The apple cobbler was watery with uncooked oats. My husband's grouper meal was very underwhelming, with just one small piece of fish, two carrots, and a small bit of broccolini. Jerk chicken was good, but overcooked plain white rice and a hard plantain chunk as a side left much to be desired. Definitely not worth the price. For over $100 for two, I'd go somewhere else.
Slow service not all on new server either
Dinner took 3 hours, food over priced for quantity nothing to write home about.
We had terrible service, took over an hour to receive our food and it was just barely warm. They did comp us for the food, but will never return here. Serving size was a joke for what they would of charged us for it. Worst experience we ever had in a fine restaurant.
We were told that we had to wait 45 minutes for a table despite our reservations. The hostess said they had too many orders to fill and they couldn’t keep up. She was very apologetic but clearly a poorly managed situation. The restaurant is at a resort, where we were staying. We won’t return.
Wife's grouper was undercooked. She loved the band, people watching, and sunset. My back was to all three and I could not hear due to band. However, my prime rib special was perfection on a plate. If we had sat inside I think the ratings would've been much higher.
We had terrible service at The Nauti Mermaid on March 2nd. We went there for cocktails before dinner. We essentially had no service. We had to get our own drinks. No one ever asked how we were doing. We we're there for an hour. There were 2 staff serving other tables. One of them seemed to be spending a lot of time with 1 table
The food was excellent altho the waiter Chris was a bit snarky and, although attentive at the beginning of the meal, was a "no show" at the end of our meal. However his attitude was more then made up by the chef coming to our table twice to advise us when we could expect our meal due to customization of a meal due to food allergies of one of our friends. The atmosphere, as always, was fun and exciting and the views wonderful.
The waitstaff was not as you would expect for this type of restaurant. Apparently understaffed and everyone was rushing around. While we were eating our first course, they delivered our main meal. Then we waited forever for items we requested; i.e. lemon, ice and additional sauce for the fish dish.
Absolutely the poorest service on the planet. The hostess asked if I wanted to sit inside or outside and I requested an inside table. Her response was “ thank god, that makes my job easier”. While we were waiting for our entrees, I asked the waitress to take a photo my table and she stated “that will need to wait”, I am busy. The manager served our second round of drinks and the security guard brought the bread and oil to the table . Bottom line, I would not recommend to anyone
The food and service was amazing in the view was spectacular. Definitely coming back again
We had the best server ever! Nicole was friendly, funny, pleasant and on top of things and readily available! She may have been the best server I have had in a very lonfg time! She made my boyfriend and I laugh and feel comfortable for his birthday :)

Made reservations online, arrived early, had a drink at the waterside tiki hut. As our reservation time was approaching we all went to the check-in desk and there was a long line. Not to be impolite, I asked the young man if we have a reservation is this the right line. You could tell he was "IN the Weeds" or very inexperienced by his gruff response. We were concerned due to the long line we might loose our reservations due to late arrival.
After about 20 to 25 minutes I saw a mature lady seating customers and asked if there was a problem as the dinning room was empty. I told her we had reservations 30 minutes ago and she said I can seat you immediately.
Having a experience in food and beverage and many years in customer service our night was a complete disaster just trying to get to a table. Once we arrived at our table a VERY experienced server turned things around for our guest. Very pleasant and friendly, sorry I can't provide a name. I really feel sorry for her having to calm customer down after they have ran the "Gantlet". Must really effect her tips.
I don't understand how a wonderful get a way for me and my Wife could turn into a "Fast Food" operation.

