Marriott Shoals - 360 Grille - Florence
Food was excellent! Service was fantastic! Can't wait to go back and dine here again.
Revolving Restaurant overlooking the river and town. Service got off to a slow start but our steaks were great. The creamed spinach fell apart but everything else was good and we enjoyed ourselves!
Great place. Friendly. A little slow service. Good food.
Started bad we arrived early so went to the bar and stood at the bar only to be ignored while the bartender held a lengthy conversation about Cam Newton being a monster so we decided he wasn't going to serve us so we went back to the hostess to ask to be seated early. The two servers we had for dinner were Awesome. Everyone at the party ordered the Filets which were tender but did not seem to have any seasoning the other three members of the party ordered theirs Medium Rare where as I ordered Medium and to be honest I believe it was rare (cold red center) didn't complain as I knew it would take :15-:20 minutes to correct. When we were ordering we inquired about the difference in the 360 Filet and the Filet server told us the 360 Filet was two ounces more and $1more thus they were $37 vs $36 as per the menu. When I reviewed the bill the next morning (my fault for waiting) I was charged $46 per filet.
Fantastic experience! The food... the service... The view! We will definitely be back soon.
The menu selection should be expanded. If you intend to portray your establishment as five stars, the try to emulate other great restaurants around the country; e. g. , The Inn at Little Washington, Barboursville or the Ashby Inn, all in Virginia. The use of paper menus is a bit tatty.
Best pomegranate martini I've ever had. : ) I love the 360 Grill. Food was delicious and such a wonderful atmosphere.
Great service, good food, great atmosphere. Our waitress was great
Overall a nice experience. A little pricey; as in not an every week thing, but nice for a special occasion.
Attentive service and the filet was cooked perfectly. We also had the red snapper that was delicious!
Steak not as good as it has been in the past.
Still think you should serve prime rib.
You should also have a salad choice on side menu.
My wife and I have enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance of this restaurant for several years. On special occasions, we have had good food and service. This last visit was well below the standard they have delivered in the past. Food was just not good. Appetizer (foie gras) was not up to par, entree (grouper) was not cooked properly and was poorly plated. The asparagus needed a steak knife to cut and was too tough to chew. The only bright light was the dessert (creme brûlée) and the wine; a very nice Chenin Blanc that came from France.
360 Grille continues to be a gem in the Florence area. The staff is just the right level of attentive. The food is consistently good. You cannot beat the ambience. The views are spectacular - particularly when there is a beautiful sunset.
We came for our anniversary and it was a very pleasant experience. I think the menu items were a bit pricey for the amount you got, but it tasted great. The views were amazing.
Service was excellent.
Flavor of all food was excellent
However, the steaks were ordered medium, but they were both over cooked and a tough. The flavor was good, but they were over cooked.
The food was overly seasoned. The servers didn’t seem to know what was going on. They seemed frazzled. This was a disappointing experience.
We had a reservation at 8:15 on a Sat. night. I was very surprised to see there were only a very few other tables seated when we arrived. We chose the 360 Grille to bring my son and his girlfriend, whom we were meeting for the first time, and wanted to make a good impression. They both drove from Gadsden and this was everyone's first time to eat at the 360. We were all very excited. My husband and son ordered the ribeye steaks and they both arrived very much overcooked. I encouraged them both to send the steaks back but they were hungry and ate them even tho they were overcooked. I feel a $40 steak should be cooked the way it's ordered and I truly wish my son and husband had sent their steaks back, but they chose not to do so. OK, now on to the highlight of the evening! As my son's girlfriend was eating a bite of her wild mushroom risotto, she pulled a big, sharp piece of plastic out of her mouth that had been in the rice! This was not a small piece of plastic! It was a big, sharp shard of plastic!!!!! It could have been a disaster, but we are so thankful she wasn't injured while chewing on that sharp piece of plastic in her mouth! I, also, had the wild mushroom risotto and, after seeing what was in our guest's rice, I was not comfortable eating mine from that point on. Of course, we asked to see the manager. He came to our table and we showed him the piece of plastic that came out of the risotto and he listened to our complaint. His solution was to comp our guest's meal and give all 4 of us free desserts. We all felt very disappointed, especially since my son and his girlfriend had come all the way from Gadsden and we had chosen the 360 Grille as a very special place to take them. We called the waitress back over to the table and told her, considering our situation, we felt 4 free desserts didn't exactly balance things out. Our bill would have probably been $250 or so, but the manager eventually comped our entire visit except for a glass of wine my husband ordered
Food was great, service was excellent, drinks were perfect. Tha manager and staff were super!
