Marks’ vision for the menu is to create dishes with a hint of French influence, balanced with some Asian accents, along with good old American.
PLEASE NOTE: We accept online reservations for the main dining room only. If you would like to reserve a private dining room, please call. Patio tables are on a first-come, first-served basis.

There were a number of things that kind of ruined the event. The salad had too much sea salt to the point of crunching on chunks of it. The specials were presented without prices. The steak was too bloody and the waitress did not come back to check if it was ok even after a conversation about how well done it should be. And the steak had too much gristle to cut or eat. Loved the ambiance but probably will not eat here again.
Was really yummy. Service was good. Our server wasn't very talkative, but that's ok. We also didn't get notified of the specials that night, which would've been nice. (We heard them from table behind us) We both had the flat iron, and it was good, but not that flavorful. Brussels sprouts were great, tots were great! Had creme brulee for dessert, also very good. All in all it was a great experience, and I look forward to going back.
It was an ok meal. It jut seems that the quality of the food has gone down in the past few years while the price has gone up. It’s always been an “out spot” but am starting to think we need to find somewhere else.
We were a small group of 3 trying to have a conversation but had to compete with a family reunion. They looked like they were having a blast but would have been nicer for the rest of us if they had had a separate room. That being said, the food was delicious and I will try it again.
We visited Mark's in early January for our 32nd Anniversary. It was a wonderful night out. Our waiter, Tyler, was friendly, fun and very helpful. We each had a delicious craft cocktail from the menu - lots of creative choices there. We started with a Thai flatbread cooked perfectly with an excellent balance of sweet and spicy toppings. Then came a blended Moroccan soup made with squash and carrots - beautifully spiced (I thought about ordering a 2nd bowl). I had a mushroom risotto, while my wife had Thai Noodles for our main courses. We stole bites from each other's plates! The chef got both dishes exactly right, we couldn't have enjoyed them more. We also liked the music choices playing in the background - classic french jazz from Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli, great stuff. For the high quality of service, food and delightful ambiance, we think Mark's Bistro is a consistent winner.
As vegetarians, but not wanting "ethnic" food or just pasta on a recent outing, we choose Mark's. They have at least a couple entree options, nice appetizers and sides, a warm, semiformal feel, and we know the food can be very good. And as it turned out, it was quite quiet Wednesday night. We were very satisfied.
Another great meal at Marks. Started with a unique soup of the day and ended with their Cuban sandwich. Service was outstanding!
We were here for a romantic date and loved the food and experience! Our waiter was friendly but not overly attentive. They may have been short staffed because the service was a little slow, but we still enjoyed our dinner very much! Can't wait to come back and sit in the patio when the weather is nice!
The atmosphere and service was great. The food was ok. Both of the dishes we had were standard but nothing to rave about. We were not very happy with the size of the drinks. If you are going to pay $9.00 plus a drink, I would expect it to be in a standard glass. The drinks were almost half the size of others places we have eaten at.
I have wanted to try this spot for quite some time. I was disappointed. The setting was great. A restaurant where you could hear the people you were sitting with, sparkly lights and a cozy atmosphere. It was busy but not overly so. There were empty tables. Our waitress was overly attentive and inattentive. Taking our orders and then seemingly forgot what was ordered. Soup was served cold and my husband received the wrong type. I was just about done with mine before his arrived. Our drinks were served after the soup. Main meal was barely warm. The waitress interrupted our conversation several times to “check” if all was well. Offering dessert before my partner had even completed his meal. While the flavors were good, and I understand things must be prepped ahead, why would you not heat it thoroughly?
Maybe it was a poor choice of night. We felt like we were rushed. Spending over $100 and in/out in just over an hour. Not the romantic and memorable meal we had hoped for.
New Years Eve dinner with God Daughter.
The appetizer was great. We got the Fondu.
I got surf and turf and my steak was supposed to medium and it was medium rare. My god daughter got the bowl of seafood. Her fish was very over cooked and bland she didn’t eat it . My husband got the risotto which we have had before. They were missing the lemon and some other flair because it was very bland. There were so many problems it wasn’t worth complaining about all 3 meals on our New Years Eve night. But chances are we won’t return. Even if we wanted to complain we saw very little of our waiter other than major food and drink deliveries.
Our family of 4 enjoyed Marks Bistro for the first time on New Year's Eve. It was fantastic! The food, staff and overall atmosphere was amazing. We will definitely be back!
