I was seated promptly and the waiter thought another guest was coming, because the host failed to remove the napkin and silver from the vacant seat. Therefore, I waited nearly 20 minutes after my drink order for the menu. A two top ~10 feet from me had seated a very well-dressed lady, apparently some sort of celebrity, because the manager was heaping very loud praise and admiration for the lady.He was so load, a group of four behind him, got up and reseated themselves in the back of the restaurant. He flitted around the room making gestures to the wait staff and even delivered food to the "celebrity's" table. After I ate my three course dinner, with significant time between courses, and waited for a check (at least 20") I had been in the restaurant nearly 2 hours, with no opportunity to order a second drink. This general manager was the least attentive I have ever seen at a Cameron Mitchel restaurant. I'll be surprised if he is still there the next time I go there.
I have never had a bad experience at Martini and their food is always amazing. Such a good spot for date night!
What a fabulous night! We arrived early and sat at the bar and took advantage of the half price drinks and appetizer happy hour. The drinks were excellent! I would bet they are the best margarita and old fashioned in town! The food was out of this world too. We enjoyed the mozzarella plate appetizer, the osso buco and the butternut squash tortellini for dinner and the chocolate bread pudding for dessert. All were some of the best food my husband and I have ever eaten. To add, we have been a lot of places. And the bartender was personable and attentive. All together it was an excellent night and we will definitely keep Martini Modern Italian on our restaurant repertoire!
Beautiful place , great food, but we were rushed out , HONEST REVIEW:
had a four course meal with a bottle of wine. As soon as the appetizer came out They wanted the dinner order and the desert ASAP !” There was no time in between to let the food go down before she was already trying to have the next meal out , we finished eating our dinner she asked if we wanted dessert (which we did) , I asked “ if she can give me five minutes to go over the dessert menu “ she said she cannot give me five minutes she needed the order sooner than that.’ Maybe it was just our luck but if you’re trying to have a decent conversation over dinner in the early evening, I wouldn’t suggest to do it over dinner at this place . (Kinda ruined the mood) tbh

The staff went further than I could have ever expected to make our experience phenomenal. They were one ingredient short of completing a special and not often made cocktail I requested, but instead of apologizing and asking me to choose another drink...they sent an employee to another of their restaurants to retrieve the missing nectar. That level of service and dedication to the customer will keep us coming back. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

While the ambiance and the aesthetics of the restaurant was great, it did fall short on food, service, and value.
First of all the server pretty much took care of the whole room we were seated in which looked to hold approx. 40+ people. It also barely looked like the distance was 6 feet between tables/diners. While she did a great job of making sure we were doing well with water and soda refills, she did not ask or even acknowledge the need for a second old fashioned for myself.
Initially the sound(music) in the room was too loud for us to hear her great us and respond to her when she approached our table. All of us had blank stares for her.
Appetizers - Beef Carpaccio and Tuna Tartare
Tuna was outstanding and all loved it. Beef was great but the drizzle of sauce with it did not seem to blend well with it. 3 of 4 of us ate it an had same response.
I had beet salad and was great and my wife had the house salad which was good as well.
My 13 y.o. had the Clams and pasta and enjoyed the flavor/presentation but stated the he felt there needed to be more clams.
My 9 y.o. ordered the kids grilled cheese and tomato soup. For a very finicky child, she said it was the best she had and nearly ate the entire thing. Believe me that was a huge compliment and it was presented well and certainly was worth the cost.
My wife decided to have the Lobster Risotto as her entre and it was a good size but she felt it also lacked the main ingredient - lobster.
I ended up with the Osso Bucco and thought presentation was good and it was served very traditionally. The veal was tough and dry and lacked flavor, the accompaniments were good.

Too many people dining there without good distancing or barriers like I have seen at other CM restaurants during Covid. Disappointing

Dinner was absolutely amazing!! Our server was excellent.
Wife got the penne with vodka sauce and she savored every bite. Simply the best she's ever eaten. I had the 10oz filet and it literally melted in my mouth.
Bartender made us the best Mojitos we've had in ages, kudos!
Overall this place is amazing, we'll definitely be back!!

My husband and I made reservations for a later dinner at 8:45 on Valentine’s Day. We waited about 15 minutes before they seated us. It was fairly loud with music playing and there were a lot more people than I initially expected would be there. The food was so amazing and we were surprised how delicious our steak was as we have been to Hyde park which specializes in steaks and we both thought the steak was just as good if not better! We will definitely be going again. We also enjoyed salads and desserts. All were fabulous as well!

Loved the service and the food! We had a great girls night at dinner. I will say, the hostess person with the flowy pink dress was super annoying lol she was stomping around the restaurant attacking way too much attention and disrupting our evening.

The food was incredible! Service was slightly slower than expected, but not too slow. We waited primarily for our tab to get closed out, but service was great otherwise. The restaurant is beautiful, but was slightly louder than expected.

Service at the bar was great. Food and service in the dining room was just okay. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. Calamari had no seasoning, and dipping sauce was bland. Mozzarella appetizer was fantastic. Bread they bring to the table is just plain white bread. Maybe my expectations were just too high for the place. Dinner -Chicken Carbonara was good, but a little pricy for something I could make at home or get at Olive Garden.

Seated half an hour after our reservation. Did the wine pairing menu, and the wines came out significantly later than our dishes so we had already almost finished eating. Steak was unevenly cooked

We sat at the bar and “G” was our bartender and so much fun. She offered great pre meal suggestions and mixed great cocktails. My steak was on point and my wife’s salmon was cooked perfectly.. Camron’s restaurants are known in Columbus for awesome quality and this place didn’t disappoint... we will be back..!
Nice place with an interesting menu. We ordered the 3 course meal from the restaurant week menu which included the amazing arancini, deliciously prepared short ribs (smallish portion), a bit overcooked/dry OK salmon, and excellent lemon tarts. Front of the house is much louder than back of the house.
Started to get busy and overcrowded and in a COVID environment I expected them to a bit more aware of seating people with more distance.

Service was very slow. We made a reservation for 8:45 and got in closer to 9:30. Our server stopped by and grabbed our salad and drink order and maybe stopped by a couple more times to get a drink order and run away. It took a while before we were finally able to order our dinner. It was 10:40 and we decided we wanted an espresso martini to close out and the server said “sorry i thought the host stopped by every table to announce last call, we can’t get you one”. Mind you we waited for a while for him to return to even order it. The service was iffy but the food was DELICIOUS and once ordered came out at a great time. Ambiance is great. I still will go back for the food and drinks alone.

I usually always give Martini’s 5 star ratings and I go there fairly frequently but last night was not the typically excellent in all categories night. I was a little taken back at how busy and crowded the place was. People seem to be fed up with quarantining 4 of us went to dinner together. 3 of the 4 entrees delivered to us were not hot. My husband chose to send his special prawn preparation back to the kitchen. The other 2 of us chose to eat ours as they were. It was so noisy in the upper dining room where we were seated that communicating with our server was difficult. He had trouble hearing us and vice versa. But I have to say the experience was an exception and not the rule. We will be back.

Food was awesome, but way too many people and poor social distancing. There were crowds shoulder to shoulder in the waiting area, tables were too close together and most chairs were less than 6 feet from chairs at other tables.
