Market Bistro is an inviting neighborhood restaurant, located in Jericho, New York. Our objective is to offer quality, market-driven, seasonal contemporary American food. Our chefs will strive to use the freshest ingredients, emphasizing seasonal and local, whenever possible. The focal point of the restaurant is our exciting looking bar which will feature a wine list of local and international wines and a great roster of draft and bottled beers from regional small batch brewers. We will offer the same soul-satisfying type food, relaxed atmosphere , hospitality and value that we bring to you at our sister restaurant, West End Cafe.
The staff was amazing!
Wow ! Where were the servers ? We had to raise our hands to be recognized ! Service very inattentive ; food a bit mediocre ; cauliflower soup NO TASTE 😱❗️disappointing except the wine
Ate at the bar, the service was friendly and the food was great. The scallop risotto was fantastic as was the venison. Look forward to dining here again.
Always a great experience. It’s our go to place!!
Great foodie spot, and an even better drink/wine list!
Every item we had was delicious (in our group of six). The food is more interesting than the menu lets on...I was initially thinking it wasn’t very extensive, but with food this good I’m willing to try more.
Also the salads looked amazing, so when I come back I’m hoping it’s lunch time!
We come here at least once a month either just to have dinner or share desert and a bottle of wine. We have never had a bad experience or bad meal. The food is always delicious and the staff is so helpful. It really is just a great place to go for dinner, special occasion or drinks.
A suburban restaurant with pretentions must at the very least provide competent, attentive service. Sadly, that was not the case on this visit to Market Bistro. The meal began with the splashing of wine on my menu, a harbinger of things to come. Then came the wrong dish for one of us which led to the members of our party receiving their food at different times. In all, very good cooking was made to seem mediocre.
We had a Saturday night dinner at Market Bistro and were impressed. The food was fresh, flavorful, and of good portion. We liked the detail in the menu describing the local farms from where the food came. Our server, yoanne, was quite personable and deserves special recognition. The energy level here is pretty high, it fills up fast and the bar/tv’s also add to it, so it might be a little difficult to hold a conversation. But it is a fun place, with a cool decor and memorable food, which makes us want to return again.
A wonderful restaurant we go to often the owner Adam is great and our favorite waitress Morgan is truly the best. The menu needs to change. Other than 3 specials the menu is the same
From the owner to the servers to the food, every time we dine here it’s amazing. The organic chicken is the best dish on Long Island
Excellent food and service. Our server Anthony was superb. I'll be back in a hurry.
Our experience at Market Bistro was excellent. All of the food and drinks we had were fresh, tasty and delivered with excellent service. The menu is diverse enough to please most and everything was of superior quality. I would definitely return and bring back my friends!
I found this place on a whim as we were coming from the movies and I wanted to eat a local place as to not drive to far. It was a bit hidden and hard for the gps to direct us to (it was in a plaza and the gps did not see to understand that), but once we did find it, it was perfect. It was a quant little place and the food and service were great. The fried Brussel sprouts were delicious. I recommend this place.
This was our 4th time there in last four months. It was disappointing. They changed the Salmon dish. Not sure why. I suppose I should have read the fine print. Anyway, it was terrible. The dish for the summer was fabulous. The service was ridiculously slow. And they scrunch all the tables together. No space. With that said the ambiance is still cute and authentic. Need to warn people that menu changes from last time.
Always a fun place for lunch and dinner
Food is just soooo good!
Appeztiers and dinner was excellent. Thanks for having us tonite!
Wonderful dinner as always!
Had lunch with a friend. Food and service were excellent.
Went here for a special lunch and was not disappointed. Terrific meal from soup to dessert. Would not hesitate to return. Slightly noisy but better at lunch than at dinner.
Outstanding we only had a reservation for 2. It was made by someone not tech proficient. That would be me. We were quickly accommodated with the 6 in our party. The wine glasses were very generous. Food portions were good but no one had leftovers. Delicious everything.
I would have given and outstanding review except fir the fact we sat at table for a long time and had to request someone take our drink order. Good was very tasty though.
Fresh food and the prix fixe dinner is of great value.
Love this place. The only thing I do not care for is the noise level
This is a great neighborhood place which serves local seafood and other farm to table food. Good restaurant to go with friends or small groups. Also great to sit at the bar and eat there.
Great meal at Market Bistro! Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about our food and wine. Great vibe and delicious food.
Food and service were excellent
Lots of healthy (and delicious) choices!!
We were celebrating a birthday and the waitress was attentive but not overbearing. Love the food!!
We love Market Bistro! It’s our goto place!
Discovered this gem through LI Restaurant Week. The offerings were plenty off the main menu. Creamy cauliflower soup, shrimp risotto with mushrooms and butternut squash, apple crisp ala mode. We shared a pumpkin beer that was delicious. Wait staff was attentive without being intrusive and very professional. Noise level were from people genuinely having a great time together. Owner greeted folk and seemed calm which is a good sign of a well run establishment. Delicious food overall. Plan on a repeat visit but it is a bit pricey.
Tried it first time for restaurant week since we love their sister restaurant, West End Cafe.
Loved the atmosphere as well as all 3 courses. Apps were meatballs and lumpcrab/apple dip. Entrees were chicken potpie and porkchop. Desserts were apple crumble with vanilla ice cream and choc/banana bread pudding with peanut butter icecream ...yum!!
Only issue is we didn't have the friendliest of waitresses. She got the job done but with little effort as if it was closing time and she were exhausted
Went to Market Bistro for Restaurant Week. Had a wonderful meal - started with the Meatballs, followed by their soft and tender short ribs with mashed potatoes, and root veggies. Dessert was the Apple crunch with ice cream. Nice atmosphere, good service. We will be back!
Very enjoyable meal Food and service were outstanding.
One of the best spots in the neighborhood! Service is impeccable and food is always, always good! Always a pleasure to dine at Market Bistro!
Love this restaurant so much - food is excellent - for some reason service was a little slow the other night but otherwise excellent
food and service is always very good. Wish they had a wider selection of lunch offerings
Service can be irregular
Admittedly, we arrived early (5:30 PM) pm a Friday. Plenty of seats seemed available (but we had a reservation). Quick and friendly service. Food and service was very good. The bar was packed. The atmosphere is friendly. By the time we left, every table was filled. We look forward to returning for another relaxing and enjoyable dinner/
Had a lovely lunch with a close friend and we both enjoyed our lunch! The food was so tasty & very fresh.
My family’s current favorite restaurant on Long Island. We’ve been coming here for the past couple of years and it’s always great food. I love the atmosphere and the service is top notch. Menu includes both small plates as well as entrees and nightly specials. We usually go for the small plates so we can try more things. Highly recommend the tuna tartare, grilled octopus salad, meatballs and the sliders from the small plates. Some of my favorite mains include the shrimp & octopus tagliatelle, the mb burger and the best wild salmon I’ve ever had! If you have room after dinner the mb stuffed brownie is awesome as is the bread pudding. And don’t forget to order some cocktails, all are good but I love their cosmopolitan! They have a great wine list and 8 solid beers on tap. Reservations recommended.
