Located at the corner of Carmine and Bedford Streets in the West Village, Market Table boasts an airy dining room with exposed brick walls and large windows offering a view onto village life. The menu at Market Table is seasonal American, influenced by Chef Mike Price's childhood on the family farm in Maryland. Chef Price offers nightly specials that reflect his love of creating simple dishes with big flavors.

Both indoor & outdoor seating are available, with outdoor seating either on our covered front patio or in our all-weather tent with sky-lit ceilings & seasonal floral-filled planter boxes on Bedford Street.

Not a great experience. We had hair in our food and they forgot a side order. A friend ordered the steak and could not eat it. It was subpar. No do overs here.

Excellent experience. Arrived early on a Tuesday evening before the restaurant got busy. Our server was great : attentive but not hovering. Food was delicious, artistically prepared ( pea and asparagus salad); very fresh and satisfying. Looking forward to returning!

Good food. The menu changes often so there is always something fun to try. It was a little load to easily have a conversation on a Thursday night, but I would recommend this restaurant for the food.

Highly recommended. Intimate, casual, and welcoming, Market Table is a great place to eat with friends or family. The kitchen succeeds with a perfect balance of flavors and perfectly cooked meals. The chicken is perfectly executed, with crispy, flavorful skin and tender, juicy meat. Likewise, the vegetarian squash dish was flavorful and balanced. Before leaving, try the panna cotta for dessert, you'll walk home happily satisfied. The host seated us promptly, even though we arrived 20 min early. Table service was good, although not at par with the food, perhaps lacking in details. Although it did not detract from the experience, it did little to enhance it. We came here instead of its sister restaurant, The Little Owl, since they were closed for vacation. It did not disappoint. Overall, Market Table is a great value and well worth the stop even if you're only visiting the city for a few days.

Great experience!! Went with our family of five and everyone loved it. We sat at a table by the window in the bar area. Lovely atmosphere. We had several appetizers (beets, duck, burrata, and the pasta) and all were excellent. Everyone really enjoyed their entrees. I had the soup and gem salad for my entree and while the soup was amazing, the gem salad was inedible - way overdressed with a mealy dressing, not good. Everything else was so yummy and we had plenty of food.

During our visit to the SoHo area, we had a nice lunch at Market Table. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was flavorful and delicious. We very much enjoyed our meal there. Would definitely come back again.

Well, I thought the quality of food and service has slipped. The flavors and seasoning of the food was still delicious but the halibut was over cooked, (which is a real shame) and the Brussels sprouts were under cooked. Our server was more concerned with doing her side work than checking in with us. There was a mix up with our wine and we were never offered dessert. All in all, not the same experience that I used to have at Market Table. Quite possibly, this was just an off night. In the past this restaurant has been delightful!

This was among the most disappointing dining experiences I've had in a long time. While the food was delicious, our served was overwhelmed. We were sitting at our table for 45 minutes before our drinks were finally delivered (without any apology). Our first course came a few minutes later and was great... then there was another 30-40 minute wait for our main dishes. During this time our server never asked if we wanted another round of drinks. I would give it another chance (and hope this was just an off night) because the food was so good, but the service left a lot to be desired.

We had our dogs (2) with us and so needed to eat outside on what turned out to be a wet and cool day. The staff was so accommodating and made sure our area was dry and well heated. The service was excellent including a glass of champagne for our anniversary. Food was very good and perfectly cooked. Market Table has long been and remains our favorite restaurant.
