Market Street Kitchen Ratings and Reviews
Great food. Very nice venue. Will return again. Service was painfully slow, but we were early and had plenty of time. Our Server was also tending the Bar and distracted by that...I think she forgot about us a couple of times frankly. Tables seated after us were served well before our food arrived. Beware - if your server is seen tending bar also.
We have eaten at Market St a number of times, always very good food. This time both our fresh fish were substantially overcooked and tough. Tasty but....
If you order fresh fish, be sure to request proper cooking to your taste. Arrive during happy hour, stay for dinner!
Jasmine was very attentive and kind. We ordered the shrimp po’ boy sandwiches and thought they were good. The only thing I would have liked to change to the sandwich was a few more shrimp and a bit more spice. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely return.
A casual dinner with my family. Waitress was friendly and good. She made an error on my order. I ordered Prime Rib. She entered a Rib-Eye. So I sat there while my family ate for about 5-10 minutes. Not great. HOWEVER, she came out and owned the fact that she committed an error. She sincerely apologized. They brought out the prime rib and it was the size of 1/2 a cow. A much more generous piece than what I would consider a normal portion. The manager came by to make sure we were doing well and also apologized. They followed that up with a free house specialty dessert. People make mistakes. This was an honest mistake, and they made sure that they addressed it head on and made it right with us. The food overall was tremendous and the portions were generous and well worth the price. The cocktails were good as well. Overall it was very good. One small mistake that was more than made up for in the end. Highly recommend.
At 6:30 they were out of several entrees and a few appetizers. I requested a specific brand drink that they said they had but then when served to me, it was not the right one. I drank it anyway because I did not want to cause a stink but really not acceptable. Probably won't go back here. Positive: outdoor dining with friends was nice, everything else...probably a pass...
