We had been there on Sunday and had an excellent meal with outstanding service. We went back on Friday and had the worse meal and service ever. They were pushing people out as fast as possible because of the basketball playoffs. It seemed like the servers were only interested in big parties and ignored parties of 2. I managed to track down the Manager about my cold lumpy rice (actually in balls)and the best he could do was say the kitchen mixed up the pots and it should have been tossed. He offered me a free dessert. My very expensive meal was ruined and the best he could do was offer a cheap dessert. Our waitress disappeared after taking our order and we didn't see her again until she came to ask what we wanted for the free dessert. We were so disgusted that we didn't bother with dessert as the meal and our experience was terrible. We go to this restaurant every time we visit SLC but will not go again after this experience.

Excellent, expertly prepared seafood unusual so far from either coast. Great wine list.

Food was delicious and the service was over and beyond what I would expect. It is a higher priced restaurant which is perfect for a special occasion.

The food was really good, but we were not happy that we ordered the calamari, as did the table right next to ours. Their calamari looked much better than ours and it looked like they had a lot more. We were disappointed with that. Our server was also an it slow. She looked right at our table and saw that we were finished, then walked away. We had to flag her down for boxes and the check. But the soup and main course was very good, as was the creme brûlée.

While the Ahi was excellent, the Clam Chowder lacked an essential - the clams. The Crab Louie had an an abundance of shells, and the leafly elements of the salad were wilted and lacked freshness. Nine out out ten times our dining experiences were delightful. This time it was far from pleasant.

Picky daughter enjoyed the shrimp cocktail. I also enjoyed the oysters (had all 4 types)...not dirty or tasting of bay at all. Cioppino and seafood pasta were also tasty. Sabayon with extra Sabayon and extra berries will change your life.
