   This place is top of the line! Each table was decorated with fresh rose pedals! The lighting was great, the table was rectangular with us on one side, looking out to the rest of our portion of the room, and the service was as good as it could be. We were celebrating my wife's birthday, and the staff all took turns wishing her well. They also gave her a birthday card with all staff signatures on it! Yes, the food was out of this world! each of the 5 courses was amazing, and the cocktails and wine pairings were special! It is very pricey but this is top notch!

   Consensus was your Truffle Navy Bean soup was sensational. Wine parings were very creative. And your deserts were the real treats. Our waiter Josh was articulate and knowledgeable.

    Impeccable service and fantastic food! Very noisy and not really set up to attempt to mitigate noise through materials in the space to absorb it. It is very expensive but I didn’t feel that it was a bad value / just not a good one.

    Amazing start to finish! From the moment they called to confirm my reservation along with any food allergies until we walked out the door to leave we were taken care of like family. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Every member of the staff was incredibly polite, respectful, and helpful. Our waiter Zach was personable from the moment we sat down. He explained every detail of the menu and how the courses would flow. Everything was perfectly timed and exceeded expectations. The ambiance, food, and staff easily make this one of the best places I have ever dined! 10/10 recommend

    As always, great food and perfect service. Prompt service but never rushed. The food was unique and delightfully prepared. Everything was perfect. We couldn’t ask for anything more. The best restaurant in Puerto Rico for our anniversary dinner.

    Recipes Creative, delicious, original and prepared with attention to detail. The staff was delightful. I see people recommending specific servers — Amber was awesome — but I suspect they all are. It’s a treat!

    This was our second time at Marmalade. Each dinner was just great. We spent a bit more and had the wine pairing and it was well worth it. This must be one of the best places to dine in Puerto Rico and next time we travel to San Juan we will eat there again. You do need to make an advance reservation.

    Outstanding. The ambiance, the service by Eric , the knowledge of wine and food by the staff. And the food was delicious. My wife and I selected different dishes and all were amazing. The elaboration of each dish and the flavors are hard to find in other restaurants. I cannot praise enough the friendliness of every person that works there. Great job.

    One of the best meals we have ever had. Food is terrific, Isa, our server even better. It is an expensive meal so be prepared for that. I would suggest doing the wine pairing if you are a wine lover.

    We had a wonderful time at Marmalade! The food and service was top notch! Honestly it was all wonderful if I had to pick one shining star it would have to be the halibut! It was so good. One recommendation I would have is to offer some wines from the finger lakes (NY). They would really pair well I’m with the lighter proteins.

    We had an amazing time. The food and wine pairing was wonderful, but the service really made the experience top notch. Our server, Eric, was excellent. Everyone was excellent, honestly. Very knowledgeable and passionate about the food they served. Loved every bite of it!

    Had such a great experience! Carla was very knowledgeable and the staff overall was so gracious! Food was delicious, not a single complaint at our table. Highly suggest doing the wine pairings! Carla was kind enough to substitute one option for our friend as they had two dishes with the same wine, she provided something similar but unique. Loved it all!

    So we have to decide where to start. Marmalade may be one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in or been associated with. We have eaten all over the world and done numerous Michelin’s. Marmalade is at the top of the restaurant pyramid. First, They make you feel incredibly welcome. Remember the fact that you’ve been there before and offer up food that is so incredibly sublime as to make it difficult to find descriptive phrases. The service is over the top with each of the staff knowing everything about everything you are participating and partaking of. Our food to say the least was extraordinary. My wife and I agreed that if we were living in the area it should be a place to go once every other month or every month. I have no concept or clue as to how they can do it better. I would easily put them up against the top five in New York and believe it would come out here or at the top. The interesting thing is that every nook and cranny of your dining experience has been carefully orchestrated by Chef. For example, I had a drink that used an ice cube, which contained, two different types of chilies that have been infused into the water than frozen. Why you might ask? Because as the drink lingers, the heat infused in the ice cube gives it additional punch. Who knew? Everyone working there is enthusiastic and knows much more than you could ever imagine. Our server is a sommelier who also provides food education during the course of the meal. I should also note that we did the wine pairing which she explained in full detail. Particular note is the fact that she not only knew the wines cold, but even came up with a list of four that we will no doubt order when arriving home. Even though we did the wine pairing, for my dessert, there was, based upon the menu, a bourbon old fashion that just absolutely blew me away when it was paired with my dessert. The only troublesome item is that I have to travel to Puerto Rico in order to visit marmalade more often.