They did not honor the reservation. We arrived exactly on time. Waited nearly 10 minutes for someone to appear. They actually told us to our face that they gave walk-ins all the tables. Told us we would have to wait 20+ minutes until a table opened up. Maybe! The restaurant was not very busy at the time but they claimed they were understaffed for waiters. We left...totally unsatisfied and unserved. Actually, they should be ashamed to take reservations thru OpenTable. Very disappointed!
We loved sitting outside, live music, and beautiful boats to look at. Cocktails very good. Food just average.
We waited 20 minutes , then had to ask someone if they were going to wait on us ... the manager did come to our table to apologize and offered an appetizer or bottle of wine for our inconvenience. We opted for the bottle of wine which we thought was a generous gesture , however, it was added to our bill !!! $62.00 !!!
Somewhat disappointing considering the prices and that it’s located at a Westin hotel , our reservation was. For 7:00, we received our entrees by 8:30 pm
I came in expecting a lot. We had reservations for 8 pm and were seated at 8:45 pm after we were told we were waiting for an outside table they seated us inside. After 10 minutes sitting down they brought water and our waiter came. The hostess , the manager , the waiter were all not great at all. We spent 300$ for 4 people and for half that i could have gone to many other places and received better service. The food was not bad , but it wasnt great and the service just made it that much worse.
I made reservations for my fiance and I at 8 pm and had to wait for over one hour before they seated us. I requested on my reservation to be seated outside, and they told me that it wouldn't take long before we get seated after an hour of us waiting I said the host that I wanted to get seated anywhere at this point we just couldn't wait anymore. I didn't understand why we waited so long if we made reservations an hour ago and they told me there was nothing they could do. Poor customer service. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Service was slow. Food was cold. No view of the water. About three shrimp etc.
We went there for Valentine’s Day and was obvious they were understaffed. Our waitress was inattentive at best. We had to ask her for another drink. She brought my daughter a rare steak when she ordered it medium and my husband got his entre on a salad instead of with a Caesar salad. The stead cost $50. And 4 scallops were $32. And not very good, too spicy. Will not be returning
We scheduled a reservation for 7 pm via Open Table. We arrived at 6:55 pm but we’re not seated until 7:40 pm. Once we were seated it took after 15 minutes before anyone, the hostess, approached us for drink orders. We didn’t see our waiter until after a good 20 minutes had passsed. He immediately informed us that the kitchen was slammed and dinner would be a long wait. I looked around, the inside restaurant was practically empty and outside seating was full, but manageable. We ordered salads and entrees. After a while our waiter showed up with free refills on our wine, a nice touch and appreciated. Warm bread with seasoned olive oil appeared. Then our entrees, no salads. We enjoyed the food. My husband had the shrimp Alfredo and I had Ciopino. Both cooked perfectly. Other diners around us were starting to complain loudly about the slow service. We got our check, which was correct, paid and left. Bottom line: good food, slow service.
Service was very slow...think they were having a problem in the kitchen. The grouper special was mediocre. Overall a considerable disappointment.
Good food and ambiance, but terribly, terribly slow service. We waited 15 minutes to be seated even though no one was ahead of us and tables were available, and then it took almost an hour to get our meal, another 20 minutes to get our dessert, and another half-hour to get the check (which only came because I went to the front desk to request it). We liked the setting and all of our food was delicious, but the extremely slow service and lack of attentiveness of our server would not make us want to return.
Nice waterfront venue. A little ride to get to but worth it.
Food was good but took 3 hrs and there were empty seats so not too busy......reasonably priced. Stunning setting.
Valentines dinner. Considering they offered a special V day dinner, it took over 30 min to receive the salad. When we called to let them know we would be late for our reservation due to traffic, and were told they didn’t have any open tables for the time we expected to arrive, they had many empty tables and took another 20 minutes to seat us. While the food was good, i wouldn’t make the effort to return. Sorry.

Dodd was delicious and the view is spectacular!! Have eaten here several times and have not been disappointed. The hummus appetizer is fabulous!!!
my husbands birthday - was a disaster we ordered drink and appetizers but our main course did not arrive over an hour later Manager was apologetic and took care of the bill but our celebration was ruined

Nice outdoor bar with view of the marina and sunset. Dinner afterwards inside. Helpful staff, good food and reasonably priced. Would recommend for those wanting to have a quieter waterfront experience.
Waitress named Linda was great. Food was superb. Especially the old fashioned tomato soup. Would definitely go back. The view of the water and the boats was lovely.
Poor, slow service! Restaurant was max 25% capacity and we waiting 45 minutes for food. To top it off, the food was cold. We have had dinner there, which was also poor, but we thought breakfast would be different. This place is ONLY good for ambience, apps and drinks.
Good half-price happy hour and outstanding setting. Ordered appetizer and two dishes. Took almost 45 minutes and then all came out together. Staff and manager apologized and made it right. Food was very good and we will give it another try.
This was our first visit....nice choice between indoor upscale dining and open air marina (same menu). Service was impeccable (only one error on salad)...band was a little loud for much conversation, but nice group. Eclectic choices on menu, surprised how good the ribs were!
