Excellent food and good service. The restaurant is rather open so the environment was louder than normal. We did not receive the appetizers we ordered but the meal made up for it.
First time in this restaurant.
We were RUSHED by the staff since the beginning.
The server kept coming to my table every 10 mins.
Food was not fresh, home fries were cold, food is not worth the price.
The location is nice, decor is also beautiful.
We just felt RUSHED during our brunch, when the place was not full.
Nothing special. Would not come back.
I have really enjoyed this restaurant in the past and have always recommended it to friends. However, the service was so awful during my most recent visit that it ruined the entire meal for my friends and me. The food was pretty good, but it wasn't good enough to make up for how terribly rude our server was. I was really disappointed and won't be going back and will stop recommending to friends and colleagues who regularly entertain groups for lunch and dinners in the area.
Why no Kettle One on the drinks list?
Food was very good. Service was excellent.
Really cute space w/big windows and lots of light, great location for lunch or dinner before/after Film Forum movie or shopping west village or Soho. Service can be slow but pleasant. I like the weekday lunch menu better than the weekend brunch menu.
Market Table never disappoints. The menu is fresh and creative. The service is seamless with the perfect amount of interaction. The chicken dish with hazelnut butter is so memorable it hurts that I can't have it every night.
We had a lovely dinner. Entrée prices were a bit expensive but the quality was high. The overall experience however was crowded and noisy which just could not make up for the delicious food and good service. We were super cramped.
One of the most underrated combinations of awesome service, great food (farm to table style) and bartending smarts... we had yet another great time last night thanks to Emma, Juan and Andrew, with heartfelt compliments to the Chef! SEE YOU AGAIN SOON!!

From the salads to deserts, really fresh and not your everyday tastes. Each dish had layers of taste that made our meal exciting with each bite! Would definitely recommend to friends and family!
It was almost too loud to have a conversation, the food was only ok, service was good but everything else was meh at best.
Unfortunately, not a good experience. The restaurant is very very loud. Main course for me was Pan Crisped Bell & Evans Chicken. It was extremely dry and tough. I never send food back, ever, but this was like biting into a big, dry, stringy, tasteless piece of overcooked meat. I asked if they could replace and they were kind enough to do so. I ordered the salmon special as they indicated it could be made quickly. The salmon smelled like burnt spoiled fish. It was an overpowering stench. Both my girlfriend and myself had a bite and both of us had that instant reaction of "what the hell did we just put in our mouth". We spit it out.
That was enough, We asked for the check and left.
$120 for that meal.
Excellent! I recommend the octopus, the pork tenderloin, and the hanger steak. So good!
Wonderful food and staff. Menu is made for small to large bits. Lamb shank was indulgent
Typical loud village scene and skip dessert, clearly not their skill set
Wonderful food and service
I heard great things about this restaurant, where a friend had a group dinner. It exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent and creatively prepared without being fussy. Very warm environment and excellent service. I will go back soon.
Service and food was amazing. Our server was so friendly and helpful. The butternut squash salad (seasonal special) was the highlight of the meal. Would love to come back!
Friendly vibe, lovely food and great service. Would go back anytime.
First time visit and definitely returning. Loved the friendly service, all of the great small plate choices, and the atmosphere.
Enjoyed this Great dinner. Fresh ingredients and Nice athmosphere. I would return
As always the service and the staff were great and super friendly. The food was wonderful and the ambience was very cozy.
I’ve dined at Market Table a few times. The food and service are consistently excellent. I particularly like the chicken, but everything I’ve ordered has been tasty. Nice ambience and lovely service.
We were welcomed like old friends, wonderful friendly service& oh the food!! Wonderful combinations of flavours, beautifully presented& brought a scoop of delicious ice cream with a candle for my mums birthday!
This was our third time at Market Table, and it did not disappoint. We have had consistently good meals on every visit. This time we did the tasting menu with wine pairing and it was wonderful !
My second time back and I'll definitely come again! Bear and Shea were particularly lovely hosts, providing attentive and welcoming service throughout our delicious meal. Highly recommend all the fish dishes (we had all three), the corn, watermelon + beet salad, and so much more....Thanks again to Market for a great meal and atmosphere.
Really lost on quality and gained in price, we used to go there quite a lot but will probably not return in a while...
Back again, and was again, straightforward dishes extremely well executed and served with a smile!
The waitresses are awesome. The manager is beyond accommodating and food is delicious.
Market Table is excellent. Everything is beautifully presented, original, and delicious! Service was very nice and helpful. We loved it! Thank you.
Brilliant food as always. Not much I can say, except this place is always good!
This is one of my most favorite places for lunch and brunch. I’m sure it would be equally great for dinner— It’s delicious, the service is super friendly and efficient and the ambiance is lively but not intrusive.
We were visiting the City from Colorado. A friend in Colorado had previously been to Market Table and highly recommended it. So, we went on a recommendation. Fabulous food. It's one to remember!
I LOVE this restaurant! I travel to NYC twice a year for bridal market and we always come to Market Table on the last night to celebrate. The food is delicious, creative and never disappoints. The seasonal cocktails are incredible! The appetizer menu is always fun and season appropriate - if you see Quinoa Hushpuppies on the menu - ORDER THEM!! Salads are always on point. Entrees are lacking in vegetarian options but they will always pull together something amazing that is not published - all the other entrees are delicious. Save room for dessert!!!
As usual food was very good and service (Emma/Emily) was excellent.
My out of town guests were running late and hostess could not have been more accommodations and friendly. No attitude or snark which is unfortunately present at many other restaurants these days.
My one note - where was the Ketel One?
Great food, service and atmosphere.
One word or warning, prices for bottles of wine were extremely high - not sure I saw a bottle of white for under $60. I would have expected to see a more balanced wine list.
We were visiting from Melbourne Australia and I had read a review in my local weekend Travel Section about Market Table. It lived up to the review with fantastic food and wine. We spent a couple of hours over lunch and it was well worth it. Best to book as it's gets busy even at lunchtime. Sheila
After researching places to go in th neighborhood, we choose Market Table. We were happy to see friends there who are regulars..and raved about the place and the service!
Our meal and service was excellent and will be back as regulars also!
Great food, service and atmosphere.
Super meal from beginning to end last night! Celebrated a wedding anniversary and the service was sweet and first rate. The food surpassed even that - everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. A great dining experience!
This was our first time at Market Table and it was amazing! We've been to one of their sister restaurants 'The Clam' which is one of our favorites and this place feels very similar in the quiet cozy atmosphere. Our waitress was amazing and so much fun, the food was phenomenal and the cocktails were delicious. I had the southern hospitality cocktail which the restaurant had a special going on for where half the proceeds go to the Houston food bank for Harvey victims. My dad had the pasta appetizer with broccoli pesto and it was fabulous and I had the corn and shrimp risotto which was incredibly savory, I couldn't get enough. Then for entrees we had the swordfish and the pork tenderloin and both were equally as excellent. I don't have a negative word to say about Market Table, everything was great and far exceeded expectations. We picked up a card for their second sister restaurant 'The Little Owl' and plan to try it out soon. Thank you!
Food and service was good but the restaurant was extremely cold which made it a not real good experience
