We enjoyed our dinner and our waitress Daren was immaculate. We were told happy anniversary 5/6 times. Greatly appreciated. We would have definitely loved a complimentary “happy anniversary” dessert/ chocolate syrup on a plate or something. But, overall the food and the ambience was great. We will definitely return.

We’ve dined occasionally at Marks over the years when visiting in town. It has gone down in terms of the quality of food. Our NY strips were tough and full of gristle. The waiter was attentive but rushed us through our meal. When spending $250 for two on a meal we like to relax and enjoy it not race through it in an hour.

As always outstanding. In my opinion, best steak in Ocala. Had the filet with the Maytag blue cheese topping......wow! Only complaint would be that it is noisy but that is something that is hard to curtail in a busy restaurant. wklc

Four of us went on a Wednesday night. The place was pretty quiet. We had a reservation and we were seated right away. Our server was very helpful. The food was very good. Of course, it is a little pricey but well worth it. We are always on the lookout for a nice restaurant for special occasions. This place is perfect for that. I cannot think of one negative thing to say about the evening.

The meals we choose for dinner were amazingly delicious and the kitchen staff did a beautiful job presenting the food. Our waiter Daniel and his pier were top notch and explained the menu simply. The Manager stopped by and asked us how everything was. Thanks for a special evening for our 42 anniversary.

We were seated in a very nice corner booth. The entire staff was very pleasant and attentive. The food was excellent and prepared as ordered. It was our wedding anniversary and they treated us to a special dessert. The only negative I have is the noise level became quite high as the room filled. All in all a good experience.

The four of us were seated upon arrival, and were introduced to our server, Ray. Within a few minutes, waters were brought all around and our orders for cocktails came quickly along with fresh baked bread. My husband and I had the crab bisque, salads, petite filets, grilled asparagus, and corn casserole. All were excellent. The steaks were cooked as ordered and very tasty. Between the four of us, we were celebrating 2 wedding anniversaries and Ray brought terrific complimentary desserts. Very nice touch. We also took home the Mother's Day special dessert, Orange Butter cake, which also was fabulous. All-in-all, great service and a wonderful meal. Make sure to get reservations.

A great meal and a wonderful evening, prompt and friendly service, highly recommended. Had a family dinner and everyone enjoyed themselves. The food was outstanding - three of us had steaks and one had the Grouper. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the sides were excellent. A real surprise was the saffron risotto - it was absolutely delicious. The dessert special was an Orange Butter Cake and it was also amazing. Had a great bottle of wine, but since I was the only wine drinker they showed me a selection of 1/2 bottles and that was perfect. Always a great experience.

Just an FYI, we been here a # of times for the 🐎 derby and will be back, but this time I felt uncomfortable, unfriendly by the waiter’s attitude body language, just was stern, didn’t interact engage in conversation and our questions, just seemed to be having a bad day, it made us uncomfortable like he was in a rush , so we couldn’t enjoy our time and meal!

We are always very pleased with the service at Mark's and that's why we keep returning. The food is always very good. I am not a steak person and almost always get the twin lobster tails. Because I typically get a starter (sometimes a 1/2 salad sometimes an appetizer) 2 is more than I need, but I am happy to bring one home. I order them Grilled, and then add celery and a bit of may and make voila I have more than enough for a generous Lobster Roll for lunch! We love their creamed spinach and Brussel sprouts, but are not really a fan of their potatoes lately. We used to enjoy the Lyonnaise style but the last time we ordered them (not on this visit) they weren't up to par. We tried some type with jalapeno peppers and sliced potatoes au gratin but weren't a fan of them so we'll stick to veggies and skip potatoes in the future. It was our anniversary and they gave us a complimentary dessert which was lovely. The server said it was a small version of some type of chocolate mousse dessert they have on their regular menu. We don't usually have room for dessert. Oh and we love their Mark's infused Martini which is infused with whatever fruits are in season. Not being big drinkers, we usually just split one!

Great steak and sides. Our party of 3 had filets, two 7 oz and one 11 oz., each cooked to perfection. Sautéed spinach and mushroom sides were enough to share. Service was good but not great. Only small critique was that we all requested garlic butter on the steak. Instead of a small pat, it was like an ice cream scoop that melted on the plate to a pool. One ‘scoop’ would have been plenty to share. Maybe the servers can mention something to customers when ordering. Other than that, a great meal!

We come regularly and tonight was spot on. DelMonico was on point with a perfect medium rare sear and enough salt just to let the beef speak for itself. Mushroom and jalapeño au gratin potato sides were great and my wife enjoyed the spinach Asiago chicken. The shrimp and goat cheese grits were amazing. Would love to see them as an appetizer staple. We will be back soon.
