Outstanding service and food. We did not feel rushed at all - really enjoyed the whole experience.
Made the reservation for 6 people, and upon arriving, discovered that one couple was bringing their dog. We asked to be seated out on the patio, and the restaurant willingly complied and set up for us - even though they were not ready for that.
The food was amazing, with creative textures, flavors, and combinations - and the innovation was matched with marvel at each bite.
Food was delicious, chef accommodated special requests, very nice experience overall.
This place is a hidden gem!
We were meeting family in Greensboro and didn't realize that there was a concert in town. The original restaurant that we intended on going to had a very long wait. We had our 10 month old with us so long waits aren't good for us. We found Mark's restaurant available and we are glad we did! The food was amazing and there were some very unique choices to pick from. They were able to give a high chair for our little one and checked on us often to make sure that we were doing well. Great service. We are new to NC and so far we have not been disappointed with the restaurant choices. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you!
We had a lovely meal at Marks this week. Food was exceptional, service impeccable and overall atmosphere was very nice. Very friendly staff at both the bar as well as the dining room. We were greeted by the Chef, upon arriving at our table. The smoked trout "tater tots" were a most unexpected and delicious appetizer. Wine selection by the glass was interesting and well priced. My friend and I will definitely be back.
Great place to celebrate a birthday with friends and enjoy a quiet, well-served delicious lunch. Food is prepared wonderfully and service is top notch. Have dined there before and will continue to do so. Salads are so fresh and the scallops are excellent.
Mark always delivers. You don’t have to wander if the food and service will be impeccable...it always is!!
Very nice Valentine's dinner. The goat cheese salad was great and we both had the duck breast entree which was wonderful. We shared the bread pudding dessert and it was delicious as well. William was our waiter and he did a great job! All in all, we had a wonderful meal and we highly recommend Mark's.

Have been here several times since moving to Greensboro about 2 years ago. Food is consistently amazing, service is excellent, ambience terrific. I can’t come up with any negatives- Mark’s is a treasure!

We had a very good meal and a fabulous bread pudding dessert. What I noticed.. the entree menu hasnt changed in at least a year?
I ordered the salmon per menu. While eating dinner Mark came over to say hello. I asked him what was in the bean vegetable that made it so delicious? He proceeded to tell me how he sourced the salmon. That it was farm raised organic. He was very informative. Mark needs to remember..dining customers want to be romanced when reading the menu.
My recommendation: Liven up entree description and add new entrees to your menu. We had a lovely dining evening :)
Birthday lunch with friends. Delicious!
One of the best restaurants in Greensboro. There are many dishes with unique and unusual ingredients, combined creatively. The specials this time included Wild boar with a dried cherry sauce and a lamb stew that was as good as it gets. Excellent and attentive service, what more could you ask for?
Food was excellent. Bob, the server, was very professional. He knew the menu and specials with several recommendations. Had the calamari appetizer. Perfectly prepared. I had the shrimp/lobster ravioli. Also perfect. My wife had the filet...beautiful! (The steak and the wife). My only concern, the food seemed a little slow coming from the kitchen?
Mark's has an exceptional lunch menu. Mark the Owner/Executive Chef creates the same high level of flavors & creativity in his lunch menu as he does in his dinner menu. Perfect place for business lunches & catching up with friends lunches.
Always a lovely way to spend lunchtime with my daughter...a lovely vinho verde to enjoy our meal of the cheese plate, sliders and quiche...if we lived in Omaha we would come more often...service from Maren was impeccable and professional...thank you very much!
Mark’s has become a family favorite. The food and drinks are exceptional. We enjoy the staff. It’s always been a good time.

New Years Eve. Everything wonderful
Not sure what happened but both my girlfriend and I became very bloated following our dinner. It was disappointing because I thought the food was good.
Good meal. Flavors were good. Service was great. The dessert was amazing!

I've been wanting to try this restaurant for some time as I have heard good things. My husband and I enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. We can't wait to go back again!
The menu is extensive for lunch. Quality and presentation of food was excellent. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Coffee refills were offered several times which was nice and more than we experience at other places. We will add Mark’s to our regular rotation for lunch out.
My husband and I were out for our anniversary. Our dinner was delicious, however I had my heart set on the Chilean Sea Bass but they ran out after I ordered it. The chef was gracious enough to offer dessert at no charge. Will h that said, the dark chocolate bread pudding was not desirable.

Our meals were delicious and varied...all kind of "regular food" but prepared by a first class chef. I had trout that was served with a touch of green tomato salsa on a bed of lemon risotto and accompanied by fresh veggies (brocollini, brussels sprout, sugar snap pea, asparagus). The serving size was more generous than other upscale restaurants that serve pretty food, and I cleaned my plate. White tablecloths, candles, friendly service made for an elegant but relaxed dinner. We felt the prices were lower than we had expected for the high quality of the dinner.
Food was superb as always
Consistently good food and drink in a nice atmosphere. Remember to ask for the chocolate souffle when ordering entrees as these take about forty minutes to make - and they are made fresh. I love having the souffle with a small glass of Port and the end of my meal.
Wonderful food in a quiet atmosphere. Taylor always does an excellent job serving. The crab cakes were exceptional!

We love Mark's, and have never had a bad experience, or bad meal, or bad drink, here.
We haven't even had a "Gee, that was pretty good, but there was one little slip up."
The menu changes, and always has a great variety of choices, including small plates that could be a meal if you want something lighter or smaller. Mark puts as much attention and care into the small plates as he does the entrees and specials. The specials are wonderful ... have you ever had wild boar? I had not, and knew I had to try it as soon as I heard it. It did not disappoint!
Go visit Mark's, but don't tell TOO many of your friends .. I don't want it to be impossible to get into! :-)
Tender, tasty beef filet with foil gras, the best. Outstanding chocolate soufflé, difficult to find entree and dessert on restaurant menus, in a class of its own.
