Food good as always
Made us wait when tables were available
Never refilled water or bread
Waitress rarely seen
Had to ask and wait for ketchup for burgers
Chips stale on both plates
This was our first time to Market Bistro and my friends and I were all very happy with the food, two of us are vegetarians, and the ambiance. Service was good on a busy Friday night. I highly recommend this as a stop before a show at NYCB Theatre at Westbury. Just don't lose track of time and almost be late for the show like we did because we were enjoying ourselves so much!
Also maybe, if you're lucky, the Milleredge peacock will stop by to visit.
Always enjoy coming to this restaurant. Havent been here in a while but was not dissappointed.
Ordered Rock Shrimp Tacos - delicious - with Cheese Ravioli to start- yummy -- Ordered the duck with Duck Fried Rice. - simply amazing. To top it off order the Brownie Sunday with graham cracker ice cream.. soooo goood.
Our waiter could have been a bit more attentive.( Daniel) The food made up for it... Absolutely delicious
Very noisy. Would not go back for dinner.
This restaurant never disappoints! No matter what you decide to order you will find it delicious. The steaks and duck are unmatched anywhere. Everything is cooked to perfection and beautifully served. Just leave room for dessert!
Restaurant week was in full swing - nevertheless excellent service ( even with a long wait with reservations) excellent meal and always a pleasant, friendly neighborhood place .
We had the the salmon special with beet salad and kale Caesar salads to started . We ended with coffee and chocolate molton cake and apple crisp. Drinks are a must - many local spirits as well as the known brands .
Food and service were excellent. Adam the manager was very attentive. Pretty busy on a Saturday night but very efficient. Small tables makes ordering many apps a little challenging. Looking forward to dining there again
Just make sure that you order from the regular menu. Was disappointed to the weekly menu.
The food was good but our service was terrible. Our waiter barely showed his face and had no idea what was going on.
One of my favorite places - always fresh food with great taste.
Absolutely fabulous! Our server Christine was exceptional! Very knowledgeable and extremely delightful! Will definitely return.
I regularly come here for LI Restaurant Week because the food and service are usually outstanding. The meal started out well with Coconut-Lemongrass Mussels which were seasoned to perfection. Before I was able to finish my appetizer, a waitress brought my main course which was rare seared tuna and noodles. As I was not finished, I instructed her to take it back. You are not supposed to bring the second course until the first course has been finished. Maybe they were in a hurry to get me out of the building. Now this dish consisted of a cold noodle salad and my seared tuna. As they couldn't heat up the salad, I'm sure they just let it sit out so when I got it the rare tuna that was barely warm. I noticed no one else seemed to have had this problem. The waiter/waitress waited for them to finish their first course before serving their second. Strike one! For dessert I ordered the warm apple crisp. It was one degree from being cold. I noticed that my apple crisp was served in the dish that is used to hold the sugar packets, a square tall dish. However, everyone else that had the same dish had it served in short white ramekins which were about 1/3 the height of my dish ergo more conducive to a fully warmed dessert. Strike two! I guess maybe I got different service than everyone else because I looked different than everyone else. I have reservations for Mother's Day but now I have reservations about my reservation.
Very noisy tightly spaced overpriced storefront bistro thinking it’s a downtown in joint.
Not much value for the money. Institutionalized chaos - nothing new here as it is a coookie cutter of what makes Long Island dining unappetizing.
Fresh, delicious food. Flounder and Mahi-mahi were nice sized portions and the mussels appetizer was in a lovely thyme infused flavorful broth. Desserts were homemade and decadently delicious.
Very impressed with the menu options. Offerings were creative , and food was delicious!! Portions were ample , and satisfying. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Dessert offerings were pleasing and very tasty. We highly recommend.
All around excellent experience, will be back no doubt
EVERYTHING, food, service, etc. excellent as always. Menu is a treasure, wait staff very professional.
Always a favorite. Excellent food. Good bar. Great for a get together. Don't feel rushed. Nice wait staff.
Only negative was that they didn’t have skin milk for coffee
Absolutely great meal and great service.
I highly recommend!
I went for a long overdue date with my amazing wife. I asked a local parenting Facebook group for suggestions and many people recommended this place. Both my wife and I were thoroughly impressed with this place! It's a bit expensive for us and I didn't know how much it would cost, but we had a good time nonetheless.
Out with friends. Very expensive with drinks.
Outstanding food great service Enjoyed the whole experience
Always delicious!!!!!! Great drinks & food!
My friends and I enjoyed our dining experience at Market Bistro. our starters and main courses were delicious . The food here is always great. The servers are attentive. In our group-2 of us are regulars, another has returned several times after we introduced her to this lovely place, and the fourth member came for the first time. We have all recommended Market Bistro to others-our newcomer can't wait to return.
Was nice night dining out. Service was fast and freindly.
Easter with family
What a great accommodating friendly service oriented place with terrific food!!!!
Great neighborhood gem! Fresh seasonal food selections and farm-to-table ingredients used.
Market Bistro is Always a Hit!
The food is delicious and fresh.
You Are What You Eat!
The restaurant was fine for what it was. Food was fine, service was slow and noise level was high. However, I am really in the minority because the place was packed, and I am glad I had a reservation. Just seemed really expensive for the type of restaurant - $10 for onion soup? small plates averaged $12 - $15 and entrees were $25 to $30. For those prices I would prefer better service and higher quality food than "bistro."
Won’t be back. Poor food and everything else.
Market Bistro is consistently excellent. I took a friend to celebrate her birthday and she was very impressed and was happy to find this local gem. The organic chicken is just delicious.
Food was amazing. Service was horrendous. Told them we were sharing. Never brought extra plates. When I asked for pepper, waiter left the house pepper shaker on the table. What?????
Offered a wonderful pre-fix and a great menu.
Entered upon opening and server confusion. No water, no drink order. When water arrived there were two for three diners.
Bus person served hot bread and dropped it on the table. Told us we could eat it because the placemat was clean!
Glad the meal was great, cause early service was scary
Cassandra was a terrific server, the food was yummy! Their early prefixe dinner menu includes excellent selections. I had the duck...it was really good!
Fantastic and accommodating for our group. Always a great meal!
