Excellent food and a beautiful view
Marker 32 is one of our favorites. I ordered two apps and a dessert rather than an entrée, and everything was fantastic (the deviled egg with oysters are a must). My wife and our friends enjoyed their meals as well. Marker 32 is consistently excellent every time we dine here!
They were so nice to help us get a window table when it opened up. We appreciated that.
Excellent food, service and drinks. We will be back
I have been to marker 32 on a great number of occasions. This time was not as good as I have had in the past. The food was good but not as good as before. We were seated in an area in the back by the windows but there was a large party of very very loud people. It made it very difficult to have our own conversation and ruined the evening we had planned. We complained to the waiter, and he told us that he told the manager. We never saw the manager or talk to him or got any feedback from the him. Very disappointing for an expensive meal.
Bar service was extremely slow. Foot was great.
Our food and service was delightful the view was beautiful look forward to going again. Perfect
Pleasant evening but nothing special. Had raw oysters but were gritty. My husband had the broiled and said they were good. Had the special beef which was way too much. The rice and asparagus were very good. The waitress started out well but then just disappeared and did not ask about coffee or desert. Still not bad for the price
Very pleased with the "whole" experience. The staff was excellent and accommodated all our requests. The window view was outstanding. A great setting to celebrate our anniversary.
Meeting old friends for dinner. We have been to Marker 32 several times and we have always had amazing service and food. This time the food was average and service was less than average. May be our last visit.
Food absolutely delicious
Waiter was very attentive.....excellent!
I come to Marker 32 often. The food and service are always outstanding. On this occasion, I brought an important work colleague and his wife. I wanted everything to be perfect, and it was. A special thanks to our server, Megan. She created the ideal dining experience. A truly first rate server.
We went for the first seating on a Friday evening and ordered a bottle of pinot grigio that was on the wine list. Our server came back and said they were out of it but offered another pinot grigio that was more expensive or choose another type of wine! Don't think it was handled correctly. Food was excellent...consistently good!
Marker 32 is a remarkably good restaurant. And surprisingly, given how good it is, it is remarkably unpretentious. The room is open and airy, with big picture windows all along two walls and looking out onto an inlet and the marinas that inhabit it. Staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food we had was excellent. We had three appetizers as well as salads. The romaine in my caesar was very fresh and entirely heart lettuce. The caesar dressing was tangy with lemon, peppery, and tasting fully of garlic and anchovies just as a good caesar should. My wife had their highly-unusual and very delicious wilted spinach salad - very wilted, almost cooked spinach leaves dressed in a honey/tarragon vinaigrette and topped with melted swiss cheese; not for the dieter, but really quite tasty. We had calamari - a special that night, which they deliver perfectly cooked: meltingly tender squid in a light, lightly-spiced, crispy batter. Their diver scallops and pork belly appetizer is both beautifully presented and delicious (three big scallops that have been pan-seared on one side to a crispy crust, with the other unseared and side barely translucent, plated on little squares of sauteed pork belly, with garnishes). We also tried a small serving of their sweet pea risotto which, while very good, frankly wasn't up to the standard of the other two items. Their wine list is limited - ten whites and ten reds, available by bottle or glass. That said, their selection is thoughtful. We had the very pleasant Willamette Vineyards Whole Cluster Pinot Noir. Notably, unlike so many restaurants today which bring their wines straight to the table from a chilly cellar, our bottle arrived tableside at just the right temperature for immediate enjoyment. This place deserves its reputation!
We always enjoy the dining experience at Marker 32! Stanley, our waiter/server, was very courteous, prompt and professional. A grand evening for all!
Glasses were not filled ,plates left on the table ,seating too close together. That being said the food was very good, although they brought my husband the wrong entree. It may have been an off night . But for the price, we should have gotten better service.
Great service & great food
Enjoyed our meal here. Had to wait about 10 mins past our reservation time, but it was a busy Saturday night.... Waitress was very knowledgeable. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Fish was a little under seasoned for my husbands taste. Deviled eggs with fried oysters were amazing. Desserts were excellent.
'We brought guests to Marker 32 to celebrate an anniversary. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was lovely and the food was fantastic. This is the second time that we have dined at Marker 32 and we will definitely go back.
Excellent service and amazing food. More casual than expected but still very classy and comfortable
Great window table
Food was superb
Ben and Liza are culinary rock stars!!
Delicious food, excellent service, and beautiful view. We will return again!
Food was delicious, Service was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. The noise level could get a little loud but you were still able to have conversations and be able to hear the people around you. Would definitely come back and will for sure recommend to others.
Good night out with friends. Everyone loved their meal and when you are taking friends to a restaurant for the first time, its great when everyone enjoys it.
Very good service! Chef agreeable to changes and requests.
Only negative is the seating in the booth for us was not good....seats too low....very uncomfortable...that would be my only suggestion.
Great find and will ask for a table with chair seating next time.
Always great food and service!
The food was exceptional, the service was great, at first it was a little noisy but it got better. Overall a great place to eat
Great as always
This was our third family meal at Marker 32 with our teen-aged daughters. We had to wait 15 minutes beyond our reservation time but we ended up at the best table in the house, which more than made up for the wait. All of our food was excellent. I'd recommend their mahi-mahi highly.
Very busy night at Marker 32 but the service for this Business meal was very good as well as the food. Only negative was that I had asked for a window table but it wasn't available. This is a great place to take out of towners - to experience the excellent local catch entrees and get a glimpse of the intracoastal marina view. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
Great food amazing service.
Very well thought out menu.
Seafood is some of the best I’ve had in Jax
The only big negative was the noise level ad it was impossible to have a conversation.
The “marker 32” oysters were excellent. A little like Rockefeller but less butter. My wife had crab cakes, claimed they were best ever. My fried oysters were also tasty, fried w very fresh oil.
Excellent as ever. Hard not to get the scallops, but others in the group had specials and that fabulous pork chop. Four course meals are a must with Marker 32's menu. Thanks for great service and a great night!
Great food options! Everything was delicious! Just a little close seating and loud!
A wonderful experience! Great view, great food, great waiter! The filet and shrimp fettuccine was some of the best we have ever had. We will go back soon!
Nice place. Very accommodating! Our 2nd visit and the food just as great the second time around.
Great waitress - nicely prepared chef creativity - good wines by the glass. Went at night so we didn't fully catch the water view but that would have been icing on the cake! (Note to chef - on the tuna poke please consider a different "cracker" other than the fried won-ton type. Something a little more current / classier... Thanks!
Oliver was very attentive. The oysters were amazing. They have a great kids menu.
I brought my wife there for her birthday. Drinks, appetizers, main courses, and deserts were amazing. We brought home half our main courses for lunch the next day. They were just as good the next day! The chef, his team and the servers did an incredible job!
