Maybe our last night out for a while. Celebrated a birthday. Can' think of a better place for a "last meal for a while!"
We always plan dinner at Martini before going to a show. It never disappoints. The bruschetta is amazing and the pasta dishes are always delicious.
The food was amazing. We shared the Arancini then a Caesar salad, a pasta all’s vodka and the filet. We had plenty to take some home too! Joey, our server, was wonderful. He was patient, thoughtful, and made excellent recommendations both with food and wine. Overall it was a great experience. We will be back.
Our server was amazing, as always. Drinks were great - thank you for the best cosmo in town. We split the 24 oz tomahawk, cooked to perfection!
Overall nice place to eat and have drinks, service was poor we ran out drinks and she did not come and check on us when the plates came out.
If you're celebrating a special occasion such as an anniversay, please try this place. It's dark but romantic with candle lighting. The service was top notch! The food itself.. Was absolutely delicious! If your not sure what to get by looking at the menu.. Just know you can order half sizes of any of the meals.. We had four meals plus left overs because the portions are more than enough. Thank you for a great anniversary dinner.
The ambiance and energy were great! My wife and I ordered two cocktails, and then shared an appetizer, a salad and an entrée. The appetizer - pulled mozzarella - was over-priced at $17 and although touted as a favorite, was bland and uninspiring. The beets salad was tasty and well prepared, but - even though split between two - was small in quantity for the price. The entrée - braised lamb pasta - was great, well prepared, tasty and ample in quantity. Definitely the highlight of the meal! Even though the restaurant was crowded - it was a Saturday evening - the service was slower than I expected. The waiter was courteous and knowledgeable about the menu. All in all, I would recommend the restaurant to a friend, with perhaps just a different selection of some menu items.
Favorite restaurant to go to while in Columbus.
Fantastic from start to finish! From hostess that turned off fans after noticing my shivering, excellent sever, and delicious food. I’ve been here five times and have never been disappointed!
Joey our waiter was fantastic! Food was amazing and the ambiance was lovely! Will definitely return:)
I’ve been here a few times and have never been disappointed by the food and service. Leann is as very polite and attentive. Our food was served at the right temperature and tasted delicious!
Our waitress and food were excellent. I would definitely recommend Martini.
Tenderloin was amazing! Highly recommended going to this restaurant if you’re in downtown Columbus!
Martini is my favorite of the Cameron Mitchell restaurants. The food is so rich and exquisite. Presentation is amazing. Quality and taste is perfection. The best service around. The dessert is like something out of your imagination. Highly recommend the Tiramisu served in an edible chocolate cup designed to look like a cappuccino. Certainly channeled "Willy Wonka". Absolutely, worth every penny.
We had the most wonderful time and our server... well she was just amazing!
Food and service were good menu is a little pricy for quantity of plate portions.
The service and food were excellent. Perfect for a burthday
The food quality was Ok. The service was not that good. It’s definitely pricy
Our waiter was outstanding. His recommendations were excellent!
Amazing experience!! The food was great and so was the ambiance.
The food was delicious. Very good Italian.
Food good as always. So loud you couldn’t think.
Food was of good quality although very pricey for what you get. I had lamb pappardelle which had lots of sauce but not so much lamb. We didn't care for the calamari recipe. Dipping oils for bread were good but didn't really care for the bread itself. Side salads were very pricey. I had said we were celebrating a birthday in my reservation; the hostess acknowledged it but that was it - not sure if they normally do anything for birthdays or not. Not a bad experience, just one that I won't repeat anytime soon.
I celebrated my birthday here. Overall great experience. Loved the food and drinks!
Everything was outstanding!
Great food, service, and quality food. Love the chicken picatta.
Food and service was excellent.
Fair pricing for that level of expertise.
Down side is it was extremely loud! Not "energetic" or "lively", but so loud our table of four had difficulty conversing.
Wonderful all around!
Reward for clients
Our server was SOOOO patient with one person in our party that was being picky and a little difficult. They are all so professional here and one server that wasn't ours even stopped by our table to say hello because he recognized a couple people in our party. My favorite restaurant anywhere!! Food always awesome!
Great service from Joe and wonderful food. Group shared the bruschetta and fresh mozzarella both which were amazing. Everyone loved their main dishes
This is our favorite restaurant in the city. We had a great evening celebrating a late Valentine’s Day this Tuesday. Our server was knowledgeable, kind, personable and fun. The lamb chop special was delicious and we really enjoyed the calm ambiance that evening.
Excellent as always. Food and drink were great. Our server Brandon was exceptional. He was attentive but not intrusive. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. My colleague is allergic to tomatoes and potatoes; he was assured by Brandon that he would make sure this was addressed. Brandon put the tomatoes and Mozzarella on separate plates. He should be commended.
We were celebrating a friend's birthday and the entire experience was excellent. The service, food and overall evening was wonderful. We visit Martini regularly (5-6 times per year) and it never disappoints.
The wait time was a bit long considering I made a reservation and my filet did not come out right. But I do not think any less of them because of this. Every place has mistakes and the service was the best I ever had! The appetizer was delicious and the wine was amazing. I will definitely be coming back.
Our servers name was Brian and he was fantastic! Great menu knowledge, and also had a great personality! This was our first time here, and we already made reservations to come back in a month! Thank you for the great food and great experience. See you soon!
Meal was delicious, but it was super busy. Even with a reservation we had a table crowded with people hovering waiting for their own table.
It was excellent
Stylish, attentive service, and good food. The specialty cocktails weren't particular special or delicious - but that was my only quibble.
We had our fencing club dinner at Martini Modern Italian during USA Fencing Junior Olympics. The food was very good and the service excellent. The noise was a bit loud, but that seems to be par for the course in restaurants these days. Plus, the restaurant was packed, and we had to wait 15 minutes despite making reservations. Dishes that made an impression: Lamb Papparadella, Calamari, Bruschetta, Tiramisu. Overall, a great dining experience, and we will return if we are back in Columbus for another tournament.
