This restaurant is permanently closed. Market Street Kitchen offers rustic, urban, market driven cuisine. Newly appointed and acclaimed Executive Chef Anthony Apolinar is at the helm, using his talents to offer a full-flavored experience. Timeless décor is paired with the western roots of North Scottsdale to create a modern, high-energy establishment that feels comfortable for locals and visitors alike. Rustic materials are applied with a modern appeal from a sandblasted timber ceiling to distressed wood adorning the walls. The all-star culinary team serves a menu of creative Southern style starters, approachable main dishes including Steaks, Seafood & Poultry. Featured at our bar is an exciting selection of Fromage and Charcuterie. Additionally, MSK showcases a wood-fired rotisserie used to roast meats and seafood to their fullest flavor.

Friendly service from all of the staff--great food and beverages--the Rotisserie Chicken and the Fried Chicken are delicious, and the Green Chile Pork is very tasty --- we will be back for sure!

We had a great experience here! We were seated right away, and everyone was very friendly. Everyone was on top of their game. The food came out very quick, was VERY delicious and steaming hot. Would definitely go back and try something new!

Both the prime rib and the flatiron steak were excellent, as was what accompanied them. Our server, Jey, was outstanding.

Deviled eggs and meatball appetizers were delicious. We had high hopes. The entrees were very lack luster. My fried chicken was moist but extremely bland. I pulled all the breading and skin off it to be able to eat it and still left a lot on my plate. I’m not much of a coleslaw person, but that was the most enjoyable part of my whole entree. My husband got the steak frites. Ordered medium and it was cooked medium well in part of it and well done on the ends. Oh well. Service was friendly and nice and the atmosphere was pleasant.

The biggest issue I have with this place is value. The food is decent for the most part, but the prices are way out of line in my opinion. The mussels appetizer is $18, and consisted of exactly 7 mussels! Wow, 7 mussels for $18. I buy mussels for $2.99/lb. You can go up the street to Spiga and get a huge bowl of mussels for $13. And Spiga serves theirs with great homemade bread, not the cheap toast points Market Street uses. My $18 fish and chips consisted of 1 piece of heavily breaded fish, and the fries were not fresh. My wife had the Scottish Salmon for $28, which was good, but a small portion. The MS burger is $16, for a 8-oz burger. Compare this to the famous burger at roaring fork which is a 12 oz burger with all the fixins for $15. Also this burger is only $10 on their 7 day a week happy hour. Prices aside, when we ordered a bottle of white wine, we had to wait for them to chill it. Even then, it was not to the proper temp by time we finished the bottle. With tax & tip, our dinner came to $123. This was a $90 dinner at best. There are just too many other better places to choose from to come back.

They brought the trout back. One of their best dinners. Good food and good value with a good wine and drink list. Pleasant staff

The many flies swarming in and out of our faces were intense, my drink was horrible and my salad tasted like “soap” as my friend described. Not one of the four of us ate our meals, I mean barely touched them. Such a great location and they used to have such great food. Too bad this restaurant has really gone down hill.

Always a wonderfully reliable local restaurant. The chicken main course was awesome and the
mussels - HUGE and wonderful. Very friendly upbeat casual environment. Our favorite go to
restaurant in Market Street area.

Phenomenal!! Friends and I made reservations and showed up way early, the staff were very accommodating and genuinely friendly. They went above and beyond with their attentiveness and suggestions for our mixed group (one Gluten Free). The drinks were delish and food was amazing. The Rotisserie chicken, green mac n cheese and mashed potatoes = YUM!! from the appetizers to the main course to the dessert board.. none of us left disappointed, this wasn't just dinner, it was a full blown dining experience!!

The Market Street manager went the extra mile on Mother's day to celebrate Mother's day of course but my father's birthday as well in accommodating our needs after the reservations I made were not what Market Street Kitchen was expecting. I made 2 separate reservations through Open Table thinking they would be able to seat the two reservation close to each other. reservations. I also did not realize ne reservation was for outside and one inside- big goof on my part. Initially the reservation was for 10 it then dwindled down to 8 then 6 which made it more manageable. However the manager made it work, Thank you so very much for making the day special. The three servers we had were to say the least outstanding. Chase our primary server was the epitome of customer service. Very personable engaging actively with our party during our entire meal. We had another male server assisting Chase who was fantastic as well and then there was younger gentleman assisting them who actually brought small to go food box for the minuscule little flower my great niece had found and given to her great grandmother so it could transport it home safely. Thank you to all for making it a very special day.

