About Market Street Grille

The MARKET STREET GRILLE in Harrison, although a little more upscale than others, is still a neighborhood favorite. Only 25 minutes from Downtown Cincinnati, not too many folks know about this place, but they should. Tucked in the heart of downtown Harrison, the Market Street Grille offers a great spot to end a day of antiquing at local shops. We Have an impressive selection of Bourbon’s including Knob Creek, Woodford Reserve and Buffalo Trace just to name a few, and a good selection of draft beers including Guinness. The menu is much more extensive than most neighborhood spots. Yes, it offers burgers, sandwiches and appetizers, but much more, too. It is really quite simple; using real ingredients makes sense to us. We start our cooking with the best quality ingredients in order to make food that is a joy to eat. We’re taking simple ingredients and producing great dishes. In our kitchen we go the extra mile and make each from dish your order from scratch.

The food was very good, the server was attentive and very pleasant. The table was uncomfortable, right behind the entryway - we could feel the draft when door was open. We asked to be moved to a table by the fireplace - which was open - and were told that there had to be 6 people to sit there and we only had 5. No one sat at that table the entire 1-1/2 hours we were there. That was disappointing.

We come here before we go to the Orpheum every time! It has become a tradition. I love the crab jack sandwich and my kids love the pasta. Always a great experience.

Another great dinner at Market Street. Nice atmosphere in historic building. Very comfortable. Good drink prices and good pours. Specials nightly. Experienced and attentive staff. They take reservations and easy through Open Table. One of our favorite places.

Chef Chuck was very accommodating when I explained my food challenges and he did it with patience and a beautiful smile!
Our server, I believe his name was Cory, took excellent care of us and was very knowledgeable about the dishes, drinks and the history of Market Street Grille!
Thank you for a delicious meal and a great dining experience!

My husband and I ate here with another couple on the 13th of this month. We were celebrating my husband's birthday. This was noted on our Open Table reservation but no mention was made of it at the restaurant. I also mentioned it to our server and didn't receive so much as a "happy birthday". The Grille was a very charming historic building with quaint decor. I chose it due to the many menu options. We waited a few minutes when we arrived to be seated. Once seated we waited much, much longer before the server even came to acknowledge us and take a drink order. We still waited longer before we received our drinks. The server commented that she thought there was a party in the back room and she may have to mix our drinks herself. I am not sure what the problem was but service was horrible. Once we place our food orders, the food came out in a very timely manner. The server brought our salad course, dropped the food and ran before we could even ask for another round of drinks. Everyone enjoyed their food. I specifically wanted the liver and onions and was not sorry. It was prepared perfectly and delicious. My husband also enjoyed his eggplant parmesan. The Market Street Grille is not close to our home and we drove a bit to eat here on this special occasion . I probably won't be back to eat here again based on the service and neglect of the birthday mention.

We were there on a Saturday evening. We started out at the bar because we arrived early for our reservation. The bartender was awesome! Sam our waitress was great! We ordered the crab cakes and our friends had the steaks. No complaints. The desserts were wonderful! The peanut butter pie, brownie sundae and the lava cake were delicious.

Our out of town guests liked the friendly atmosphere and menu. Due to the low noise level, we were able to have a good conversation. They chose the salmon entree which they both enjoyed.

Pleasant experience; Saturday evening of a holiday weekend so not terribly crowded. Server was very friendly and helpful in making our entree selections. Cocktails were excellent and dinner was delicious with generous portions. While it was a bit of a drive to get there I would definitely come back.

There were two other parties in the restaurant and we were seated right next to one of them. Had dinner with two strangers. The food was bland and lacked flavor. Their idea of Steak Diane leaves much to be desired and is certainly not worth the price.

Thoroughly enjoyed a delicious dinner on a rainy Friday evening. Service was excellent. We had fish and chips and grouper with mango salsa. We also opted for the warm apple tart which was undoubtedly worth the 20 minute wait for prep time. Our server was very attentive. We will return soon.

Excellent food and service as always! Meal comes with delicious bread and choice of soup or salad. French onion soup and caeser salad were our choices this time. Both of us enjoyed trying something new this visit. Maple sweet potato cheesecake dessert is amazing! Nice way to relax and celebrate an anniversary.

Always a favorite on our go to restaurant list! It's great! The Chicken Carbonara is my favorite the portion size is large so there's plenty for a next day lunch! My wife is a vegetarian and the chef creates great dishes on the fly!

Mother's Day Brunch is truly wonderful.

This was not our first time at Market Street Grille. It has become a tradition for Father's Day. They have an outstanding buffet or you can order from the menu. The atmosphere is unique and relaxing. The food and service were excellent. We were served in a timely fashion, the food is made to order allowing you to make special requests! We like ti very much.

My family went to Market Street Grill on a Sunday. Upon walking in the door, 2 small children were running through the restaurant. We found that they were with the hostess/server, who finally did make them leave the room. We were sat in a booth that had an air vent directly under our feet, and it was freezing. When asked if we could move to any one of the empty booths behind us, we were told that they reserved that specific booth for us and we couldn't move. (The booths never did fill up in the hour we were there.) However, when another couple came in and didn't want to be put in the table in the middle of the room, they were promptly moved to a booth. Our server was very nice and attentive. Used dishes were promptly removed from the table. I'm not sure if they always do it, but our bill, for 4 guests, included a 20% tip. The food was good, especially the meatloaf.

I'm not sure what was so different about the Father's Day brunch, it had everything a normal Sunday brunch had for 10$ more. I didn not see the beef carving station or the omlet station so I really don't know what I paid the extra money for. I recommend a normal Sunday brunch for the 13$ we go often! I don't believe we'll go back for "special dates" in the future
