   Such a great find! Welcoming staff, cozy atmosphere and delicious food and cocktails- this is my new favorite spot in the neighborhood.

   It was a lovely neighborhood spot that recently renovated. No idea what it previously looked like but the current establishment is quaint and authentic looking. The staff was very pleasant. We started with steamed clams followed by roasted chicken and squash tacos. The food was very tasty, the portions on the the small side. Still we had a very pleasant evening and were glad to have chosen Mar's as our spot that night.

   Living a block away we pass by this corner restaurant and we were curious about visiting and experience it. The most delicious French onion soup, the lamb chops also perfect with potatoes au gratin and spinach. The chocolate ganache was also superb. These were accompanied of gulps of a 2017 Malbec that was incredibly well paired. The jazz music and the ambiance is also very good. Andreas, our waiter was excellent.

   The ambiance of the restaurant is very classy and warm. It's a great spot for a date or just happy hour at the bar for some good oysters. Every dish we had was delicious and well balanced. Will definitely be coming back!

   Decided to give this place a try after perusing the brunch menu. What a great decision. The restaurant is very cozy, the service was the right amount of attentive, and the food was divine. I had the poutine and wanted to sit there all day and eat more and more of it. My friend had the mushroom toast and also took advantage of the $2 oysters to have three as appetizers. She enjoyed everything, too. I cannot wait to go back to Mar’s, and encourage everyone else to go there, too.

   Good Oyster Selection. Pasta was great! They accommodated our vegetarian request too for the Pappardelle.

   Great atmos and beautiful interior styling. Slightly slow - albeit apologetic - service. Food and drink more than made up for it.

    Matt the our waiter that afternoon was great. I love the food, service, music and ambiance at this location this is why I recommend it and return.
