We have been to Martini's several times and we're never disappointed. The food is always excellent and we love the martini's. The restaurant is very clean and the ambiance is very pleasing. One of the best restaurants in the area!
It was so easy to make a reservation! The food was awesome & we had a great server! Thanks Deb Helmerson
It was just kind of weird that we came in at 5pm with hardly anyone there and it took almost a hour to get our food. My wife ordered grilled chicken lips and she was a little disappointed that they didn't have any hot sauce on them at all. Mike
We love Martinis. My favorite restaurant around this area!
Mouth watering food and delicious drinks. Martini’s is top notch. Perfect atmosphere for date night or girls night out. Martini’s never disappoints.
Best place to eat in the area! Never a disappointment!!
Our waiter Josh was incredible. He rivals any waiter we’ve had at any of the restaurants we’ve eaten at across the U.S.
Always enjoyable, the staff does a nice job and the food will not disappoint. Seems like you are in a big city establishment!
Your waiter, Josh, couldn't have served us any better. He's a great asset to your fine restaurant. Everything was perfect for my wife's birthday!
My wife and I had an amazing dinner and everything was top-notch!!!
Tammy is hands down the best waitress there. We request her every time. She remembers her patrons and their preferences. It makes the dinner even more special.
We have been going to Martini's for several years. The past few times it has been disappointing. The wait staff used to be so professional. I was always impressed with their training. But not anymore. Last time the waitress reprimanded us for flagging her down to take our drink order and said, "Can't you see I'm busy with this other table?" Ouch. This time, the waitress tried to "upsell" us add-ons to our already overpriced main meals. I had the Red Snapper fish special -- a $45 entree which was not at all special. She was encouraging the addition of scallops and shrimp -- for extra money, of course. Extra on top of an already grossly overpriced piece of fish?! No thank you! It's a transparent and low-class sales technique which we did not appreciate. Nor did we appreciate her trying to sell us on the King cake dessert special when were right in the middle of eating our main course. We were literally chewing our food while she was demanding our attention to the dessert menu. Additionally, my house salad was surprisingly sub-par. It was the kind of iceberg lettuce, cherry tomato, crouton combo you'd get at, say, Denny's. And my boyfriend is still complaining about the seafood chowder, a tomato-based soup with potatoes but not a hint of seafood -- and this is coming from someone who NEVER complains! WHAT is going on with you guys at Martini's?!?!? This is not the fine dining experience we have come to expect. Especially not when we paid $100 per person for the meal (incl. drinks & a shared dessert). We will still come for the cocktails and sushi, but as for main courses in the dining room? Sorry, it's not worth the money. PS: Is it just me or have your acoustics gotten worse? It's been so loud in there we can't enjoy our conversation because we can't hear each other! Thank you for listening.
Great food and drinks! Emily was amazing!
Rachel and the rest of the staff did such an awesome job for my birthday dinner! The food was great as usual and the drinks were fantastic!
Great food great service we loved it
We always enjoy Martinis Grill. We travel to the area from St. Louis 3-4 x a year and always have a great meal. This restaurant is consistent with excellent food and service.
Sea Bass was great and beautiful presentation.
Really great place. Awesome food. Awesome service. Great menu.
At the last minute our kids from Iowa City wanted to join us for dinner going from 4 to 8 and Kylee worked hard to figure it all out for us even though they were booked full that night. Thank You Kylee. The food was great and we enjoyed celebrating my husbands birthday with family and friends. Our server did a nice job NOT being obvious about making sure I got the bill for whole table.
Noise level is always an issue. Food service and ambiance is fabulous
Great atmosphere and of course we love the martinis.
Excellent food, my date and I were very pleased. We will return
Reservation was made for 5:15. Had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Order made quickly. Salad and soup brought within a reasonable period of time. We were not rushed to eat our soup and salad. Had ordered 2 Fillets. One with baked potato and the other with mashed. We waited for a long time to get our entree's. No explanation as to why. Had to reorder the mashed potato's as the initial ones brought were not hot. We did order a dessert but this whole experience shouldn't have taken the 2 plus hours that it did! Food was great but the time it took to complete the process seemed to be excessive! On the plus side, got to see the end of the Iowa game and Iowa won with 3.4 seconds on the clock in a last second desperation play!
Martini’s is our special go to place. We live over an hour away. It’s always a happy satisfied drive home. Our server Emily did a great job. Thank you Martini’s and Emily for a wonderful evening.
We were celebrating my husbands birthday. The service was very good and the food was great!
The wife and I just love to treat ourselves to some Martinis and good food, but the view is what ties it all together. We try to get there a few times a year and would definitely recommend it to any couple wanting an upscale feel without having to travel outside their own back yard.
Our dining experience was very poor. I will never go back and I will recommend to my friends to not waste their money. Constant waiting game dot-dot-dot not worth the time invested. Took my girlfriend for a Valentine's Day fancy dining experience that ended up being a joke on me. Incredibly disappointed with no plans to ever make a return trip
We arrived right on time and our table was almost ready. We had excellent service and excellent timing on the grazing Meal which is multi courses. We also had several martinis and they're made of fresh fruit and fresh juices which made them excellent. This was not our first experience there but we really had a good time.
The grazing was absolutely wonderful! Service was good, as always!
Simply Outstanding! The view was great and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend it to anyone new to the area or just passing through.
Our waitress was wonderful & offered several times to answer any questions we had. Our food was very good.
When ever we want a big city type dining experience we go to Martini's grill. While we love living in Iowa and after living in Chicago, Cincinnati, Los Angeles and Detroit have no desire to ever live in a big city we sure do miss the dining experiences. Martini's is high quality food and service and the best thing going that we have found in southeast Iowa. While people in the area may think it's expensive it is not for the food and service you receive. We have eaten there several times and have always got outstanding service with excellent food. I can highly recommend it.
an amazing experience all the way around. and Ami is one of the best servers ever!
Overall it was a great experience. I did feel the room temperature was a bit chilly. It helped each time the heat kicked on, but that only lasted so long. In the future, I will request a table away from the windows if I am dining in the winter.
I loved the green beans and French onion soup. The ruby slipper martini is so fresh.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Good specials. We got charged full price for drinks . I believe they should have been happy hour price 1/2+price. Server was very attentive and helpful.
The ONLY problem we had was the elevator wasn't working. Our walk up was taxing as one of us has a surgically repaired knee, and the other of us will need their knees surgically repaired. To our delight we were allowed to ride the service elevator down.
Love it here. Great place for date night. We take our kids sometimes, but usually no kids are there. Great view too
Great restaurant. I have been 3 times and it might be the nicest place to eat in Burlington. Good view of the Mississippi River/ bridge and downtown area. It is located on the fourth floor.
The food was amazing and the service was quite well.
We went for our Anniversary and were not disappointed. We get there early enough to use their 2 for 1 drinks. This time we also selected from their 2 for 32.00 menu. I keep forgetting how much food you get.
