expressed apologies for our woes. Says we need to understand that our entrees take extra time. We say No Way. He says Why Don't You Leave? We say, Good Idea. Buh bye.
