   Good not up to its usual standards. With a 6:30 reservation we were told the kitchen closes at 7:30 pm. When asked we were told on busier nights it closes at 8:30 pm. I guess Marouch is now appealing to early eaters only.

   I was initially turned off by the fact the restaurant is in a strip mall next to a 7/11 but when we entered the restaurant, we were greeted so warmly and we were taken care of so well, I forgot where we were. The food was excellent. We shared a few mezes including hummus and baba ghanoush. And then four of us shared the 3 person shawarma plate which was truly delicious. If you are in the area, I highly recommend checking this place out. Service was very good as well.

   We loved Marouch! We enjoyed every single dish — hummus, salads, lentils, beef/chicken/lamb kabobs, fluffy rice, labneh, babaganoush, and Armenian wines! Our waitress was lovely and attentive, and the ambiance was a happy positive one. We also enjoyed the rose water custard sprinkled with pistachios. A dining experience not to be missed…!

    Despite being a large party, they were still very attentive to each of us and food was served reasonably fast. They were kind and played music to sing happy birthday for us. Overall the food and service were top notch!

    Marouch was outstanding. Being Lebanese you have very high expectations for Lebanese food. If it’s not like mom makes it, it doesn’t pass the test. Well we brought mom and she couldn’t get enough! She ooohed and aahed all through the meal. Don’t let the strip mall turn you away. Though not in the best neighborhood the place was immaculate. Highly suggest giving Marouch a try.

    Totally a hidden gem in an unassuming corner plaza. The food was absolutely delicious and the family owners were super accommodating. We had the mixed grill platter and the hummus + falafel combo - could have easily fed four people.

    I love Marouch, it has been a family favorite for as long as I can remember and it is one of the only places in LA for the authentic Mediterranean taste and environment.

    Best middle eastern food in LA! So good. The outdoor dining set-up isn’t super scenic but given the circumstances with the pandemic it was so nice to have such a high quality meal.

    The food was outstanding and the portions were great. Our server was welcoming and helped us navigate the menu. He did a great job helping us choose just the right items and they were all delicious. Parking is a little hard, as the lot is small. We were able to get a spot on the street just a few doors down. If you decide to go, be prepared to feed the meter. The restaurant is simple, with outdated decor, but that didn't take away from the dining experience at all. I highly recommend you stop by. You want be disappointed.

    Service was amazing , food is poor quality and im sure that not Lebanese or Armenian cuisine , the outdoor setting is front of parking and its full of homeless people , i don't recommend this restaurant .

    Its been awhile since I had dinner at Marouch and have to admit our group was a bit disappointed. Sadly as in many location in L.A. the homeless are sleeping in the parking lot making for a unpleasant situation as one has to almost step over people to get to the front door. The appetizers and rice remain as good as we remembered, but the quality of the lamb kabobs were really poor. If I had been blindfolded, not sure I would have recognized them as lamb! The roasted tomato was not completely cooked and my friends chicken kabobs had an odd seasoning. If I return, it will be only for hummus, pita and falafel.

Sat, 12/7 was a rainy day & most homeless tend to find shelter in shopping centers.     Delicious authentic Lebanese food. A little overpriced compared to similar places. No alcohol at the moment because they are renewing their license. Definitely worth checking out though!

    There was one server, who did his best to hustle and keep up with all of the tables as the restaurant grew more busy. There appeared to be a couple who might have been the owners sitting at a table. They weren't eating, and from time to time disappeared into the back. Never once did they raise a finger to help out the server, never once did they check on customers to see if anything was needed. They could have filled water glasses, bused dirty dishes, shown that cared even a little bit about the customers. I did not get the impression that they cared about the customers one bit. The server was great, but it was too much work for one person, and these "managers" should have done something to make the dining experience more enjoyable.

One of the owners is our head chef whom we respect due to her amazing work ethic. She inspires us as a team & is here from open to close.
