Mario's Tutto Bene is a restaurant that has been owned by the Garafalo family for several generations. The focus here has always been on serving authentic Italian dishes and friendly service in a casual dining atmosphere. Mario's keeps its guests entertained on the weekends, offering karaoke on Saturday and Sunday evenings starting at 6:00pm. There is also separate dining rooms available to rent for private parties and events. The menu primarily consists of Old World Italian pasta dishes as well as pizzas and grilled entrees. Appetizers include pumpkin soup, oysters tequila, Gran Marnier rock shrimp and spinach spring rolls. Entrees specialties on Mario's menu include a rack lamb chop, New York strip, short ribs, Tuscan salmon and a seafood Cleopatra with mussels, clams, shrimp, and tilapia oreganato-style in a white wine sauce over risotto. Mario's also has a full wine list of mostly Italian wines and spirits.

We had a good meal, but not a GREAT meal. The entrees come with a salad which is nice. The appetizers tasted great but the portions were fair. When we were telling our waiter our entrees, I asked if I can change the side of potato for pasta, the waiter gave me the impression that it was difficult to make the substitution. He said that he would 'try to see if the chef would do it '. This was an Italian restaurant!!!! That surprised us. I ordered the NY Strip steak which was one of the specials of the day. The waiter kept saying that it was 'heaven'!!! For $31 it should be heaven. It was very good, but not amazing. It was very thin and pretty dry. The pasta was OK nothing special. Overall, it was good, and would go back.

I took my mom here for Christmas and we both enjoyed the food and excellent service. I highly recommend checking this place out. I had the Grouper and it was cooked to perfection.

Mario's food is always good and you get a decent amount for the money. Their bread is delicious and I love the intermezzo after salad that is included with entree....something I always enjoy! I have had large parties here in the past and they were hits. Service on this particular night was a bit slow and I was surprised since it was very earlyevening. My friend and I enjoyed our chicken with spinach dish and even ha leftovers. I love their desserts, too, but did not opt for any this evening. Very small parking lit and hard to find spot in the street....only flaw!

The staff was attentive but not overbearing. Our meals were very good, although one mentioned that the lobster sauce was a bit fishy tasting. The ambiance was soothing with painted murals and a fireplace. There is outdoors seating, just a shame it's on a busy street. We look forward to come back and try some other meals, and this time save room for dessert.

Recently discovered this wonderful restaurant. We have been back three times. Each time, the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. We dine out often and were impressed by the reasonable prices for everything from cocktails to desserts. It is obvious that this restaurant has many returning diners.....a true neighborhood favorite. By our second visit, we were treated like old friends. It is our new go-to restaurant.