We came for the prime rib dinner. Although we were there at 5:15, they do not honor happy hour in the dining room. Small place to have those restrictions. I had a $12 Sangria. Pricy by any standards. Server was in training and very peppy. We sat at a table for two and there was a parade of servers walking by our table. I didn’t like it. We asked for bread and server thought there was a charge but found it was free if we asked. Bread came out after food was delivered and was subpar. We asked to sub the Brussel sprouts for mashed potatoes. No problem but when the bill came they charged for it. Took it off the bill but it was annoying.

The prime rib was just okay. Nice sized piece but not sure it was 14oz. We definitely could not have shared it. The meat was cooked correctly but had zero flavor and was a little tough. The outer edge was tasty but inside flavorless. The Brussel sprouts were bitter and under cooked. They did give us each a free gelati for our birthdays. It was yummy!

We had ample opportunity to say something about the meal. We were asked no less than four times how our meal was. Frankly when I am out for a quiet dinner, the last thing I want to do is complain about the food. It never turns out well and causes a whole lot of tumult. So...we ate all the meat dunked in the horseradish sauce, sautéed vegetables and most of the sprouts.

I didn’t see anyone else order the prime rib so maybe they knew something we didn’t. Most people were ordering burgers and fries. The place was hopping and the bar was jammed so maybe we hit an off night but we won’t be back for prime rib again.

UPDATE: Happy to say the situation has been rectified to both MSK and our satisfaction. The owner was wonderful and we will continue to be loyal customers to MSK and look forward to returning!

Our server Paul was new, his second day, and he was exceptionally attentive ,particularly when
it came to wine choices for my partner. food was really good , especially the halibut entree and the firecracker shrimp, we did the Happy Hour, highly recommend it.

The food was good, but not really noteworthy. The service was good and they were consistent in swinging by to check on us. The only issue I had was for such a nice dining room, the back hallway and bathrooms were really dirty. The door and walls were covered in dirt and fingerprints. The inside of the bathroom had some peeled paint and dirty walls, not just trash on the floor, which there wasn't. The problems sadly overshadowed the food and service and I'm glad I saw them after I ate otherwise I would have found us another place. The problem was rather surprising for the location and expected clientele.

I met a friend for lunch and we sat outside. Very enjoyable!! The service was just great and so was the food! I highly recommend the wedge salad...add shrimp if you like seafood. It was one of the best salads with the best dressing I had in a long time. It was nice and breezy on the patio and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the wait staff. Definitely worth the drive and I will visit Market Street Kitchen again soon!

On Friday and Saturday nights, MSK has real rotisserie prime rib - not the precooked and rewarmed stuff you find most places. ANd you can get it rare. Service is always prompt, friendly, and careful. This is my neighborhood go to dining place.

Not a good experience. Food was disappointing -ribs over cooked and sauce was like molasses w no flavor. Trout bland w no sauce. Overcharged for btl of wine - manager did fix it. Hope it gets better.

The service was very good. We were seated on the patio which was very comfortable.

I had a margarita and my wife had a mimosa which were well done. My wife was concerned when the waiter poured the remnants of her first Mimosa into her new one. I can not say I have ever seen that practice before.

The food was sort of a disappointment. We were there for Easter and ordered breakfast items. I ordered the Traditional Eggs Benedict. I have never had them served anywhere else on a cool, untoasted English Muffin. This and the Tater Tots for the breakfast potato were not up to the standard that I expected.

The first time we were here we really enjoyed it. I had the prime rib dip and it was delicious. This time, however, we brought our friends after raving about the sandwich and it was terrible. Perhaps it was because it was happy hour and they use a cheaper cut of meat. Plus it was cold. Very disappointed and we won't be back.

Got the large dinner market green salad with a piece of salmon added and it was very disappointing. The salmon was cut up, very tiny and severely over cooked. Plus the amount of greens so small that I asked the waiter if they had given me the small lunch portion by mistake. Clearly less than $7 worth of ingredients but it cost $17. Much better restaurants close by.

The menu offers a nice selection of items, so you can eat light or have a full meal. The service was prompt and friendly. We chose to sit inside. They have an outdoor patio, but of course it's right on the street with people and cars going by continuously. Although it was a pleasant dining experience, there are lots of great restaurants in Scottsdale. We might return when we're in the area.
