This was my first visit to this restaurant and I chose it for Fathers Day Bonner. Very neat building, as it is in an old converted church. Service was excellent and the food was very good. I enjoyed the Gumbo and Lamb Chops.
The food was fantastic and our server, Tyler, was awesome!
It was so good!!! The food was delicious and plentiful, the atmosphere was very nice and the service was excellent
Excellent across the board.
The crab cheesecake was delicious. I ordered the rib eye medium rare. The ribeye was over cooked and tough. I question the quality of beef the restaurant is serving.
The overall atmosphere is wonderful, and the food is excellent as well.
This is a New Orlean's themed restaurant in a renovated church, which makes for a really cool environment, unique in New Hope. The service was excellent, and they even put rose petals at our table for our anniversary. Most of the food is not Cajun or Creole, but they have nice New Orleans options. The Bread Pudding was amazing, for example. Particularly good for friends who like creative settings and fine dining.
Another perfect meal. Served by Adrian! Love this place!
Girls night out. We traveled about an hour and fifteen minutes to the restaurant. It was well worth the drive.
This is our family’s favorite special occasion restaurant! So much to love about it. The service is always unparalleled, food exceptional and atmosphere elegant and unique.
Our two waiters, Adrian and Jack, were outstanding. As experienced and professional as any at the finest restaurants anywhere and the food was exceptional.
Dinner overall was good, but for the price, it was not great. Some things were good, some things were average, service was terrific for the most part. There's a large painting overlooking the dining room showing a fairly gruesome battle and slaughter of two lions. I had always wanted to try this place, and maybe my expectations got ahead of me, but I was ultimately underwhelmed unfortunately.
Disappointed in our waiter. He was all over the place and. Ever was there to attend our table. He took forever to take our order. We love the place but hated the service this last time.
The waiter Tyler was excellent and food was very good. Really liked the old renovated church setting. A little loud for a date night but overall a positive experience and we will return!
My cousin and his wife went here for their anniversary and could not stop talking about it. I surprised my husband and brought him here for his birthday. What a wonderful experience, excellent service, excellent food, had an amazing time. We also caught a show at the Bucks County Playhouse and then came back to the restaurant for dessert. You can't go wrong with this place, so many great things about it!! Thank You, we loved it and will return again very soon.
Great dining and service! Perfect for a special evening entertaining friends from out of town
We like it here ! Never disappoints !we look forward to our next visit!
It was loud, expensive and the food was beyond mediocre. Our server was attentive but could not make up for the food.
We celebrated our 25th anniversary here. The table was nicely decorated with rose petals and the food and service were outstanding! We are so going back!
I debated whether to say I'd recommend this to a friend only because I don't want my friends taking up what could potentially be my reservation spot there.
Absolutely incredible experience. I knew once I tried the bread that we were in for a good night. It was warm and delicious. The BBQ shrimp appetizer was tasty. I ordered the Manhattan filet (10oz) and my wife ordered the catfish. Both were extraordinary. I got a little depressed as the steak started disappearing because I knew my meal was soon coming to an end. We had the creme brulee and Jim's church Coffee for dessert. Both were par for the course with everything else. The service was outstanding. Tyler was attentive, super friendly and thoroughly knowledgeable about the menu. I cannot wait to go back. My only (slight gripe) was the tables are a little packed in, so it felt a little bit cramped. But that's such an insignificant issue in the overall grand scheme of our experience. In all honesty this is my new all time favorite restaurant, so check it out if you're in New Hope. You will definitely not be disappointed.
Anniversary dinner for my husband and I. I expected more out of the food selection, flavor and presentation. Disappointed! Both of us. Food was average. From beginning to the end. Our server and his assistant were great.
our experience at marsha brown's was fantastic. the atmosphere, the food and the service were outstanding. our server mic was attentive and informative. overall an excellent experience. :)
This was my very first visit. I was so Impressed with the personal attention to every detail.
Beautiful ambiance in a church with high ceilings and nice stained glass windows.
Had a wonderful birthday dinner complete with a decorated table. Wait staff was excellent and so was the food.
Not many patrons. The restaurant was quiet and the food meal was delicious.
The only issue we had was my wife and I used the elevator, as she recently had surgery, and we were left to figure out the elevator for ourselves by the hostess before I asked another employee for help.
Besides that, the rest of the night was amazing. Food was great and our waiter was wonderful. They were very accommodating for my wife in asking what she preferred for seating. Our waiter was prompt and helpful.
Excellent food and service
A birthday dinner. Place was very busy, much more than last time I was there, so noise level was loud. Food was terrific as in the past, and service by Jack and team very good. Slab of bacon and the scallops on pork belly was great. Being a Saturday night of holiday weekend may explain energy level. Valet lot was even full so they couldn’t park our car. Overall a great experience.
BBQ shrimp were good. Filet not cooked to order. Crab cakes? Were very dry. Staff seemed annoyed when we said our experience was "ok". Never asked if we wanted refills for our drinks, had to ask twice for simple things.
Not going back.
Went for our Anniversary dinner. Service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. Made for an amazing night. The crab cheesecake was fantastic. Very rich and flavorful. We had the jambalaya, which was good. They should offer it by the cup so you can have some while trying some other things. We also had the lamb which was season and cooked perfectly. We were not too thrilled about the crawfish risotto. For dessert, we split a bread pudding which was one of the best that I have ever tasted. Looking forward to a return visit.
This was our second trip to Marsha Brown. Our first was a few years ago. Experience was ok
This time the food was not good. We ordered Catfish and it was very dry. Gumbo was ok. For drinks we ordered Martinis. the glasses were not filled. Since we are paying for a whole drink, I think we should get a whole drink. When we brought this to the attention to our waiter he referred it to manager after a while he brought a little extra for one guest. Not the other ones that ordered the same drink- mentioned this and he was not happy.
Got the glass filled but it took some time. If you want a great experience try Anton's in Lambertville.
Amazing food and service! My husband and I went to celebrate his birthday and got a free picture framed and dessert on the house. Big shout out to Dan our waiter and John the manager who made the experience even more fun and special!
Wonderful food and excellent service. Marsha browns made our anniversary extra special. We will definitely be back!
My friends and I absolutely love this restaurant. It is of good size but still feels very intimate and the staff treats everyone very special. The food always makes our world stop as we taste and savor each bite. Very much worth the trip to New Hope.
This one of my top 3 restaurants of all time anywhere. I live about 3 hours away, but have made the trip, sometimes staying overnight, specifically to have a meal at Marsha Brown. Been there about 6 or 7 times and it never disappoints. Aside from the food, the professional and personable staff has always made it a dining experience. For this particular occasion, we were privileged to be served by Mick. People like him are some of the restaurant's greatest assets.
Loved the whole experience, the atmosphere, the service and the food, all were exceptional
Excellent all around.
We really enjoyed the food. It was creative and a nice change. The ambience and the service was wonderful. Would recommend to anyone that thinks the menu looks good.
The food was superb and service fantastic! Can’t wait to go back again!
