Generally, a good place for good food.
Very LOUD and difficult to have a quality conversation.
We had never been to Marker 32 before. It was a great find thanks to Trip Advisor. The food and the service were both outstanding. I would certainly go again if I return Jacksonville.
The food was excellent. Had a great craft cocktail and the sunset was beautiful. The waitress was very friendly
This is an all-around fantastic restaurant. The food is beyond excellent, the chef is very creative and knowledgeable. The service is always impeccable. Reservations are highly encouraged, as they are usually very busy in the evenings.
Marker 32 is a lovely place overlooking the water. The food is excellent. The service is very good. The only downside is the noise level which is quite loud.
Great meal and drinks with friends from. NC. We loved it.
I asked for a great table with a great view and that's what we got. We were 15 minutes late for our reservation (I called to let them know) and there was no problem. Hunter, our server was amazing. He was so friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. You are lucky to have him working for you. Our food was wonderful and my family from out of town raved about it all. Thanks for making a special night, even more special.
1st time ever we had some items not to par. Octopus was very tough, some grouper dishes perfect others dry, bread pudding cold. Deviled fried oysters were great, pork chop great, scallops and grits great! Truffle fries too salty. Very inconsistent with past experiences. Wait staff outstanding and we will come back again in hopes this was a rare occurrence in the kitchen.
Really don't hae an opiuion about the restaurant.. Only went there twice in 20 years but we are local. My steak had a lot of fat and another guest in our party did not like the oysters. everybody else was fine
Marker 32 has long been a favorite of mine, so when out of town guests were visiting I took our party of 6 there. All of our meals were wonderful except for the two that ordered the Fried Mayport shrimp and fries which I had always found to be delicious. This time not, but I didn't discover this until the end of our meal and I sampled one of the shrimp. The dish must have been prepared in advance and held on the side - it was terrible. Had I known this earlier, I would have insisted it be redone. Otherwise, all our other dishes were great and we particularly enjoyed eating in the side room where it was quieter and we could talk!
Really disappointed with the food. I've been here before and it was great. There are too many other places with good food to bother coming back.
Marker 32 doesn't disappoint. We had a vegetarian and she made a few requests that were happily performed. Table of 4 with everyone happy!
We enjoyed everything about our dinner there.
The entrees (5) were good, as usual. Dessert was disappointing. The creme brulee was good, not great. The angel food cake w/strawberries was not good. The presentation was nice but the cake was dry.
Food was outstanding and Hunter our server was great!
Went for Mother’s Day and had a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and professional and we have never been disappointed with our meal.
We had a wonderful Mother's Day lunch. Food was delicious and our service was super! I've not had a bad meal at Marker 32. Always a winner.
Great place especially if you like seafood. The view of the harbor is a plus. Might get the warm spinach salad. Mahi Mahi was great too.
Awesome every year we come to the Players Golf tourney!!
We have one evening meal there each year we attend!
We live in Venice, FL and enjoy our time there!
My husband and I visited this restaurant in 2001 when we were boat cruising from Virginia to Florida. We stopped at the marina for a couple days and to our surprise discovered Marker 32 restaurant right there. It was NOT the traditional fried fish marina food to say the very least. What a pleasant surprise to find out so many years later the food, service and ambiance were still at the top of their game. Thank you, thank you! FYI - we are now living permanently in Florida and will be returning often.
Been many times and always have been great!! Great food and scenery and the wait staff is awesome. Went for my birthday with daughter and son in law and both my son in law and myself have Celiac disease.(cannot eat gluten) This is the first time that we BOTH got "glutened"(ordered the same item) and were/are very very sick. I was reassured with all that we ate. I also know they were very very busy as it was Mother's Day weekend BUT...this is serious for the people involved. Will I go back, absolutley. BUT, if you do have a food issue, you may want to go when it's not very crowded. Like I said, I've been many times with no problems and they are always great. Not sure what happened this time but will be down and out for the count for about 10 days. :(
The shrimp was good, but the fries were not. $24 is a lot of money for shrimp and fries
Great vistas combined with the food and service that match!
Great meal! Nice atmosphere. Very enjoyable. We particularly liked the diversity of the menu and the view overlooking the marina.
Great restaurant, especially for southern coastal cuisine with current trends.
We are repeat customers from out of town that come during the TPC Golf tournament. Our reservations were made months in advance. Very slow to seat us. Food & waitress were superb. Nice atmosphere!
This was the last time that I will be dining at Marker32. Two times in a row now we have had problems with undercooked seafood. This time it was the salmon. The meal was comped, but I would have rather been able to enjoy my meal instead with my friend. I felt badly for our waiter. There are just way too many options in Jacksonville to be disappointed more than once with your meal!
It was our anniversary. We made our reservations via Open Table the day before. Requested a table by the water for 7. I called the next day to confirm the reservation.
The unfortunate thing about the evening is that upon arrival (aprox 10 minutes prior to our reservation ) . The hostess confirmed our reservation but said there was no waterside table available at that time and offered us a table in the center of the traffic area.
We chose to wait for a table by the water...over twenty minutes. What was the point in reserving.
Food is good and atmosphere nice but there are a lot of other quality choices at the beach such as One Ocean that would have honored our reservation. Poor customer service ...
Early Fathers Day
Outstanding. Great lamb chops and grouper
We were seated in the 2nd room, the tables near the windows seats up to 8 I believe. They were very loud, when one party left, another loud party came in. I don't know if it was because of the size of the party, but it was difficult for us to even hear because of this. It was my birthday, and I had stated that on the open table reservation, nothing was done for my birthday. We had gone the month before for our anniversary and was brought champagne toast & anniversary dessert. I don't know why this was not done for birthday--but the food is delicious & we will return
Great restaurant as always. Never a disappointment
Harbor side restaurant. Nice view but as a junkie about work processes I found watching the harbor crew to be distracting although appealing. My companion less so. That said, the food was excellent. I opted for fried shrimp from Mayport dock for reasons dating to my childhood. Perfectly done. My companion had salmon over risotto. Beyond perfection. Large portions so we skipped selecting from a very appealing dessert menu.
Met business friends and had wonderful window view for dinner. Halibut and crab cakes included interesting mix of ingredients. Everything tasted very fresh.
Service great and table request provided for an early dinner meal. Food was excellent.
Extraordinarily loud .... not a pleasant experience... had to almost yell to hear each other .... recommend acoustical baffles.... anything to absorb the loud conversations... didn't realize there was background music until lots of people left .... not a good place for intimate setting
I really enjoy this restaurant. It is casual dining with a beautiful view of the marina and inter - coastal waterway. Interesting menu and the food is great. Will definitely be back.
Everything was delicious. This restaurant is always on the top of our list.
Service was excellent.
Broiled oysters were good but 3 of 6 oysters themselves were terribly small, hardly any substance to them, making the order hardly worth it. I was very disappointed but i never expressed my disappointment and the waitress never asked.
Scallops were amazing, accompanied by grits and greens. The dish was great.
Always a great experience here
