Try the old fashion and the Waygu Sirloin. Awesome
Definitely not landmark quality. The food was just average and it was empty even for lunch. My food was not well seasoned and not even well-dressed. I would only eat there if there were no other options, fortunately there are plenty other options in Colorado so I did not eat there again for the remainder of my visit.
We had a large party and everyone was happy with their meal and the service. We sat at a table near the pedestrian mall so it was nice for everyone! Thanks!
We went for a birthday. Ordered the "special" 2 oz Porterhouse - medium rare - had chef julien it - we shared. Excellent quality of the meat as well as execution. Have the Blackberry Old Fashioned at the bar first whilst waiting for table. Staff excellent. We will be back.
It seemed like the wait staff was spread too thin. I have food allergies and while most restaurants are very careful, I didn't get this feeling here. The waiter was unable to confirm ingredients of all my food so I could be sure I was safe. I don't recommend this restaurant if you have food allergies. I had the Uso Buco (? - pork) and it wasn't very hot, plus it was dry. Others in my party weren't wow'd, either.
Wonderful service- old school menu- quiet- easy to converse- old building, nice character great location- easy parking nearby. Just old style traditional menu.
Food was average. Most was not outstanding, but burger and fries were above average. Enchiladas(? ) were premade and looked dry. Breakfast skillet dry. Salad with pears, goat cheese and pecans was very good. Manager comped our desserts due to several snafus in booking. Creme brulee was mealy, not creamy but cheesecake very good. Waiter was attentive.
Went for business lunch - 6 people, restaurant was not busy in any way. 54 minutes in, we didn't have food on the table. Took a 1 hour business lunch 45 minutes over. 1 hr 45 minutes to eat lunch.
My wife and I had a great time at Marlowes. Sean is a great waiter and the soup was awesome (clam chowder), and the meal was great. I highly recommend Marlowes
Food was great, environment was on point to wind down after work.
It was great.
Nice setting with windows and dark woods, good location, fairly good service. Thankfully, they were able to seat us near a window without notice. The Butcher Special Steak was tasty but thin and the cheesecake was not New York cakey, too creamy. We split the entre, had a $37 bottle of wine and it was still $125 before tip.
They need to bring back some of their menu items. Great for happy hour as well.
Came here after a busy day meeting business friends for dinner. The retaurant has lovely dark wood, very warm and friendly. Service was great. Everyone had a great meal.
Good food, not many options for healthy eating. Our waiter was not friendly, just seemed put upon. The waiter at the next table was so kind and attentive I wish we sat there
Great staff. Attentive and the food was yummy. We ordered muscles and they were to die for
Group of 9. From the specials of the night two ordered the seafood curry dish - They were a bit disappointed as it was lacking in being full flavored. I ordered the surf and turf stirfry and it was absolutely amazing. Others ordered the muscles appetizer and they were happy with it as a full dish. The steak salad looked and tasted amazing. The calamari appetizer and a brussels sprout appetizer were both very good. Good food for a good price.
Excellent food and service. Convenient parking nearby (Denver Pavilions parking garage). It's a roomy place, too, so you don't feel crowded or hurried.
We had a business dinner here and while the food was good, the service was terribly slow. The steak salad included two tiny medallions and cost $20. It was tasty and steak was cooked to my liking, but seems quite pricey. It would be tough to get me back to this place with all the other options on 16th St.
very courteous staff. Great Ahi tuna salad! Nice and fresh
Great spot in downtown Denver! I had the chili rubbed Wagyu sirloin and my wife had the char grilled Scottish salmon. Both were fantastic! Our server appeared to be a little overworked in her section but did a fine job. The atmosphere was classy and we were treated to a small table by the windows next the the 16th Street Mall that made for some great people watching. A wonderful meal in a beautiful restaurant.
We had an amazing evening with great food and our service the best we have had in Denver
It had been a long time since my husband and I had gone out for a date night. Jordan was our waiter and we really enjoyed him!
Great food and service! Especially because they were the only ones with an affordable steak for New Year's. Great ambiance! Will be back again.
Wonderful meal on New Years Eve! Service was great....all parts of the meal were fantastic.
Delicious food. Comfortable seating. You get a quality meal for the price you pay.
Steak was overpriced and not impressed at all, especially with the service
Wonderful NewYears Eve dinner. Everything was perfect.
Visiting from out of town and stumbled across Marlowe’s on open table. So glad we did! Hands down best brunch! We got the medallion steak and eggs. So tasty! Steak melted in your mouth. Also, a side of breakfast sausage. This was our server’s recommendation. This was unlike any breakfast sausage we’ve ever had, I think he said from a buffalo? He recommended it over a side of bacon which who on earth does that? Well now we know. Incredibly tasty. We also had a build your own bloody which was good! Great last morning brunch experience thanks to Marlowe’s and the awesome service. I feel horrible I can’t recall our servers name because he was awesome and deserves a shout out but must of been the foodgasmic coma blanking my memory.
We've dined at Marlowe's many times, this evening was lovely. Food was wonderful, service was just a bit slow on the 2nd round of drinks, but overall excellent.
Service and food wasn’t worth it. Go to Earl’s so much better
Always Good food and service. I have been there 3 times and would go back.
We went to Marlowe a year ago and had a wonderful experience. This year was quite different. The restaurant was empty yet the service was horrible. Our waiter acted like we we're inconveniencing him for dining in the restaurant. Food was okay but nothing to write home about. Very disappointed with the experience.
Had lunch on a very cold day, our server heath made sure we were taken care of. Thanks
Our Christmas Eve dinner was great! Our server was super. Can't wait to go back
While not necessarily “kid-friendly”, they did a wonderful job accommodating our 3-generation party of 9 for dinner on Christmas Eve. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Server seemed to have been having a bad day which would of been okay if my appetizer, and my dates and I’s entrees were good. They were not. My steak was way torare so They took it back and cooked it more. It was then to well done. Not impressed at all. Wish i wouldn’t have payed. 1 star. Never will go back.
I have been to Marlow's many times for work and loved it. My husband has never been so I thought it would be a good for a birthday dinner. He LOVED it.
Nothing bad, but really nothing that distinguishes it or sets it apart from the multitude of places downtown. No real identity. Food was decent, as was the service. Good, actually. But certainly not great and nothing that I would say they specialize in. Would return, but won't go out of my way to get there.
A nice selection of tasty appetizers and entrees, and a satisfying wine list, makes Marlowe's a good choice for dinner. The wait staff is pleasant and efficient, and the atmosphere is comfortable and elegant at the same time. Their location next to the Paramount Theater is a plus.
