About Martorano's Atlantic City
Martorano's combines exceptional food, music and movie entertainment to create the most unique dining experience. Enjoy our state-of-the-art sound and lighting system that sets the scene with anything from Classic R&B to Disco to today's Hip-Hop and Classic Slow Jams. Our high definition televisons throughout the restaurant show scenes from many of my favorite movies. Keep in mind the movie content may be R-rated and contains scenes not suitable for children under the age of 18. If you want to have a business meeting or family dinner join us between 6pm and 10pm when you can listen to classics from Sinatra to John Coltrane. From 10pm till 2am, the music kicks up and the party begins. If you see this concept anywhere in the world, know it began at Cafe Martorano in 1983.

Martorano's Atlantic City Ratings and Reviews
Let me say I manage a small Hotel with a Restaurant on site which has great food and even better value. This dinner was way overpriced. Food is just good, if that. Ambiance is a bit confusing with movies playing around the restaurant and music (All different varieties) on as well. I spent most of the dinner distracted. Oh well . I won on the Wheel of Fortune machine afterwards so the night ended on a high note!
Being Italian and virtually eatten in every Italian restaurant from Philly to AC i had to try this place. The staff professional but warm and friendly. The food is second to none ! From first bite you taste the freshnesss and every ingredient pops out. Gnoochi was home made and firm not mushy. The clams and macaroni was the best ive ever had. The calamari was fried to perfection. Last but not least i have eatten meatballs in my life. As a true Italian would say "nothing beats my mothers meatballs". Well, Steven Marturano knocked it out of the park ! I will be back very soon!
Waitress told me the pork chop dish wasn't spicy and yet it was with peppers in it. Husbands veal parm was large portion but we weren't sure if it was cooked fresh or reheated cutlet. The eggplant stack was good. Noise level loud, wouldn't suggest it if you're looking for quiet dinner to catch up. Nice wine list
Was very disappointed that you could not substitute pasta for the risotto . No substitutions period. For a place that prides itself on making everything fresh and to order this was unacceptable especially for the price you are paying. The food was very good.
Real Italian food, I was initially turned off by the greeting or lack there of when we got there for a 5 pm reservation but was pleasantly delighted with our waiter. The ambience is great, very romantic and the food is 5 star...I would absolutely go back, it's expensive so be prepared but well worth it!!!! The Dessert was delish!
Martoranos is our go to place whenever we're in AC. Hostess Nicolette is the ultimate professional, food is always awesomely delicious. So happy they brought back the eggplant stack appy and the best veal Marsala ever and the linguine with shrimp & lump crab Fra diavolo was spectacular. Just wish they would bring back the yo cuz chocolate layer cake - not a fan of red velvet.
Absolutely positively will See us next trip!
Had reservations for 8:30 didn't get seated till almost 9.. the apps were very good( Fried mozzarella and cheesesteak ) but dinners were nothing special both chicken parm dinners had no flavor, chicken tasted like it was freshly cooked 2days prior and reheated that nite and very thin..
1st Time in Atlantic City and 1st time at this restaurant. The service was great, the food was awesome the ambiance was wonderful going from dinner atmosphere to more upbeat later at night. The prices matched the food, service and atmosphere. Great place. We celebrated our friends 50th birthday and the made it even more memorable. Must try!
Martorano's is somewhere between "fine dining" [the prices] and casual [excellent pastas, meatballs, Caesar salad]. It's not cheap, and there's a "no substitutions" policy. In addition, food is delivered when it's ready, so don't count on everyone's entrees arriving at the same time. Most objectionable – at least to me – are the video screens throughout the restaurant that show closed-captioned R-rated movies (think "Pulp Fiction") that are filled with dialog peppered with the N-word and F-word, and some pretty graphic descriptions of sex acts. I've never been there his late, but, supposedly, after 10 p.m. Martorano's becomes a "disco" of sorts with a mirror ball and a DJ. An excellent server is Guille.
Not a fan of a restaurant that feels like your have to shout to the person you are dining with so they can hear. Was there on a Saturday night, they were really busy. The kitchen and clanging plates is visible and with the tables. Not my idea of a relaxing dinner. We were seated by the corner where all the food was coming out and plates clanging. If I had not been with someone else I would have walked out.
