Marsilios Kitchen Ratings and Reviews
We got stuck in traffic so we were 25 min late and they accommodated us with no issue. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and entire staff was friendly and attentive to our table. The food tasted authentic and fresh. This was our third time here and look forward to our next visit.
This was our second visit to Marsilio’s in its current location. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service and the atmosphere. I had the seared scallops and my husband had the meatball/chicken Parmesan combination. Dessert (pumpkin cheesecake) and tortofu was excellent. Even though it’s quite a drive for us to get to Marsilio’s we will definitely be back.
This has always been a dependable favorite. The food always excellent but today outstanding. Appetizer shrimp francais alone would prompt a revisit. Scallops were large, tender accompanied by mushrooms and spinach in a wonderful sauce. My wife had veal parm- a classic dish, but much better here. Portions large- take home for tomorrow. Recommend without reservation.
We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back. I think you cannot go wrong with any of the signature dishes. The Veal Salimboca was fantastic! My son’s seafood pasta was a bit bland, but filled with seafood. The portions are very generous and the staff friendly. You will leave stuffed, happy and sleepy - just what you expect from a very satisfying Italian meal.
I was really disappointed with my visit this time. My waiter was off, and brought me the wrong dinner. He then he came out of the kitchen a few minutes later with a Luke warm one. He was not very attentive, we ordered a nice bottle of wine and poured it ourselves. It was a birthday dinner and was noted in our reservation however, they somehow forgot when we ordered dessert to put a candle in it. My last trip here in September was amazing! What a difference a day makes!
My husband and I went to Marsilio's on Saturday night to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. We went on dates to Marsilio's many years ago when it was located in Trenton. The new location and new owners have done a great job serving the original dishes along with other new dishes. We've gone to this location many times and have always enjoyed it. I received an email with a free birthday dessert so we enjoyed a choice of any of their desserts.
A great gathering place with family and/or friends for authentic home-style Italian cooking. Comfortable atmosphere, consistent service, friendly staff and a varied wine list with enough selections at varied price points. Definitely a restaurant to return to again and again.
We loved our dinners -- a seafood special with shrimp, lobster tail, clams and mussels in a wine sauce over linguini. Martinis were good and the sausage skillet appetizer also delicious. Our favorite part was the service.
Our server, Dee, was attentive and delightful. She checked with us regularly to see how we were doing, and drinks were refreshed quickly. It was a great, comfortable evening and I can't wait to go back.
I'm pretty sure the food will be just as good. And I'm going to hope that Dee will be our server.
We had a wonderful time here! The staff are very friendly and attentive. The head, Allen, and his wife are also very attentive and take the time to personally greet guests. Great ambience and the food was also very good! My husband and I definitely recommend this restaurant. We will be back!