Once we got off the elevator we were greeted and pleasantly taken to our seats. The servers were very attentive and helpful. I chose the Pork Chop after reading in the Shoals Marriott magazine lobby that was the suggested entree to order at the 360 Grill. It was a large portion but dry and pretty bland. The risotto and parmesean was very good. My husband got the rib eye and said it was ok but had better many other places. We chose the crabcake as an appetizer and it was very good. Even though disappointed with the entrees, we still enjoyed experiencing the 360 Grill, slowly rotating and seeing the views.
My wife and myself came for our 25th wedding anniversary and the service was awesome. the steak had so much flavor words can't describe, you just have to eat one for yourself.
After the meal we was also treated to a special dessert that was made just for the occasion. It had written in chocolate HAPPY 25.
VERY HAPPY WITH EVERYTHING.
It was a lovely setting &, for the most part, met our expectations. I knew it would be expensive &, although the food was good, I could have used a bigger portion!
Celebrated 3 girlfriends birthday and it was wonderful.
It was a beautiful experience. Never have eaten that high before! Service was great as was the food. It was very enjoyable.
Our first experience at the 360 Grill was fabulous!
It is the quietest restaurant I have been in ages, which is a good thing. I wish more restaurants would think more of ambiance than they do numbers. The food was good and for the price it was a little high but expected for the ambiance. The staff were great at taking care of us. Excellent night for our anniversary.
We came for our Anniversary and had a wonderful time and everyone made it very special for us as well we would so tell everyone to try this place for any special event.....
Thank you for helping us make our evening more special
this was by far the best dining experience I've ever had. we went for my wife's birthday and they treated us like royalty. its was so quiet and peaceful. got there just in time to see the sunset. the food was incredible we had the fillet 360 with mac and cheese. and had the tiramisu cheesecake for desert. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a nice romantic dinner.
We thought the food was good but the service was lacking. The bread was hard and tasteless.
Brian took very good care of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
Fabulous food as usual. We enjoyed our Filet Mignon and asparagus. Cooked perfectly.
View was amazing. Food excellent as always. Service was marginal. When you spend $350 for four people you would expect better
Some of the food was cool but the entrees were were done nicely. Our server, Beth was great. Very attentive and friendly.
A wonderful experience and the food is excellent! Not to mention the service.
This was our first visit, but definitely won’t be our last. The food & experience was AMAZING!
This is a very unique restaurant in that it has a spectacular rotating view. That is what makes a trip here worthwhile in my opinion. The food is good but no better than any other fine dining restaurant we have eaten in Northern Alabama. I will give a credit to the chef for always having very FRESH tasting seafood however and this is no easy task . Also the host gave us a great table and our server was outstanding, she could not have been better 5 Stars *
I do not write reviews; however since you asked: We spent the weekend at the Marriott venue and dined at 360 for our Anniversary. While we enjoyed the concept we were not pleased with the product. The waitstaff was very attentive however the drinks were poor and the entrees were severely lacking in quality. The scallop appetizer was spot on and then the rest was downhill. The "steak" did not even resemble what was described on the menu and the pork chop was way overdone especially given my request to have it less than medium and more to the medium rare side...…..it was medium well to well and dry. I am not a fan of bringing a bottle of tap water to the table/tap water is just fine when poured into a glass.
My husband and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary with an outstanding dinner at the 360 Grille. We had scallops as an appetizer, which were delicious. My husband and I both had steaks, the ribeye for my husband and the Filet 360 for me. My filet was the best I’ve had in a while. I cannot say enough about our server, Richard! He was energetic, attentive, had great suggestions, and even treated us to complimentary dessert in honor of our anniversary! Five star experience, for sure!!
After 3 attempts to get our steaks cooked the way we wanted (Medium) we gave up. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset and views of the river but the food was lacking. I felt they were trying to be to upper class, I feel that they should concentrate on just doing the basic things very good then add in some flare
Your restaurant is gorgeous. The view and the gentle revolution are so relaxing.
That said, the food wasn't exceptional and certainly not worth the prices charged.
I would return for the overall effect but would order very small offerings from the menu.
My mother treated me to dinner at the 360 Grille for my 70th birthday. Food was delicious, seasoned just right, served hot. Ambiance was delightful- we saw both a lovely sunset, and a full moon rise. The quiet atmosphere was especially nice for my mom who doesn't hear well as it was quiet enough for us to enjoy conversation. Staff was most attentive. Would definitely recommend.
