We’ve been here a few times and keep coming back. Love the fig martinis and the food was delicious as always. We have yet to have a negative dining experience.

The food and service was excellent. I thought it was a bit pricy, and maybe that was the main reason why the restaurant was oddly empty for a Saturday Evening.

The Martini Grill never disappoints. I treated my daughter and her boyfriend to dinner and we had a great time celebrating his birthday. The food is always great and the service for this special occasion was outstanding. Try the brie with shrimp and the fig martini when you visit.

Dinner was very disappointing. Service was non attentive. Appetizers were pretty good but that is where it ended. The entrees were extremely salty and the salmon was inedible. Dinner for 4 of us was almost $300. In a row of stores. Not worth 1/2 that. There are much better restaurants out there.

Food was amazing and portions huge. Both my wife and I took home enough food for another meal. Service was polite but slow. We waited a long time even to be greeted and long between ordering and each course. Waiter was super nice and polite, but still dragged on a bit.

There was a large group finishing up as we arrived (saw the check delivered), but they did not leave until our meal was almost over. And boy were they noisy! Maybe a few too many drinks.

The restaurant was too dark. I used a flashlight to see my food. Ambience?

Because the food was so delicious I gave a high of rating, but be prepared for slow and noisy.

Food was excellent. Service started out great but changed at time that check was requested. The biggest issue was the automatic 20% tip applied to the check. That is too high for an automatic tip applied after the tax was applied. In no way should an automatic tip be applied on tax.

First time to Martini Grille but will DEFINITELY be back! This was a 4-person business meeting — great service, fantastic menu and good value.

We will be back!

We have dined at the Martini Grill numerous times in the past. While we have not been there in about six months we were very glad we chose to go there again. The whole dining experience was just as good as it was the last time there. We will certainly be dining at the Martini Grill more often.

What a hidden gem! I'm not from the area and picked Martini Grill for a business lunch and I totally lucked out. The food was outstanding, the service was wonderful and reasonably priced. I only wish I lived closer - I would be a frequent visitor!

The service was slow but well worth the wait. The food was outstanding. I had the lamb shank and it was superb. My guests were all very happy with their selection as well. The seafood risotto looked great.

This is one of our regular go to places. Food is freshly and properly prepared. Service is attentive and professional. After you are seated, olives, caponata and fresh warm bread are brought to the table. Pasta is done al dente as it should. Seafood is fresh. All brought piping hot to the table. Don't miss the Godiva dessert or creme brulee to end a very satisfying meal.

We have celebrated two special occasions at the Martini Grill and both visits were outstanding. It has an interesting and well-executed menu and excellent service.
Our server/hostess/bartender was amazing! The bar area is so nice we opted to take a table in that area during our first visit. The dining room is very pretty and comfortable as well. I only wish we lived closer so that we could visit regularly!

Very disappointed at the Martini Grill. This was the restaurant where many years ago we announced our engagement...We have been dining at Aret's cozy little Italian place since it was called Osso Buco... He always paid close attention to the tenderness of his Calamari and his signature anchovy dip. His special meat dishes were prepared to perfection and accompanying vegetables were always fresh and tender. Aret would visit your table and tell you how he hand- picked those little green beans. Every dish was excellent but last Friday...we were not the only guests complaining about the food that night. Our Calamari was so chewy, you couldn't eat it. The Broccoli Rabi was so old it was tasteless. Others in the room complained about the vegetables being inedible because they were raw. We asked for Aret, we were told he was busy in the kitchen. Perhaps Aret wasn't even there.
In his defense, I will admit my husband's Stuffed Pork Chop and my Ahi Tuna Salad Appetizer were excellent. The olives, eggplant and bread are always a special touch and wine list is excellent and fairly priced. Many of us have also enjoyed his signature dinners on New Year's Eve.

A little disappointing - go there 5-6 times a year. Risotto wasn’t cooked well. Very hard.
Carrots we cool to cold and hard. Lobster was over cooked. Reminded me of microwaved pizza texture.
Generally a really nice place and food typically great! This time it was a solid meh.
I’ll go back but now wondering if something changes in the kitchen.
Service was also slow. Wasn’t that late but felt like they we slow and strange they were not more attentive to the table.

Martini Grill is one of our usual go to places. We have eaten here many time with no disappointment. Seafood is fresh and prepared as requested. My filet mignon arrived hot and medium as requested. Portions are healthy and occasionally enough to take home. Jimmy took good care of us this time and always.

We had dinner with friends at Martini Grill. The inside is very cozy and warm. The appetizers were excellent. My husband said it was the best calamari he had in a long time and the lobster bisque soup was just so yummy. Our entrees were also excellent. The portions were a very nice size. We had creame brûlée for dessert and I can't remember when I had one that was better. I think we have found our new favorite. We will be back.

We were pleasantly surprised with everything at the Martini Grill. One criticism was our martini's were not served until after our appetizer was served.
Dessert was amazing! Presentation of all dishes were top notch.

I've eaten at the Martini Grill on numerous occasions and always found the food to be quite good. However this was the first time I have gone for dinner as opposed to lunch. Only complaint during lunch is that service is slow. They advertise live music on the weekends and there was none. We used a groupon so it was a spectacular value but there are some limitations so I'd suggest calling to find out more info before purchasing a groupon. Still well worth it. The Martini's were meh, mostly because I just wanted a regular gin martini and all they had were vodka based specialties. But I'm sure those are more popular with the masses. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has good ambiance. Overall I would recommend it esp if you're local to Carlstadt, Woodridge, Hasbrouck Heights, etc.

First time at the Martini Grill and will not be the last. Everything was very good. I enjoyed my swordfish and my husband enjoyed his salmon. We split the appertizer which was plenty for the two of us. I especially loved the olive bread that was brought to the table.

Food was amazing, ordered tuna app. to share, plenty of food, salad had a wasabi dressing which was so good. I had the salmon over veggies & noodles, great taste, my friend had the pork loin, she loved it. The presentation was so nice & the food was delicious. We also tried the Martini's, I had the fig & she had the mango, both were very good. I am looking forward to going back & getting different ones.

The staff were gracious, although a just bit slower than we wanted. We had explained that we were in a bit of of a rush.
The food was divinely prepared. There were 3 of us and we all happened to order the duck, which was great! The cocktails were prepared precisely to our orders. This restaurant is definitely a find and I look forward to going back, when I can eat at a more leisurely pace.
