Marks’ vision for the menu is to create dishes with a hint of French influence, balanced with some Asian accents, along with good old American.

Never disappointed when I dine here - one of only a few restaurants that doesn't close between lunch and dinner - you can get a late lunch or an early dinner -
We liked everything except the noise level. We were seated by some very young children, which we understand. We had kids once too, however, there were many tables available elsewhere that would have been quieter for us. Or, more insulation or noise reduction features would have helped, too.
Sat inside which is very modern. Great food and variety
First time there and will definitely be going back!
Excellent Scallops for entre! Brussel sprouts and snack mac were 'just right' appetizers.
Food was very solid, not spectacular. Our service wasn't good (a good hour until we got our food), but it seemed like everyone else was getting their food in a timely manner...so i'll give them a pass. The flowers on the back patio were spectacular. We sat outside at 80 degrees and a light breeze so the patio was perfect. The have sun shades and trees so there's quite a bit of shade. If you like to sit outside or just want a complete change of atmosphere it would be a good place to try.
Our dining experience was good food excellent the only drawback was the noise level. In there defense there were several big tables.
Mark's was recommended to us by a friend, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere, service and food was outstanding! The menu was fresh, fun and creative. I ordered the Lobster and Scallop Risotto and it was delish! There is a lot that can go wrong with that meal, but this was perfectly executed and amazing. My husband got a chicken dish that was wonderful as well. We had some great wine and cocktails, and finished with the s'more brownie for dessert. I don't live in Omaha, but I will make this a restaurant I go back to when I am back in town!
We love Marks! It feels like a nice night out without being in-your-face fancy or pretentious. The food is always great and creative with excellent service. Definitely go for happy hour when you can get half price wine bottles.
Great food, amazing patio. Loved it! Good for kids on the older side.
Mark's never disappoints. A hidden gem!
Fit for foodies; informed server and quality experience
Usually Mark's food is excellent - but I was very disappointed in the tater tot appetizer I tried with my soup. They were nearly burned, and horribly greasy. I only ate a little.
Even the chicken soup (the special 6/12) was disappointing - not substance to it, and sort of blase tasting - boring and mostly watery broth. Fortunately it wasn't typical - but since you ask... I believe the others at the table were happy with their choices.
Always a delightful & delicious experience. The ambiance is impeccable. The salmon is quite tasty.
Marks Bistro never fails! Amazing food and service was spectacular. The specials were a Ribeye with some kind of herbed butter and Diver Scallops. I ordered the Coq au Reisling which was impeccably cooked and tasted great.
Great atmosphere. Got there at the right time on the right day just after dinner rush and had a relaxing dinner for anniversary. Food was excellent. Server very courteous and helpful when coming to the menu. Great to have Gluten Free options available. Would recommend for a special date spot.
Our meals were delicious and delightfully presented! Our waiter was knowledgable and helpful regarding dietary restrictions. We hadn’t seen each other in about 8 years and we had a lovely time visiting! Thank you.
Always a great atmosphere, great service and great food!
It was a special occasion however we frequently go there.
Leah greeted us with a friendly smile and promptly seated us, ensuring a special need was met.
This is an excellent, quaint restaurant. The food presentation is delicate yet explodes with flavor with each bite. The wine selection is mediocre, but the overall environment makes the dining experience fantastic.
Great ambience. The place looked fantastic. Very friendly staff, great wine selection. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Omaha
Great food, great service and great staff!
Everything that we had was amazing! The vichyssoise was delicious, the only complaint was that the celery garnish was too big to be eaten in one bite.
I love this place! From the food to the atmosphere to the service, it is just a great place to eat. Try the Mac and cheese. It is amazing!
Great service and food! Always enjoy going to Mark’s!.
Had the fondue, mac and cheese and Thai noodle bowl. All was excellent and so delicious! Too bad it was rainy today because they have the best patio in Omaha in my opinion!
The food was so good, especially the spring vegetable risotto. We also loved the s’mores dessert. The atmosphere was lovely and our service was perfect. The waiter did a great job of being attentive without being overbearing. We will be back.
I made reservations for our wedding anniversary, but they could not reserve the outdoor seating. I was bummed, but very nice about it. We were sat at a very small two-seater table inside by the window right next to another four-seater table. Not the best seat for a wedding anniversary seat... HOWEVER, they immediately found a table outside. It was a beautiful night, we had the 8-piece charcuterie tray (yum!), a couple glasses of Gen 5 cabernet (yum!), and some dinner. I had the warm spinach salad with egg, my husband had the 8-oz ribeye. The sauce on the ribeye was a a little off to me, but he enjoyed it. Service was great. Ambiance outstanding. Thank you for a great night!!
Great tasting entree at lunch and superior service
Fabulous as always! Great atmosphere, amazing food.
Went there for my birthday dinner and everything was perfect! The Brussels Sprouts were to die for and my scallops were amazing!
I'd always wanted to come here, and it was worth the wait! Every member of the party raved about each dish!
Very pleasant and excellent service
We love Marks. The food is very good. The grilled Caesar salad with a snack size Mac n Cheese is our favorite. The S’mores desert is delish and a special treat.
We were able to change our group size from 5 to 7 we really appreciated that. Our son Graduation party was a hit with Dan our waiter. He took excellent care of us. Thank you. Until next time.
Great dining experience. We had the specials which were scallops and rib eye. Both were just excellent. We also shared the roasted Brussel sprouts that are the best we’ve had anywhere.
Both my wife and I had the chicken salad sandwich, very good. She ordered a side of asparagus and although it tasted fine the portion was a little small. I enjoy Marks and plan to return again.
We've been to Mark's before so this wasn't entirely a surprise. Our server was great and very attentive and helpful. Our table (for four) was spacious and in a good location. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food *but* each of us had one or another issue with our meals. The menu was one of those that I call "restaurant froo-froo" meaning there are terms thrown in there seemingly to condescend to an average diner. The biggest negative by far was the noise level, caused largely by a couple of raucous tables near us and, later, vibrations coming from the bar below us. Consequently, we couldn't hear each other talk, which detracted from the evening.
