Mentioned it was my wife's birthday and asked for a nice table for two in the online reservation. Got a romantic table on the altar, and the maitre 'd and at least 3 servers wished her a happy birthday during the evening. Food was delicious and presented well. To top it off, my wife was offered a complementary dessert for her birthday. All around excellent restaurant in a beautiful and unique setting.

Hi, The service was excellent. It was interesting to be in a church looking around at the beautiful stained glass. The food was heavy handed. Too much salad dressing followed by too much sauce on the steak.

As usual the food and service were excellent. I would recommend the Manhattan NY strip Steak. Service was excellent as usual and our sweetheart table was nice to celebrate our anniversary.

Stunning dining room, great menu, delicious food, great ambiance, impeccable service, pricey but worth it for a special dinner. We had a fabulous dinner with friends and look forward to dining here again.

Great bar scene, right out of New Orleans! Friendly, knowledgeable, bar staff and lively fun spot on Saturday after Bucks County Playhouse and a 🚶🏽 in New Hope.
Beautiful restaurant with excellent wait staff wearing white shirts, black vests. We both had surf/turf-perfectly prepared. Prices-think New York.we shall be back‼️

Food was marginal and poorly presented. Asked for our steak to be cut so 2 could share. Slapped on a small app type plate with nothing on it, nothing. The risotto was mushy

I've visited Marsha Brown's for the first time when I was spending a weekend in New Hope Pennsylvania . When I made the reservation several weeks ago I had told him that it was my girlfriend's birthday . To my surprise and hers they remembered and decorated the table. Food was phenomenal service was very good only downside I can think of was they seem to rush the the courses. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others and will return when I'm back in the area

Took my girlfriend out for a ‘Nice’ dinner and was NOT disappointed. We were greeted immediately upon entering and taken to our table upstairs. I put on the reservation that it was for her birthday so I guess they marked the table because the server wished her a happy birthday immediately, the floor manager wished her a happy birthday, someone came up and took a complimentary birthday picture... and she got a delicious creme brule desert.

Our server was John, and he was amazing. I made a point to go to the floor manager (who was standing by the door to shake my hand on our way out) of how awesome John was. He was attentive and fun, and his recommendations were spot on.

The food... oh good lord the food. Get the Crab Cheesecake. I don’t care if you are deathly allergic to shellfish, this is a perfect last meal for you. I went with the Stuffed BBQ chicken and my GF got Salmon and Shrimp, and we ordered a side of Smashed Garlic Bliss. Everything was cooked to perfection, and tasted out of this world.

The desert list... I would have ordered one of everything if I wasn’t already so full from my dinner. My GF got the creme brule which was phenomenal and I opted for a Godiva Dark Chocolate Martini (also comes in white chocolate) which... while not necessarily a ‘desert’, definitely served the purpose and was also delicious.

Can not recommend checking this place out, I know we’ll be back.

What a treat! The food, drinks, service, and ambiance were all excellent. The dining room is lively and a bit loud, but the overall atmosphere is great. I ordered the bacon and crab cakes-- and was not disappointed. If you're looking for a great night out in New Hope, PA-- look no farther than Marsha Browns.

Our server, Mike was wonderful - he gave a great history of both the restaurant and Marsha Brown, and was forthcoming when asked for recommendations. It was our anniversary, and they had us at a special banquette strewn with rose petals - nice touch! The crab cake appetizer was good, but not special. The crab cheesecake appetizer was really special and unique! Our steaks were mixed up in the kitchen - his came medium rare and mine medium. The creole rub was delicious! We did not call this to their attention or I am certain they’d have fixed it. The complimentary dessert was a delicious bread pudding served with vanilla sauce and ice cream. The restaurant is a unique venue - a restored church complete with stained glass. Lovely to look at, but very loud! All in all, a special night, but not a place we need to go back to.

This was our first visit to Marsha Brown’s after hearing so many great reviews. It did not disappoint. We went for our anniversary and we were treated to a lovely table and great service. The menu is full of tantalizing options which made it hard to choose. Guess we need to visit again so we can try the rest of the offerings. Our meal was delicious.

It was my boyfriend's birthday and I was looking forward to celebrating it at Marsha Brown's. We had drinks first at the bar which we thought was great. When it was time for our dinner reservation we were taken to the third floor and located next to a door where the xtra chairs were kept and an exit where items were stored for service. It was a terrible location. I know we booked late in the week so this could have been the issue but overall we were extremely disappointed with the service, food and ambiance. We would not go back.

Food was delicious. Elevator was a bit worrisome for someone who cannot climb stairs—hope it’s always kept in good repair! Our server was very good. The only problem was parking. I don’t think charging dinner guests $10 for valet parking is justified. I had crab cakes for dinner. They were very tasty but the presentation was poor- three lonely cakes on a plate-not too attractive-could have used some embellishments.

Lamb chops had alotof grizzle, steak was acceptable but for the price point of 40+ both should have been much better quality... servers seemed more interested in getting to second and third bottle of Pelegríno constantly refilling... overall the focus seems to be to get the most money out of your pocket... surprisingly, they didn't up-charge for butter/spread and bread...That type of business plan likely works most of the time in this type of touristy area...

The server was professional, the drinks and appetizers arrived quickly and we enjoyed the fresh raw oyster bar and other delicious bites. The service was superior to most restaurants in the area and I would definitely go again. It's a PERFECT place to dine prior to a show at the Bucks County Playhouse or for any other special occasion. This was our first visit to Marsha Browns and it won't be our last!

Just had a terrific anniversary dinner. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable mostly because of our waiter, Tyler. The restaurant was busy with people celebrating Halloween but the drinks and food arrived quickly and efficiently.

Tyler was very attentive and knowledgeable and at no time did we feel rushed or ignored.

All in all, well worth the 35 minute drive and we will be sure to return in the near future.

What a fabulous meal at Marsha Brown. The crab cheesecake was a revelation, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Service was impeccable - staff was attentive, knowledgeable and unobtrusive. The size of the restaurant does not lend itself to an intimate evening, but for a family or group outing, it is a marvelous space.

Food was outstanding. The jambalaya had just the right amount of spice to it with plenty of great ingredients. My husband had the tournadoes - perfectly done with good flavor . The restaurant itself is a bit noisey but the food and service more than made up for it.

I never ate at a church so lets start there. It's obviously beautiful... because it is a church. The staff are super nice and the food is amazing. The waiters watch your time limit for you which is also a lovely perk. The food appears small on the plate based on the composition, but there is a ton of food, very hardy. I had the eggplant Ophelia and my mother had the red snapper and I didn't even finish mine...both were amazing. A darker atmosphere inside when the sun goes down but very comfortable, I would say comparable to Butcher and Singer but way less expensive, which is always nice. I would go there again any day. It is a mix between a luxurious restaurant and affordable comfort food that is a bit more glam in its presentation. You can go there for a romantic dinner just as well as you can go there for business meeting or a Friday night with family.

My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary at Marsha Brown and we picked absolutely the best spot in New Hope. The food was fantastic across the board from appetizers to dessert. We mentioned in our reservation that it was our anniversary and were surprised with a special table with rose petals where we could sit side-by-side. The service was impeccable and the wine list was excellent as well. I would highly recommend Marsha Brown for a special occasion or a really nice night out.

Lamb chop for appetizer for me. Mussels for daughter. Eggplant Ophelia as main course. Salmon for daughter. And a shared birthday dessert of the bread pudding. Oh my! Go. That is all.