Great evening!! Thank you for a fun dinner before an evening out.
Got there just as they were opening for happy hour which is a killer deal! 1/2 off bottles of wine with the max discount of $50.
Great time. Dined a little later and disappointed they were out of a few dishes.
Enjoyed a great meal with good service for my wife's birthday.
The desserts and cocktails were really spectacular!
I always rave to my friends about the delicious smoked chicken lasagna. It's such a warm, cozy place and perfect for date night.
Been going here for years one of my favorites! Great food!
Have always been a fan of Marks. Again, we weren't disappointed. Beautiful view of snowy streets and quaint Christmas lights from our window seats. Gluten-free options were great and so necessary for a member of our party. Excellent service. Loved the brussel sprout starter plate.
Always consistently great food! Great service -- server Steve was efficient and nice with a great sense of humor.
Nice; enjoyed the experience
The restaurant is cute and inviting. The server was good, he was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu.
Charcuterie board, tomato bisque, pork chop, and the seafood risotto were pretty tasty. My husband wasn’t a fan of the duck ragu- said he couldn’t taste the duck too much.
Once the place filled up it became very noisy. The seating is a little snug as well. Three people at a small wall table is tough when appetizers are ordered along with everything else.
We met at Mark's for our semi-annual book club meeting. It was easy to make reservations on line, they were all set up for us when we got there, and the each person commented on how good her food was. I always enjoy the range from comfort food to things a bit more unusual on the same menu.
My wife and I go to Marks Bistro for any special occasion. It’s a wonderful restaurant with a great atmosphere.
We had a reservation and were seated right on time. I had requested a specific table at the time of the reservation but the hostess said the table was still occupied. She apologized and had saved us another table that was just as nice. I had the salmon sandwich and my wife had chicken. Both were very good. Our server was very good, hard worker. We spent about 2 hours but I felt we could have stayed there as long as we wanted . I like Marks, the staff and their food.
Great regular menu and fantastic daily specials. Fancy cocktails and great service. Was told it would be hard to get a reservation but had no trouble at all getting a table for 4 at 6:45 on a Friday. Will absolutely be back.
A wonderful venue oth delightful food choices and a warm surrounding.
Love that Mark’s has delicious vegan options. Service is always great. Love the cozy atmosphere too.
I was very pleased with the lobster and scallop risotto! I will order that again. Prices were reasonable and the view along the windows is nice, great for a romantic dinner. Parking is a bit of a challenge if you don't know the area so arrive early.
Mark’s is always a treat. Great food and excellent wait staff.
New to the neighborhood. Look forward to many dinners in future . Excellent food and service.
The food was good, but the time it took to get the food was not. We had ordered the cheese plate for an appetizer and it took a while to receive it. We had ordered our dinner at the same time and it took over an hour to get the food. Not acceptable.
Wonderful local restaurant that offers seasonal dishes. Great beer selection. Would recommend making reservations.
Wonderful atmosphere to celebrate my husband's birthday. Food and service was fantastic
We recently went to Marks to have a "reverse" dinner birthday celebration. We had the BEST deserts and wine. All of us agreed the Whiskey Bread Pudding is #1 on the list! All of us will be back....many, many times!!
Service was great! Bruschetta, salads, and French onion soup were all great. We were disappointed in 2 of our entrees as they were extremely over salted! We let our waiter know and we weren’t charged for these entrees.
Mark's is always a good time. The atmosphere, the staff, the food - It's just a great place to be. The mac-n'-cheese is phenomenal. If you want a mac-n'-cheese that will transport you to another planet of culinary goodness, go to Mark's. Seriously, I've gone to mark's three times and have gotten the mac-n'-cheese every time. I'm sure there other food is delicious, but I would feel guilty leaving without having their delicious mac-n'-cheese.
Took my fiance here which I never been and shared an amazing evening dinner date. Reservations were easy to make and service was excellent. Thanks, MARKS
Meat dish was very under cooked and had to be sent back which meant everyone else at my table was finished with their meal before I was starting my recooked meal!
I asked for coffee before my order was placed but it took some time to appear. After first cup was delivered, no refills were offered until others ordered coffee with their desserts.
Our waiter (who had little conversation and never smiled or made visits to our table other than first orders and then dessert orders.
Marks did not charge me for my meat entree (but I was not able to eat the entree while others were eating theirs).
